She was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Bertha Sea Grubbs. Mrs. Boblett is survived by her son Chad Boblett, a United States Marine stationed in Japan. Two daughters Linda (John) Hall and Cynthia Griffieth both of Harrodsburg. Two brothers David Grubbs of Lexington and Daniel Grubbs of Somerset. Five sisters Kathleen Grubbs Rucker of Lawrenceburg, Carolyn Grubbs Nethery of Louisville, Marcella Boblett of Lawrenceburg, Deborah Grubbs Richardson of Bardstown, and Mary Riley of Springfield. Seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. One grandchild preceded her in death.
She was a former employee of Harrodsburg Health Care Center, was a member of the United Pentecostal Church, and she enjoyed reading.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2003 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Kevin Patrick officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery
in Anderson County with Jo Cob Turner, Andrew Griffieth, Michael Salvia, Kenneth Black, Sammy Riley, and Billy Dye serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. To 9:00 p.m. Friday and after 7:00 a.m. Saturday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home.

He was the son of the late John Garret and Lottie Warner Reed. Mr. Reed is survived by his wife of Sixty Two Years, Edith Durr Reed of Mercer County, his daughter and son-in-law Gail Reed Devine and Jimmy Devine of Danville. His sister Cordelia Miller of Greenup, Kentucky, three grandchildren: Tony (Della) Peavler of Glasgow, Brent (Becky) Peavler of Harrodsburg, and Thomas (Nina) Peavler of Nicholasville. Two step-grandchildren Tammy (Eddie) McGinnis and Eddie (Amy) Devine all of Harrodsburg. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
He was a lifelong member of Cornishville Christian Church where he served as a Deacon and a member of the Adult Men's Sunday School Class. He enjoyed farming as an occupation and also as a hobby.

He was the beloved husband for Fifty Three Years to Joyce Lane Sanders Shelton, of Lexington, he was the son of the late Joseph and Carrie Tally Shelton, Sr.. Besides his wife, Mr. Shelton is survived by his son Joseph E. (Ashley) Shelton, III of Brewster, Mass., two daughters Sharon Sue (John) Burgin of Raleigh, N.C. And Sonja Lane (Allen) Ostendorff of Greensboro, N.C.. One brother Louis H. (Leta) Shelton of Bowling Green; one sister Martha Mercer of Bowling Green, and two special nephews Billy and Gene Derr. Four grandchildren: Christopher Burgin, Natalie Ostendorff, Nicholas Ostendorff and Henry Shelton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
He retired as a highly decorated Major in the United States Air Force having served in WWII and Vietnam.
He also retired from Square D in Lexington, was a member of the First Christian Church where he served as Sunday School Teacher and Deacon.

She was the wife of Billy Jay Simpson. She was the daughter of the late William Elisha and Dorothy Harrison West. Besides her husband, Mrs. Simpson is survived by her Step-Father James E. Reed of Burgin, her mother in law Effie Simpson of Harrodsburg, three sons Darrell Edward (Linda) Followell of Burgin, William Scott Followell of Perryville, and Travis Lynn Simpson of Harrodsburg. Two brothers J.W. (Ova) West of Nancy, KY., and Howard (Doris) West of Burgin. Two half-sisters Maxine (Kenny) Wilson of Danville and Darlene (Wayne) Lister of Danville. Five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was a former Mercer Dress employee and a home sitter for the elderly. She enjoyed reading and watching television.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2003 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Geurin officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery

She was the daughter of the late J.C. And Ida Hellard Adkinson. She was the widow of James C. Whittinghill. Survivors include two daughters Mrs. Jean (Morgan) Wheeler of Harrodsburg and Mrs. Willa (Cecil) Carey of Nicholasville. Two sisters Rosalyn Wilson and Mirtie Dean both of Harrodsburg. Six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren, and a special friend Emma Hardin, who cared for her.
She was retired from Cricketeer and a member of the Cornishville Christian Church. Mrs. Whittinghill will always be remembered for her great love for her family

She was a former employee of the Gem Store, a member of Bethel Baptist Church, she enjoyed cooking and walking.

He was the son of Harold (Tommy) and Elsie Jean Riley Dennis of Harrodsburg. He was the husband of Diana Roach Dennis. Besides his parents and wife, Mr. Dennis is survived by his Maternal Grandmother Elsie Riley of Harrodsburg; his daughter, Kayla Marie Sizemore of Stanford, his son, Corey Daniel Dennis of Stanford, his brother Tommy Joseph Dennis of Harrodsburg, and his sister Tammy Jean (Jorg) Potts of Harrodsburg. Three nephews Danny Potts, Carl Thomas Dennis and Andy Potts, one niece Jeanie Sanford, several cousins, aunts, and uncles.
He was a plumber with Hayslett Mechanical Contractors, Inc., attended the Mercer Church of Christ, enjoyed watching auto racing, fishing, boating, camping, and spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 13, 2003 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Justice officiating. Burial will be in Bruners Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery

He was a member of Dry Branch Baptist Church, an Equipment Operator for Hayslett Mechanical Contractors, Inc., and enjoyed fishing and drag racing.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2003, at the Perryville Baptist Church with Rev. J. Tom Patterson and John Bailey officiating. Burial will be in the Peter's Cemetery, Washington County with Jeff Bradshaw, James Martin, Brian Wiley, Stephen Guillen, Travis Scott Taylor and Doug Taylor serving as pallbearers and the Staff of Hayslett Mechanical Contractors, Inc. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

She was the daughter of the late John and Beulah Peavler Coker. Mrs. Warner is survived by her son John (Sheri) Warner of Harrodsburg, two daughters Kimberly Baker Smith of Harrodsburg and Lynne Warner (Logan) Lynn of Harrodsburg. Two sisters Amanda Tyler and Tilda Coslow, both of Harrodsburg. Eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her brother Samuel Coker and a sister Mary Gowins and a granddaughter Emma Katherine Lynn.
She was retired from Modine in Harrodsburg and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, collecting rocks, watching birds, collecting roosters, and raising roses.
