Charles Sabie, 73, of Covington, died Thursday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
He was a store manager.
Survivors include daughters, Beverly Downs of Crescent Springs, Debbie McNeely of Independence,Jenny Sabie of Louisville and Missy Finnell of Erlanger; sons, Greg Sabie of Independence and Jeff Sabie of Covington; and six grandchildren.
No services are planned. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.

Victoria May Sapp, 97, of Mays Lick, died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday at Maysville Extended Care Center.
She was a homemaker and a member of Mays Lick Christian Church. She also was a foster grandmother. Her husband, Charles Sapp, died in 1973. Stepsons Charles E. Sapp and John A. "Jack" Sapp also preceded her in death.
Survivors include sons, Anthony Sapp of Mount Sterling and Harry Sapp of Mays Lick; daughters, Eunice Cobb Reed of West Jefferson, Ohio, and Reba Schanz of Amelia, Ohio; stepsons, George "Tommy" Sapp and James D. Sapp, both of Maysville; eight grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mays Lick Christian Church. Visitation will begin there at noon Wednesday. Burial will be in Mays Lick Cemetery.

Georgia Painter Sayers, 87, of Fort Wright, died Saturday at her home.
She was a retired teacher with Park Hills School and a member of First Baptist Church of Ludlow and Kentucky Retired Teachers Association. Her husband, William Roy Sayers, died in 1995.
Survivors include daughters, Sandra Sayers of Fort Wright and Mary Lee Mueller of Sunnyvale, Calif.; a sister, Maryland Meyer of Houston; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Ludlow. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home, Ludlow. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Piney Grove Cemetery, Brodhead.

Lillian Earletta Sorrell, 92, of Cincinnati, formerly of Latonia, died at 10:50 a.m. Saturday at Wesley Hall, Cincinnati.
She was a retired seamstress with St. Elizabeth Medical Centers and a member of Latonia Christian Church, where she taught Sunday school. Her husband, Clifford H. Sorrell, died in 1965.
Survivors include sons, James Sorrell of Hamilton, Ohio, and Donald Sorrell of Burlington; a daughter, Kathleen Creekmore of Latonia; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Covington. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral home. Burial will be in Hopeful Lutheran Cemetery, Florence.

He was an insulator with Jensen and Son Co.
Survivors include his wife, Pam Stacy; a son, Daniel Stacy of Erlanger; a daughter, Rebecca Stacy of Erlanger; his mother, Maxine Stacy of Lexington; and brothers, Darrell Stacy and Richard Taylor, both of Lexington.

Catherine Fannie Taylor, 94, of Independence, died Saturday at Woodspoint Nursing Home, Florence.
She was a member of Independence Christian Church and the Quilters Club. Her husband, George R. Taylor, died in 1997.
Survivors include a daughter, Marcia Rena Bailey of Independence; a sister, Barbara Jacobs of Brunswick, Ga.; a brother, John Thomas Brock of Brunswick; and three grandchildren.

Mary Regina Bishop Taylor, 52, of Independence, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
She was a bookkeeper with Boone Kenton Lumber Co., Erlanger, and a member of St. Cecilia Church, Independence.
Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Taylor of Independence; a daughter, Brandy K. Mueller of Independence; a son, Robert Jeremy Taylor of Independence; her mother, Anna Mae Bishop of Independence; sisters, Marie Daughtery Florence, Sue Burkhart of Walton, Kathy Pagliai of Chicago and Rose Ann Howard of Missoula, Montana; brothers, William Bishop Jr. of Taylor Mill, Michael Bishop of West Chester, Ohio, and Tom Bishop Sr. of Sadieville; and four grandchildren.

Elmer P. Veneman, 76, of Fort Thomas, died at 2:10 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke Hospital East, Fort Thomas.
He was the retired owner of Elmer P. Veneman Accounting Co., Fort Thomas, and a member of John R. Little VFW Post No. 3186, Southgate, and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Veneman; daughters, Linda Negich of Alexandria, Maureen Negich of San Jose, Calif., and Theresa Ross of Kettering, Ohio; sons, Michael Veneman and Dennis Veneman, both of Fort Thomas; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Ginger Myrtle Vetsch, 87, of Covington, died Tuesday at her home. Her husband, Aloysyus Vetsch, died in 1971.
Survivors include nieces, Dorothy Cash of Milwaukee, Nina Henderson of Walton and Jean Pfotts of Dayton, Ohio; and nephews, Frank Courtney and Charles Courtney, both of Boone, N.C.
