Alexander, Thomas (Tom) Walker, age 87, Coffeyville, died Jan. 3, 2006. He worked in the health care field and later he and his wife were in the management field of Sycamore Landing Apartments. A celebration of his life and memorial service was held Jan. 7 in the First Baptist Church. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the David W. Barnes Funeral Home in Coffeyville.

Bowman, Billy Doyle, age 72, Coffeyville, retired Pharmacist, died June 3, 2006. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy Medical Corp and a tribal member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte, 2 daughters, 2 brothers, 3 sisters and 3 granddaughters. Graveside services were held June 7 in Fairview Cemetery.
Bracken, Merle Lemoin, age 75, Coffeyville, farmer, died June 10, 2006. Graveside services were held June 13 at Spring Hill Cemetery, north of Coffeyville. He is survived by 4 brothers, 2 sisters.

Wilson, James W., age 80, Coffeyville, Pathologist, died May 28, 2006. He served in the US Army Air Corp. He studied at the Oklahoma School of Medicine and was a Board Certified Pathologist. A memorial service is planned later in June under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home. Ashes will be interred at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Alexandria, Va. He is survived by his wife Mary, 5 sons, 1 brother, 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons.
