TAMI HEINSON
MEADE -- Tami Heinson, 37, died Thursday, March 9, 2000, at the Meade District Hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident east of Meade on Highway 23.
She was born July 4, 1962, to Salvator and Betty Jean (Demars) Papalia in Rochester, N.Y.
She married David Heinson Aug. 13, 1982, in Liberal. They were later divorced. He survives.
She was active in the Cub Scouts and as a volunteer for the Meade Public School System. She was a homemaker and a resident of Meade for 18 years.
Other survivors include two sons, William Raymond Heinson and James Roy Heinson, Meade; one daughter, Stephanie Rae Heinson, Meade; one step-son, Taylor Heinson, Benton; her mother and step-father, Betty Jean and James Scottow of Rochester, N.Y.; and one brother, Thomas Papalia, Rochester, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church in Meade with the Rev. Lynn Spencer presiding.
Burial will be at the Atwater Cemetery
in rural Meade.
The family suggests memorials to the local scouting program or to the special projects of the Meade public school system in care of Fidler-Orme Mortuary, Box F, 212 South Fowler St., Meade, KS, 67864.
MARY A. FLACK
LIBERAL -- Mary A. Flack, 90, died Friday, March 10, 2000, at the Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
She was born January 30, 1910, to Berry T. and Annie E. Peters in Hemingway, Mo.
She came to Liberal then moved to Springdale, Ariz. for 16 years before returning to Liberal in 1978.
She was a member of the Western Avenue Church of Christ in Liberal.
Survivors include one daughter, Frances Handley and husband, Ray, Liberal; one brother, Franklin Doolin, Dallas, Texas; three sisters, Mabel Cordill, San Jose, Calif.; Opal Diggs, Wilcox, Ariz; Vivian Charolette Dunnham, Kennewick, Wash.; one daughter-in-law, Donita Flack, Turpin, Okla.; nine grandchildren, Cathy Rogers, Claudette Beck, Connine Linnenkamp, Lola Ann Fields, Terry, Gary, Ronnie, David and Daniel Flack; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, three sisters, one son, two daughters and one grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the Western Avenue Church of Christ with Pastor Wade Tannehill presiding.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today, 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and 8-11 a.m. Tuesday.
Burial will be at the Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

BENJAMIN DENMAN
ELKHART -- Benjamin Denman, 88, died Friday, March 10, 2000, at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart.
He was born Dec. 28, 1911, to Elijah and Mary (Roth) Denman in Lindsey, Okla.
He was a resident of Elkhart since 1964 and he was a farmer.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, at the Harrell Chapel in Elkhart with the Rev. Danny Joiner presiding.
Burial will be at in the Tyrone Cemetery
in Tyrone, Okla.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. today at the Harrell Funeral Home in Elkhart.
THELMA M. BROLLIER
CHANDLER, Ariz. -- Thelma M. Brollier, 89, died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at her residence in Chandler.
She was born Jan. 23, 1911, to Clarence and Mary (Smith) Grant in Wichita.
She married Stanley Edgar "Ed" Brollier, Dec. 1, 1928, in Colorado. He died Jan. 14, 1987.
She was a retired county treasurer for Haskell County. She moved from Haskell County to Arkansas and then to Oklahoma City, Okla. In 1981, she moved to Liberal. In recent years, she has lived in Chandler to be near family members.
She was a 60-year member of the Order of Eastern Star of Satanta. She was also a former member of Central Christian Church in Liberal.
She enjoyed quilting, and made 19 quilts in 10 years time, to give to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include one son, Grant E. Brollier and wife, Barbara, Bellevue, Neb.; two daughters, LaVerne E. Sanders and husband, Bill, Tonto Verde, Ariz.; and Elvie Quint and husband, Clarence, Liberal; seven grandchildren, Eugene Quint, Ronald Quint, Rhonda Zimmerman, Maria Abel, Cheryl Reed, Gary Brollier and Karen Brollier; 17 great grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Frank, Clarence, Leo and Gale; one sister, Myrtle Thomas and her husband.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Kitch Funeral Home Chapel in Liberal with the Rev. David Woods presiding.
Burial will follow at the Dudley Cemetery
in Satanta.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday with the family present to receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday.

VIRGINIA M. MASON
HUGOTON -- Virginia M. Mason, 76, died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at her home in Hugoton.
She was born July 26, 1923, to Guy C. and Lena (Price) Kimzey in Hugoton.
She married J.B. Mason, Oct. 17, 1941, in Hugoton. He survives.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and was the church organist for many years.
She was a homemaker and an elementary school secretary for 25 years.
Other survivors include one son, Richard Alan Mason and wife Margaret, Lincoln, Neb.; two sisters, Viola Rogers, Springfield, Ill. and Fern Guyer, Hugoton; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Hugoton with the Rev. Nel Holmes presiding.
Burial will be at the Hugoton Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to the United Methodist Church Organ Fund in Hugoton.
MILLARD DEE "BILL" PETERSON
HUGOTON -- Millard Dee "Bill" Peterson, 65, died Sunday, March 12, 2000, at the Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton.
He was born Dec. 28, 1934, to William Millard and Myrtle Alberta (Harvey) Peterson in Liberal.
He married Mary Lou Slocum, Aug. 28, 1955, in Sublette. She survives.
He was a resident of Hugoton since 1952. He attended school in Kismet and Liberal.
He was a heavy equipment operator for Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line for 15 years and for Peterson Trucking Inc. for 26 years.
He liked to restore old cars and play the guitar. He was very sociable and liked to visit.
Other survivors include two sons, Steven Peterson and wife, Tammie, Hugoton, and Craig Peterson and wife Debi, Hugoton; one daughter, Debbie Hada, Alva, Okla.; two sisters, Betty Morris, Liberal, and Eva McGill, Hugoton; nine grandchildren, Bryce Peterson, Tanae Cox, Chasse Peterson, Ty Peterson, Heath Peterson, Brigan Peterson, Shayla Edwards, Brandon Hada, and Tandi Hada; and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Assembly of God church in Hugoton with the Revs. Robert Bailey, Lee Skelton and John Wright presiding.
Burial will be at the Hugoton Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to Stevens County Hospital.
GEORGIA D. DENNINGTON
WICHITA -- Georgia D. Dennington, 86, died Saturday, March 11, 2000, at the St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.
She was born Sept. 8, 1913, to Hurley Phillip and Oma (Mitchell) McKirahan southwest of Hooker, Okla.
She married Arthur Otto Daugherty May 5, 1934 in Liberal. He died Nov. 8, 1947. She married Otis Lamont Dennington May 20, 1949, in Clayton, N.M. He died Jan. 29, 1983.
She attended the Buffalo School southwest of Hooker and graduated from Goodwell High School in Goodwell, Okla. She taught school in Middlewell and Sunray, Texas, and in Hooker, Tyrone, Okla. and Oklahoma City, Okla.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She had been a resident of Wichita for the past seven months, moving there from Oklahoma City to be near her daughter.
Survivors include her daughter, Naomi Mckee; two granddaughters, Jana L. Griggs and Julie Norrod, all of Wichita; four great-grandchildren, Kyrie McKee, Clayton Norrod, Emily Griggs, and Hannah Griggs; one sister, Estella Schaapveld, Hooker, two nieces, Jeanne Ollinger and Mary Ann Honeman, Hooker; and one nephew, Harold Barrows, Liberal.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, one sister, Mary Cross, and one grandson, Robert Michael McKee.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Hooker with the Rev. Kim Alan Domnick presiding.
Burial will follow at the Hooker Cemetery
under the direction of Roberts Bros. Funeral Home.
