Pattree L. Love, 71, Liberal, died Saturday, June 30, 2001, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced by Miller Mortuary in Liberal.
DALTON D. GEIST
Dalton Dean Geist, 3, died Saturday, June 30, 2001, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita as a result of injuries sustained in a car accident.
He was born Jan. 13, 1998, to Stacey Smith and Gary Geist in Garden City.
He enjoyed playing with his older sister, Summer, and cousins, Landon and Lauren; riding bikes; and going on Jeep rides with his father.
He also enjoyed spending time with "Papa" on the tractor and combine.
Survivors include his mother of Moscow; his father of Liberal; one sister, Summer Stimpson of the home; grandparents, Jim and Toni Smith, Moscow, and Ed and Vedonna Poley, Liberal; great-grandparents, Otis and Skip Patheal, Hugoton, Jeff and Wanda Bean, Moscow, Ray and Arliene Boothby, Texhoma, Okla., and Mildred Geist, Baker, Okla.; great-great-grandparents, Flora Smith, Joplin, Mo., and Ruby Seabolt, Hugoton; one uncle, Travis Smith, Wichita; one aunt, Holly Harp, Liberal; and numerous great-aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by one grandfather, Darrell Dean Geist; and two great-grandfathers, Jack Smith and H.F. Geist.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Southern Baptist Church in Liberal with Pastors Larry Bradford and Leon Lothman presiding.
Burial will follow at Liberal Cemetery
in Liberal.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home in Liberal.

WALLACE E. TINKLER
VALLEY CENTER -- Wallace E. Tinkler, 84, Valley Center, formerly of Liberal, died Friday, June 29, 2001, in Wichita.
He was born Nov. 10, 1916, to Charlie and Mabel Tinkler in Butler County.
He married Nedra Manlove June 9, 1936, in Newkirk, Okla. She survives.
He had been a Liberal resident from 1969 to 1982, and he owned the Golden Derrick. He was retired.
He and his wife moved to Valley Center in 1982.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, where he was a Shriner.
He was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church in Liberal and the First United Methodist Church in Valley Center.
Other survivors include two sons, William E. Tinkler, Stilwell, and James C. Tinkler, San Antonio; one sister, Neva Houston, Liberal; one sister-in-law, Lora Tinkler, Augusta; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, William Tinkler; and one sister, Gay Moreland.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. today at Hillside Funeral Home East in Wichita.
Burial was at Andover Cemetery
in Andover.

NANCY C. ROBERTSON
PARK CITY -- Nancy Carol Robertson, 56, Park City, died Saturday, June 30, 2001, in Wichita.
She was born Sept. 8, 1944, to Mervin and Mildred Elizabeth Skinner in Liberal.
She married Larry Robertson Feb. 27, 1982. He survives.
She was raised in Liberal, and was a maintenance secretary at Cessna in Wichita.
Other survivors include her mother of Cabot, Ark.; one son, Joel Robertson, Freemont, Calif; five daughters, Debbie O'Rear and husband, Doug, Kris Heinz and husband, Mark, all of Valley Center, Michelle O'Rear and husband, Curt, Shelly Malone and husband, Mike, all of Wichita, and Kara Crist and husband, Steve, Lawrenceville, Ga.; one sister, Jeannie Maneth and husband, Marion, Cabot; her father-in-law, Henry Robertson, Oceanside, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren, Eric O'Rear, Jayson O'Rear, Summer O'Rear, Michael Balleau, Stephanie Balleau, Mandy Malone, Ashley Malone, Ryan Crist, Ethan Crist and Jordyn Heinz.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Kechi United Methodist Church in Kechi.
Burial will be at the Kechi Township Cemetery
in Kechi.

JOSEFINA-GARCIA TINOCO
HUGOTON -- Josefina-Garcia Tinoco, 73, Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico, died Sunday, July 1, 2001, at Providence Memorial Hospital in El Paso, Texas.
She was born Aug. 16, 1928, to Crescencio and Margarita (Vargas) Garcia in Morelia.
She married Santiago Tinoco. He preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include seven sons, Jose Tinoco, Jorge Tinoco, Santiago Tinoco, Juan Tinoco, Sergio Tinoco, Martin Tinoco and Arturo Tinoco, all of Hugoton; two daughters, Maria De Jesus Gomez, Morelia, and Maria DeLos Angeles Alfaro, Hugoton; three brothers, Jose Guadalupe Garcia, Cecilio Garcia and Lino Garcia, all of Hugoton; 26 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Monte Santo Pentecostal Holiness Church in Hugoton with Minister Jorge Tinoco presiding.
Burial will be at the Moscow Cemetery
in Moscow.
Visitation will be at the church.
Paul's Funeral Home in Hugoton is in charge of arrangements.
FREDERICK C. YARBROUGH
SATANTA -- Frederick Clark Yarbrough, 89, died Jan. 31, 2001, in Livermore, Calif.
He was born April 29, 1911, in Cowley County.
He married Ruth Swink Sept. 17, 1934, in Hot Springs, Colo. She died Jan. 26, 1997.
He had been a resident of Livermore for many years.
He had been employed as a welder for a construction company in the Bay Area.
His hobbies included fishing and watching baseball.
Survivors include one son, Kent Yarbrough and wife, Nancy, Livermore; six grandchildren, Kristina, Emily and Karol, all of Livermore, Elena Yarbrough, Liberal, Robert Yarbrough, Fargo, N.D., Kimberly Yarbrough Miller, Hugoton; and one great-granddaughter, Akela Clark Miller, Hugoton; one sister-in-law, Jessie Faye Harris, Hugoton; and one niece, Betty Barrows, Hugoton.
He was also preceded in death by one son, Nelson Yarbrough in May of 1996.
Graveside inurnment will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Dudley Township Cemetery
in Satanta.
Cremation has already taken place at the Livermore Crematory at the Callaghan Mortuary.
Paul's Funeral Home in Hugoton is in charge of local arrangements.
NELLIE V. OLGUIN
LA JUNTA, Colo. -- Nellie V. Olguin, 84, La Junta, died Friday, July 6, 2001, at AVR Nursing Care Center in La Junta.
She was born Dec. 27, 1916, to Henry Newton and Fannie (Holbrook) Giles in Carnegie, Okla.
She married Charles Payne July 5, 1940. He preceded her in death.
She married Manuel Olguin June 10, 1984. He also preceded her in death.
She grew up and attended school in Carnegie.
She earned a bachelor's degree at Southwestern Sate College in Weatherford, Okla.
She taught school for 24 years in Carnegie, Walters, Okla., Tyrone, Okla., Yarbrough, Okla., and Spearman, Texas.
She moved to La Junta in 1978.
She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include four sons, Ken Payne, Las Animas, Colo., Charles Payne and wife, Sonya, Tyrone, Gary Payne, Marshalltown, Iowa, and Preston Payne and wife, Pat, Pratt; one daughter-in-law, Diane Payne, La Junta; one brother, Harold Giles, Carnegie; one sister, Althea Bennett, Carnegie; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Byron Payne; and five brothers and sisters.
Graveside services were at 9:30 a.m. today at Fairview Cemetery
in La Junta with Pastors Dennis Welch and Bert Edwards presiding.
