Born in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late William Clayton and Ella Mae Rose Walls. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church, enjoyed movies, and country music. She is survived by her sisters: Betty Satterly of Harrodsburg, Nellie Riley, Ann Hardin, Roxie Walls all of Harrodsburg. Dorothy Young of Lawrenceburg and one step brother Walter Rose and his wife Lucy of Nashville. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was the daughter of the late John Lee and Elizabeth Norvell Curry and the widow of Henry Lee Logue. Mrs. Logue is survived by her four sons Marshall J. (Della) Logue of Nicholasville, Maurice C. (Hazel) Logue of Nicholasville, Walter Lee (Dixie) Logue of Mercer County, and Raymond D. (Loraine) Logue of Lexington. A niece and care-giver Betty Louallen of Harrodsburg, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
She had worked at the Mercer County Food Bank, was a member of the Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church, a charter member of Dixie Belle Homemakers, she enjoyed sewing, and collecting plates and lamps.
Funeral services for Mrs. Logue will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Don Reed officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery
with Dennis Sallee, Donnie Sims, Jonathan Ray Logue, Robert Vanover, Larry Thomas Logue, Dalton Curry, and Billy Grider serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Garnett Matherly, Hershel Votaw, Bobby Carrier, Eddie Horton, Michael C. Logue and Kenneth Wayne Logue. He was born March 13, 1921 in Boyle County, Kentucky to the late Davis E. Kurtz and Bettie Brown Sallee Kurtz. Survivors include five sons Arthur Kurtz and his wife Joyce of Springsboro, Ohio. Jeff Kurtz and his wife Pam of Centerville, Ohio. David Kurtz and his wife Amy of Lamont, Oklahoma. Mike Kurtz and his wife LeAnn of West Carrolton, Ohio. Eddie Kurtz of West Carrollton, Ohio. Four daughters Darlene Kurtz of Westchester, Ohio. Donna Napper and her husband Johnny of Middletown, Ohio. Debbie Harig and her husband Ron of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Mary “Libby” Sheets of Dayton, Ohio. Two sisters Betty R. Wells of Allegan, Michigan. Mary Kurtz Person and her husband Jerry of Louisville, Kentucky Seventeen grandchildren survive and ten great grandchildren also survive One brother Carrol T. Kurtz preceded him in death.
He served in the United States Army during W.W.II.
Retired from the maintenance department of Powell Valve Company in Cincinnati. A member of St. Bernard Eagles Lodge in St. Bernard, Ohio.
Funeral service will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Sunday February 29, 2004 at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home. Interment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery

She was the daughter of the late Robert and Nellie Shear Carrier. The widow of Edward McKenney. Survivors include her four sons: Johnny McKenney and his wife Mary Jane of Lexington. Ted McKenney and his wife Lueanna of Burgin, Samuel McKenney of Deep Creek Road, Mercer County and Joey McKenney of Salvisa. One daughter Betty Jean McKenney of Corbin. Five grandchildren and two step grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by one daughter Bobbie McKenney.
She enjoyed working in her garden.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2004 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Daniel Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery

He was a press operator for Corning, a member of Bruner’s Chapel Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and woodworking.

Mrs. Taylor was born in Washington County to George Leonard and Ora Kimberlin Pope. She was the second of five children. Madge was married to Horace Taylor on July 4, 1929. From this union, they raised, nurtured and loved two daughters, Katie Louise Willoughby and Mary Elizabeth Harris. They were married for Sixty Years until Horaces' passing February 4, 1990. Madge was an active and the last surviving member of Unity Baptist Church, where she held the positions of church secretary and church treasurer. She was an accomplished homemaker and cook. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She worked for many years with the Senior Citizens of Harrodsburg providing numerous services for the elderly.
Madge is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws, Rev. and Mrs. Alton Willoughby, Mr. and Mrs. Madison Harris, Jr., and sister Mrs. Mattie Cunningham; grandchildren, Roosevelt Jones, Jr., Valerie Harris, Kenneth Jones, Madris Harris-Henry, Carol Jones, Jeffrey Harris, Jerome Harris, 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Alzheimers Association.

She was the daughter of the late Frank and Jeannette Hellard Sims. Mrs. Darland is survived by her husband of Sixty-Five Years, Lafon Darland of Harrodsburg, one son Doyle Sims (Kim) Darland of Harrodsburg. One sister Berniese Matherly of Harrodsburg. Two grandchildren Timothy Doyle (Krystal) Darland and Christopher Keith Darland. Four great grandchildren: Logan Darland, Taylor Darland, Hunter Dean, and Colton Darland and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons Gerald Dale Darland, and J.W. Darland, three brothers William D. Sims, Vernon Sims, Haldon J. Sims and two sisters Dorothy Sanders and Louise Harlow.
She had worked at the Bus Station in Harrodsburg and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery

He was a retired superintendent for Lex-Tran, a member of the Lexington Lions Club, a NASCAR enthusiast and enjoyed golf and fishing.

She was preceded in death by four sons: Bobby Settles, Terry Settles, Glenn Settles and Daniel Settles; one daughter: Beatrice Whiteneck; two sisters: Alma Bottoms and Doris Bottoms and two brothers: Donald Bottoms and Bobby Bottoms.
She was a housewife, a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening.

He was the husband of Donna Dunning McGinnis. He was the son of the late Guy E. McGinnis, Sr. and Evelyn Logue McGinnis. Rich McGinnis and his wife Vickie of Harrodsburg. Two sisters JoAnn Russell and her husband Claude of Harrodsburg. Jeannie Bugg and her husband Roy of Harrodsburg. Three grandchildren Jordan Lee Ann McGinnis, Lee Edward McGinnis and Steh Jacob McGinnis all of Harrodsburg. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A retired employee of IBM, Lexmark and a farmer. He was a member of Bruners Chapel Baptist Church and a NASCAR Fan.

Dorothy is survived by her foster mother Stella Brooks of Frankfort, three sons: Thomas Darland, Tim Darland, and David Ashton all of Harrodsburg. Six brothers Jim McWilliams of St. Louis, Bert Beeler of Portland, Oregon, Jerry Simpson of Louisville, Jeff Simpson of Louisville, Bobby McFarland of Georgia, and David McFarland of Frankfort. Four sisters Shirley Radcliffe of Louisville, Jackie Neely of Richmond, Linda Cave of Louisville, and Connie McFarland of Frankfort. Eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Harrodsburg Church of God where she was actively involved and had served as Chairperson of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2004 at the Harrodsburg Church of God with Bro. Glenn Daugherty and Jim McWilliams officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery
