DOMINGA ESQUIVEL
ULYSSES Dominga "Sandy" Esquivel, 52, died Jan. 3, 2003, at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses.
She was born Aug. 4, 1950, to Marcelino B. Sr. and Geneva (Felan) Pauda, in Brownfield, Texas.
She married Homero Esquivel July 27, 1968 in Shallowater, Texas. He survives.
She had been a resident of Ulysses for 29 years.
Other survivors include, her mother, Ulysses; two sons, Homer Esquivel, Jr. of Piggott, Ark., and Henry Esquivel, Ulysses; four daughters, Antonia Alvarez, Isabel Esquivel, Angielee Esquivel, and Andria Esquivel, all of Ulysses; nine brothers, Jesse Joe Pauda, Lubbock, Texas, Mark, Robert, Louie, Jose, Luis, Angel, Albert, Bill, and Sammy Pauda; three sisters, Geneva Ramos, Irene Sosa, and Irma Pando, all of Ulysses; seven grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her father.
Vigil services will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ulysses.
Funeral Mass will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ulysses with the Rev. Louis Hoang presiding.
Burial will follow at Ulysses Cemetary in Ulysses.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. Sunday and until service time Tuesday at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

DORTHY M. SUBLETT
TOPEKA Dorthy Mae (Voyles) Sublett, 93, formerly of Liberal, died Jan. 1, 2003, at her home in Topeka.
She was born Dec. 5, 1909, to Julius Wilson and Mattie (Preston) Voyles in Parker County, Texas.
She married Carl T. Sublett Jan. 9, 1933. He died in 1971.
She moved from the Texas Panhandle to Liberal in 1953. She worked part time at a laundromat, a motel, and for the daily paper. She moved to Topeka in Sept. 2002.
She was a member of Egan Park Baptist Church in McCook, Neb.
Her hobbies included spending time with her family and her church.
Survivors include, one daughter Laverta Murphy and husband, Don, Topeka; one sister, Juanita Holman, Bolivar, Mo.; three grandsons, Stan Murphy and wife, Yvonne, Topeka, Stuart Murphy, Los Angeles, Calif., Steve Murphy and wife, Laura, Topeka; one grandaughter, Sharla (Murphy) Johnson and husband Bruce, Valentine, Neb.; great-grandchildren Donovan and Jillian, Topeka, Calli and Kyle, Valentine, Neb., Kim Hiser and husband Evan, Lincoln, Neb., Scott Johnson and wife Erin, Omaha, Neb., Seeley May, Topeka; great-great grandson, Dylan, Lincoln, Neb.; and eight nephews and nieces.
She is preceeded in death by her husband; an infant son, Kenneth Merle; her parents; three sisters; and two brothers.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Southern Baptist Church in Liberal.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m Tuesday at Liberal Cemetary.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town in Topeka.

VICKIE D. SMALL
Johnson CITY Vickie Darlene (Stelzig) Small, 47, formerly of Moscow, died Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003, at her home in Johnson City.
She was born Nov. 15, 1955, to Lawrence Edwin and Jewel Christine (Gatlin) Stelzig, in Clovis, N.M.
She married Fred Small on Aug. 6, 1976, in Sublette. He died Jan. 28, 2000.
She was an L.P.N.
Survivors include one daughter, Kristi J. Van Hooser and husband, Earl, Johnson City; six sons, Larry Small and wife, Chris, Satanta, Charles W. Small, Earl Small, and Julian Small, all of North Platte, Neb., Fred Small Jr. and wife, Cyndee, Liberal, Robert Small and wife, Isidra, Hutchinson; two brothers, Gary Stelzig and wife, Cindy, Newark, Del., and Ricky Stelzig, Amarillo, Texas; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Bobby Stelzig; and one grandson, Eric Small.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Moscow Baptist Church in Moscow with the Pastors Larry Bradford and Tom Massey presiding.
Burial will be at Moscow Cemetery
in Moscow.

GEORGINA L. RANDOLPH
ELKHART Georgina L. Randolph, 72, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003, at Amarillo Bapist Hospice Care Center in Amarillio, Texas.
She was born July 14, 1930 to Jess and Edith (Yantz) Rankin in Ilysses..
She married Francis E. Randolph May 15, 1948, in Elkhart. He died March 18, 1998.
She had been a long-time resident of Elkhart, and attended Elkhart High ASchool in 1948.
She lived 30 years in Los Alamos, N.M.
She was a bookkeeper and a housewife.
Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, gardening, fishing, and spending time with family.
Survivors include two sons, Ron Randolph and wife, Joyce, Chandler, Ariz., and Craig Randolph and wife, Sharon, McKinney, Texas; one daughter, Rita Mortensen and husband, Larry, Santa Fe, N.M.; one sister, Marjorie Powell, Elkhart; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Marvin Rankin.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart with the Pastor James A. Lucas presiding.
Burial will take place at Elkhart Cemetery
in Elkhart.

MORRIS R. LOUTHAN
PARAMOUNT, Calif. Morris Ray Louthan, 85, died Jan. 3, 2003, at Woodruff Community Conv. Hospital in Long Beach, Calif.
He was born May 19, 1917, to Floy C. and Amanda S. (Handy) Louthan in Kismet.
He maried Ruth "Pauline" Applebee. She survives.
He served in the U.S. Army, and had worked as a department store manager at May Co. Department store.
Other survivors include one son, Stanley Morris Louthan; two daughters, Linda Louise Johnson, and Paula K Shearan; two sisters, Hazel Pitts, and Doris Butcher; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 7 in Cypress Cemetery
in California with the Rev. Earl McCallum presiding, and with full military honors.
JOHN E. WILSON
WICHITA John Edward Wilson, 56, died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003, in Wichita.
He was born Oct. 22, 1946 in Dallas.
He had managed Alco stores in several states, and been a salew associate with Davis-Moore Auto Group.
He had owned the Golden Derrick Restaurant in Liberal for 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Marie, Wichita; three sons, Marc Wilson and wife, Pati, Loveland, Colo., Chris Wilson and wife, Amy, and Matt Wilson and wife, Annete, all of Wichita; one brother, Tom Wilson and wife, Mary Beth, Monument, Colo.; one sister, Colette Bevlaqua and husband, Donovan, Castle Rock, Colo.; one grandson, Andrew, Loveland; and one grandaughter, Molly, Wichita.
Rosary services will be at 7 p.m. today at St. Jude Catholic Church in Wichita.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Jude Catholic Church.

SETH B. HACKER
PLAINS Seth Bennet Francis Hacker, 14, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, in a vehicle accident south of Plains.
He was born Feb. 14, 1988, to Joe Hacker, Jr. and Denise Dorsey in Meade.
He was a freshman at Southwestern Heights High School in Kismet, and was a life-long resident of Plains.
He was a member of "Frog Pond" Christian Youth Group in Plains.
Survivors include his father and mother, both of Plains; one brother, Jeremy Edward Hacker, Plains; one sister, Amanda Horner, Winfield; and his grandfather, Ed Amerin, Copeland.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers; two grandmothers; and one brother, Thomas "Tommy" Hacker.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Southwestern Heights High School in Kismet with the Pastors Dan Bernacki and Jim Dunn presiding.
Burial will be at Plains Cemetery
in Plains.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Fidler-Orme Mortuary in Meade.
