Loretta H. Lietzenmayer, 95, of Fort Mitchell, died at 3:25 a.m. Monday at Village Care Center, Erlanger. She was a secretary and payroll clerk with Continental Electric Co., Ludlow.
Survivors include a son, Karl Lietzenmayer of Covington; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Roy A. Munrath, 74, of Erlanger, died at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday at Baptist Village in Erlanger. He was a retired supervisor with U.S. Postal Service and a member of Fort Mitchell Baptist Church, the Northern Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame and the Colonel Clay Masonic Lodge No. 159 F&AM. He coached and managed several baseball teams in Northern Kentucky. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a sister, Margie Franklin of Fort Mitchell; nieces and nephews.

Virginia "Jean" May Piper, 82, of Latonia, died at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center North, Covington. She was a homemaker and a member of Latonia Christian Church. She was a member of the women's auxiliaries of Pohlmann-Linnemann VFW Post No. 1484 in Park Hills, Disabled American Veterans Post No. 19 and American Legion Post No. 203 in Latonia. She was a member of Women of the Moose No. 985 and the Latonia Lions Club. Her husband, Clarence B. Piper Sr., died in 1992.
Survivors include sons, Charles T. Frazier Sr. of Fort Wright; a stepson, C. B. Piper Jr. of Florida; daughters, Marion L. Webber and Rosella M. Wilson, both of Covington, and Beverly J. Paul William Stratman Sr., 47, of Newburgh, Ind., formerly of Latonia, died Monday at his sister's home in Latonia. His first wife, Emma Kay Webster, preceded him in death.

Clinton C. "Jake" Sweeney, 77, of Erlanger, died Monday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was a retired employee of the Ford Motor Co., a member of Latonia Christian Church and the American Legion, and an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Steckel Sweeney; and sons, Michael Sweeney of Florence, and Patrick Sweeney of Crittenden; and one grandchild.

Daniel F. Williams Sr., 41, of Dry Ridge, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. He was a military police officer with the Army and a member of Henry Barnes Lodge Masonic Lodge No. 607, Dayton.

Thelma Frakes - 'a nice lady'
Thelma Faye Turner Frakes was an Erlanger resident and homemaker.
"She had her own strong opinions, and she was just a nice lady," said her husband, Ray Frakes.
Mrs. Frakes died Thursday evening at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South in Edgewood. She was 77.
Mrs. Frakes was born
and reared in Campbell County.
She worked for a telephone company and also a Cincinnati business that made jet engines - now General Electric - before marrying Ray Frakes in 1959.
Mrs. Frakes was a member of Rosedale Baptist Church in Latonia.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Wayne Morris, and a daughter, Brenda Morris Choshnitzke.
Besides Mr. Frakes, survivors include a daughter, Karen Morris Whaley of Florence; a sister, Juani ta McClanahan of Butler; four grandsons and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Connley Brothers Funeral Home in Latonia. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Monday at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Highlands Cemetery in Fort Mitchell.

Juanita Weathers taught, worked for church missions
Juanita Weathers spent her life teaching and practicing the word of God as the wife of an Assembly of God minister.
Mrs. Weathers and her husband, Rev. Hardie Gene Weathers, were joint pastors in Waco, Texas, for 53 years.
"My mother was always at my father's side. She had her own ministries and worked with the people," said her daughter, GayNell Keith of Florence.
Mrs. Weathers, 87, died Friday at her home in Florence.
Mrs. Weathers had a passion for missions and raised thousands of dollars for mission work, said her daughter, whose husband, Rev. Cleddie Keith, is pastor of Heritage Fellowship Church in Florence.
Rev. Hardie Weathers died in 1990, and Mrs. Weathers moved to Northern Kentucky.
"She saw we had a need, and she went to work," said Rev. Keith.
Mrs. Weathers became the food management supervisor for the Heritage Academy in Florence.
"She took care of all the children and the teachers. She was like a mother to them," Rev. Keith said.
The 400 students at the school called Mrs. Weathers "Memaw."
"She had an incredible sense of humor, and she had the most endearing personality of anybody I've ever met," Rev. Keith said. "She was a strong lady, and she had a deep faith."
Other survivors include a brother, Rev. Warren Litzman of Dallas; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Heritage Assembly of God Church, Florence. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Monday at the church. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery, Waco, Texas.

Emma Wolfe Brewer, 102, formerly of Falmouth, died Thursday at Millers Merry Manor in Wakarusa, Ind.
Her first husband, Samuel Brewer, died in 1913. Her second husband, Riley Brewer, died in 1977.
Survivors include sons, Terrill Brewer of Nappanee, Ind., and James Brewer of Nitro, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
