Arthur Owens, 88, of Florence, died Friday in an auto accident in Florence.
He was a greeter with the Wal-Mart store in Florence and a member of Warsaw Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. His wife, Mary Owens, died in May.
Survivors include daughters, Joyce Ellis of Warsaw, Barbara Warth of Lexington and Wanda Owens of Belton, Texas; a son, Wesley Owens of Miami; a sister, Irene Queen of Lexington; a brother, Dusty Owens of Lexington; six grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Carlton-Lowder Funeral Home, Warsaw. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Warsaw Cemetery.

Vicki L. Schneider, 50, of Bellevue, died Saturday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas.
She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Tower Methodist Church, Bellevue.

He was a retired lift truck operator with Procter & Gamble Co., Cincinnati.

David N. Tibbs, 53, of Pickerington, Ohio, formerly of Covington, died Saturday at Grant Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.
He was a regional sales manager with Arctic Express in Columbus and a member of Pickerington American Legion Post No. 283, Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Eagles Aerie and an Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Kay Osterhage Tibbs; sons, Douglas Tibbs, Matthew Tibbs and Daniel Tibbs, all of Pickerington; his father, Howard N. Tibbs of Covington; and a sister, Deborah Kindred of Nicholasville.

Helen Louise Tucker, 80, of Brooksville, died at 12:34 p.m. Saturday at Meadowview Regional Medical Center, Maysville.
She was a homemaker and a member of Powersville Christian Church. Her husband, Dan Tucker Jr., died in 1975. A son, Larry Tucker, died in 1968.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen Sue McDaniel of Brooksville; one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.

Blanche Liggett Beckner Walton, 87, of Florence, died Friday at Woodspoint Nursing Home, Florence.
She was a homemaker and a member of East Bend Baptist Church Ladies Adult Classes and Women's Missionary Union. She was the former owner of Burlington Grill Restaurant.
Her first husband, John Beckner, died in 1942. Her second husband, William S. Walton, died in 1980. A son, Dan Beckner, died in 1992, and a daughter, Peggy Louden, died in 1998.
Survivors include sons, John Sonny Beckner of Cincinnati and William Billy Walton of Oneida; daughters, Norma Manley of Brooksville, Fla., and Ann Stephens of Owenton; 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Irma Louise Kehr Winkler, 74, of Latonia, died at 4:20 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit, Covington.
She was a retired employee of Shillito's Department Store. Her husband, Carl Lambert Winkler, died in 1999.
Survivors include a brother, Chester Kehr of Cincinnati; and a sister, Edith Egbert of Cincinnati.

Rev. John J. McGuire, 40-year Covington priest
Rev. John J. McGuire believed in helping people at home and in other countries.
Rev. McGuire, a priest with the Diocese of Covington for 40 years, was a former pastor of Mary Queen of Heaven Church in Erlanger. He also established two parishes in Colombia.
Jerry Enderle, of Burlington, worked with Rev. McGuire on the finance council at Mary Queen of Heaven Church and traveled with the priest to Colombia.
"He enjoyed being a priest and serving the people. I saw that when I worked with him at Mary Queen of Heaven and when I traveled with him to Cali," Enderle said. "The people of Cali looked at him as a father."
Rev. McGuire, 67, of Covington, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospice Unit in Covington.
A native of Ashland, Father McGuire established two parishes in Colombia a number of years ago.
He built Our Lady of Hope parish in Cali and then built another church, Jesus of Nazareth, in the neighborhood of Diamante.
Later, Rev. McGuire established a non-profit organization, Mission Share, to continue to support church services in Colombia. Mission Share has since expanded its projects to include Mexico, Africa and Russia.
Rev. McGuire retired as pastor of Mary Queen of Heaven Church in 1998.
He was a member of Ancient Order of Hibernians and was the first chaplain of the Northern Kentucky Fenians Chapter. The organization holds a fund-raising golf tournament each year in Father McGuire's name.

John Meece, a nephew who lives in Erlanger, said his uncle was very interested in community and family.
"He really taught people to believe in community and believe beyond themselves to poorer nations. He had numerous ongoing projects. It was just incredible."

Michael Bowman, 46, of Hebron, died Monday at his home. He was a disabled machinist.

Elizabeth "Betty" Menzies Bradshaw, 82, of Park Hills, died at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church. She was a former member and deaconess with Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Cincinnati. She was a member of Fort Mitchell Country Club, a board member of the Covington Ladies Home, a past treasurer with Covington Salvation Army Corp. and a volunteer with St. Elizabeth Medical Center South in Edgewood and Clovernook School for the Blind. Her husband, G. A. Bradshaw, died in 1984.
Survivors include daughters, Elizabeth Bradshaw Garrett of Atlanta and Ann Bradshaw Drew of Augusta, Ga.; a brother, John Whitley Menzies of Florence; and four granddaughters.

Margaret Elizabeth Brockman, 68, of Florence, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a bookkeeper with Liberty Mutual. Her husband, Raymond Brockman, died in 1981.

Terry Alan Casey, 39, formerly of Covington, died Dec. 22 as a result of injuries from an auto accident in Blountville, Tenn.
Mr. Casey was a certified respiratory therapist for Select Specialty Hospital of Bristol, Tenn.

Nellie Chinn, 93, of Germantown, died Tuesday at her home. She was a restaurant owner and a member of Germantown Christian Church. Her husband, Allen Fay Chinn, died in 1955. A son, Harold Chinn, and a daughter, Marjorie Chinn, also preceded her in death.

Gerald Dance, 69, of Toledo, Ohio, formerly of Walton and Independence, died Dec. 13 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. He was a construction worker.

Talbert "Tack" Deaton Sr., 90, of Wolfcoal, died Sunday at Appalachian Regional Medical Center, Hazard. He was a retired coal miner, a carpenter and an employee of the Kentucky State Highway Department. His wife, Malinda Turner Deaton, died in 1997. A daughter, Magdalene Turner, died in 1998.

John L. Feagan, 91, of Burlington, died Monday at his home. He was a retired farmer, a former member of the Boone County School Board, and a former deacon with Richwood Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the board of Kentucky Farmers Mutual Fire Insurance Co. His first wife, Catherine Cleek Feagan, died in 1984. Sons, Jack Feagan and Jim Feagan, died in 1999 and 1976, respectively.
