Survivors include her daughter: Doris June Smith of Fairdale, Kentucky She was preceded in death by two brothers: Marvin Taylor and Morris Taylor and one niece: Pat McCarty. She was the widow of Anthony Nicholas Hartlauf, Jr.,

She was a retired Eaton employee and was a member of Salvisa Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid ball and NASCAR fan.Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 22 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Clark officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Louisville with Bobby Brock, Danny Brock, Monty McRay, Darrell Brock, Noble Boswell and Walter Monroe, Jr. serving as pallbearers and Frank and Nancy Ransdell serving as honorary pallbearers.

Memorial contributions may be made to Salvisa Baptist Church Life Center Building Fund, 138 Kirkwood Road, Salvisa, Kentucky 40372.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 22 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Clark officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Louisville with Bobby Brock, Danny Brock, Monty McRay, Darrell Brock, Noble Boswell and Walter Monroe, Jr. serving as pallbearers and Frank and Nancy Ransdell serving as honorary pallbearers.

Interment: Spring Hill Cemetery, At A Later Date

Mr. William Lawrence Raley, 72, of Frankfort, husband of Violet Raley, died Thursday, April 20, 2006 at the Bradford Square Nursing Home in Frankfort. Born January 17, 1934 in Casey County, he was the son of the late Tolley and Mary Lane Raley. He was a Machine Operator for Ertol Manufacturing. Mr. Raley enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and traveling.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons: Roger (Kathy) Raley of Boyle County, and Michael Raley of Anderson County. Three step-sons: Billy Yates of Oklahoma, Steven Paynter of Indianapolis, and Douglas (Judy) Paynter of Frankfort. One daughter Cindy (Gary) Wooldridge of Frankfort, three step-daughters: Jeanitta (Rudy) Montona of Indianapolis, Patty Roche of Frankfort and Debbie (Jessie) Venezuela of California.

Five brothers: Kenneth (Jo Ann) Raley of Indianapolis, James Lester “Frog” (Ruby) Raley of Harrodsburg, Harold (Margaret) Goodlett of Harrodsburg, Frank (Emma Dell) Goodlett of Salvisa, and David Goodlett of Harrodsburg. Three sisters: Opal (Virgil) Peyton of Harrodsburg, Brenda Goodlett of Danville, and Rachel Goodlett of Harrodsburg. Sixteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by one brother: Donnie Goodlett and one step-daughter April Patrick.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2006 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Wallace Kent officiating. Visitation will begin after 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2006 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ona Lou Taylor Hall, 93, widow of James Clarence Hall, of Franks Court, Harrodsburg, died August 10, 2006 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born June 11, 1913 in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late James Robert and Sarah Jane Mullinix Taylor. She was a former laundry worker and homemaker. Mrs. Hall was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, attended the Mercer County Senior Citizens, and was involved with the Widow to Widow Group.

Mrs. Hall is survived by two sons: James Everett Hall of Harrodsburg and George Harrison Hall of Nicholasville. Eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by three sons: Jerry Thomas, David Russell, and Charles Kenneth Hall, five brothers and five sisters.

Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 14, 2006 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Rick Snyder and Bro. James Harley officiating. Interment will be in Peters Cemetery in Mackville with Christopher David Hall, Mike Hall, Doug Hall, Rickey Hall, Keith Hall, Josh Brummett, and Logan Hall serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and after 7:00 a.m. Monday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Mercer County Senior Citizens, 1475 Louisville Rd., and/or Harrodsburg Baptist Church, P.O. Box 286, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.

She was the wife of Gerald Edward Hummell, Harrodsburg, formerly of Louisville. She was the daughter of Charles (Lynda) Carr of Harrodsburg and Imogene Lay Gordon of Harrodsburg. Additional survivors besides her husband and parents include: one son: Christopher Jordan Hummell, Harrodsburg; one sister: Charla Pratt and her husband, Roger, Harrodsburg; one brother: Samuel D. Carr and his wife, Kathy, Harrodsburg; two nephews: Kevin Patrick Lupson and Spencer Douglas Carr.

She was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and received her Masters at Kent State.

She was a career state employee and retired as a social worker for Central State Hospital and was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church. She loved antiques, redecorating, and spending time with family and friends.

Stanley and Gladys Watts, 74, parents of Judy Love (Larry) Strode, Knoxville, Tennessee and Donna Sue (Donnie) Hamilton, Harrodsburg died Sunday, July 23, 2006 at their residence. Mr. Watts was born July 16, 1932 in Mercer Co. to the late Pattie C. and Mary Yates Watts. He was a retired automobile dealer who loved automobiles, westerns and enjoyed collecting guns and knives. Mrs. Watts was born September 25, 1931 in Mercer County to the late Ballard and Love Underwood Burke. She was a retired American Greetings employee and enjoyed crocheting, her grandchildren, collecting Boyd’s Bears and Owls. They were both members of the Shawnee Run Baptist Church. They both loved their Pomeranian, Chase. Additional survivors for Mr. Watts include: two brothers: Hanley (Mable) R. Watts, Harrodsburg and J.T. (Evelyn) Watts, Crab Orchard; two sisters: Patsy (Norman) White, Harrodsburg and Nancy Huff, Loveland, Ohio. He was preceded in death by one brother: Robert Watts. Additional survivors for Mrs. Watts include: one sister: Garnetta Warner, Harrodsburg. She was preceded in death by two brothers: William G. Burke and Ballard Randolph Burke, Jr. and two sisters: Della Crawford and Helen Joyce. They are both survived by their five grandchildren: Elizabeth and Erica Strode and Jeremy and Kimberly Burton and Alana (Chris) Murphy and one great-granddaughter: Autumn Murphy.

He was the husband of Geneva Kirkland Jenkins, Harrodsburg and the son of the late Guster and Cordie Belle Carr Jenkins, Sr. Additional survivors besides his wife include: two daughters: Pamela Jenkins-Sanford and her husband, Brad, Nashville, Tennessee and Susan Wysong and her husband, James, Danville; two brothers: Stanley Jenkins and his wife, Joyce, Harrodsburg and James Jenkins and his wife, Helen, Lexington; two sisters: Eva Stine and her husband, Buford, Harrodsburg and Dorothy Drury and her husband, Oscar, Lexington; five grandchildren: Julie and Philip Wysong and Courtney, Cara and Will Sanford and several nieces and nephews.

He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army where he served in the Korean War.

He was a retired Tile Contractor, a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church, where he was a Senior Deacon and he was a Kentucky Colonel.

She was the widow of John Carl William Mekelburg. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Roberta Coppersmith Turnbull. Survivors include: eight children: Barbara Ayash, Reno, Nevada, Clayton Mekelburg, Ft. Lupton, Colorado, Inez Hightower, Glendale, Arizona, Larry Mekelburg, Reno, Nevada, Thomas Mekelburg, Harrodsburg, Kentucky, Karen Damron, Sacramento, California, Michael Mekelburg, Tampa Bay, Florida and Gordon Mark Mekelburg, Lisbon, Portugal; three sisters: Nellie Blank, Denver, Colorado; Juanita West, Otis, Colorado, and Betty Birch, Searchlight, Nevada; thirty-eight grandchildren and fifty-six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons: Alvin Howard Mekelburg and Leland Mekelburg; one brother: Enos Turnbull; two sisters: Gladys Turnbull and Grace Heltenburg; two grandchildren: Clayton Mekelburg, Jr. and Brenda Markel and one great-grandchild: Shauna Keeley.

A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2006 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 425 Patchen Drive, Lexington with Pastor Lohn Johnson, officiating and 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 27 at the St. Johns Lutheran Church, 405 S. Albany, Yuma, Colorado with Pastor Allen Yount officiating. Burial will be in the Yuma County Cemetery in Yuma, Colorado.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Lexington. She enjoyed singing in the choir, her family, reading, cooking, sewing, telling stories and writing letters. More that anything she loved sharing the word of God.

Mrs. Mary Phillips, 65, wife of Homer Phillips, Harrodsburg, died Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at the James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital. Born June 4, 1941 in Fayette County, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Miller and Edna Mae Lamb Shelton, Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles.

Additional survivors besides her husband include: one daughter: Shirleen Phillips, Harrodsburg; one foster son: Mark Turner, Harrodsburg; four brothers: Harvey Shelton, Jr., Shelbyville, Lonnie Shelton, Frankfort, Leonard Shelton, Lawrenceburg and David Shelton, Frankfort; five sisters: Sarah Tandy, Frankfort, Rita Collins, Frankfort, Peggy Gardner, Frankfort, Betty Grantham, Foxworth, Mississippi, Ann Goins, Georgetown, two grandchildren: Bruce Phillips and Angel Phillips; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother: Jerry Wayne Shelton.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2006 with John David Lane officiating. Burial will be in the Burgin Memorial Gardens with Mitchell Searcy, Bill Wheeler, Jim Collier, Michael Hensley, Bruce Phillips and Johnny Lake serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 7:00 a.m. Saturday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

Mr. Robert E. Isaac, 77, husband of Rita Wells Isaac, Harrodsburg, died Sunday, July 16, 2006 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. Born April 24, 1929 in Fayette County, he was the son of the late Clyde and Nannie Gill Isaac. He was a retired water hauler and former construction worker and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Additional survivors besides his wife include: two daughters: Melissa Anne Gullett, and her husband, Chris and Bobbie Frances Potts and her husband, Daniel, both of Harrodsburg; two brothers: Ray Isaac, Nicholasville and Bruce Mastin, Nicholasville; two sisters: Cindy Huff, Nicholasville and Juanita Fredricks, Florida; three grandchildren: Blake Gullett, Caitlyn Potts and Jensen LeAnne Potts and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Faye Reed and Lena Bruner.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2006 with Raymond Isaac officiating. Burial will be in Grapevine Christian Church Cemetery with Joe Satterly, Jeff Lanham, Scott Cornish, Eddie Burton, Larry Waggner, and Ronnie Wells serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 7:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

Harold Lloyd Warren, 79, of Lark Street, Harrodsburg, husband of Leona Green Warren, died Saturday, July 15, 2006 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. Born November 20, 1926 in Harlan County, he was the son of the late John and Grace Rogers Warren. He was a retired Meat Cutter having most recently worked at C&T Food Market. Harold was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in World War II. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion.

Besides his wife, Harold is survived by three daughters: Debbie (John) Combs of Clay City, Sandy (Chad) Shepherd also of Clay City, and D.J. (Greg) Pelster of Lexington. Three sons: Dennis (Christina) Warren of Richmond, Mike (Ruth) Warren also of Richmond, and Barry Warren of Harrodsburg. Three sisters: Vivian Walden of Covington, Vera Horn of Erlanger, and Gaylene Warren of Covington. One brother: James Warren of Erlanger. Four grandchildren: Tara Graham, Nathan Combs, Bridget Shepherd, and Colby Warren. Two great grandchildren: Carli Salchli, and Ryne Graham, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 18, at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. James Harley officiating. Burial with military Honors will be in Spring Hill Cemetery with Chad Shepherd, Greg Pelster, John Combs, Nathan Combs, Colby Warren, Barry Warren, Donald Green, and Sac Humes serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Martha, Terry Currens, Collene Horn, Kent Lunsford, Bill Hall, Durand Lay, and Sonny Driskell.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Heritage Hospice, P.O. Box 1213, Danville, KY 40422 and/or the Mercer County Humane Society, 896 Moberly Road, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
