Services for Margine Dubois, 66, who died Feb. 7, 2000, were held at 2 p.m. Feb. 11, 2000, in the Colonial Chapel of Miles Funeral Service. Burial was in Ninnescah Cemetery
in Udall.
Linda Lackey and Trudy Andes spoke at the service.
Andes sang "Beyond the Sunset," "The Rose" and "Wind Beneath My Wings."
A memorial has been established with the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
James Havens
Services for James Owen Havens, 50, who died Feb. 7, 2000, were held at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 10, 2000, in the Colonial Chapel of Miles Funeral Service. The Rev. Sheila Ratzlaff officiated. Burial was in Burden Cemetery.
Special vocal music included "Amazing Grace" and "Go Rest High on that Mountain."
Casket bearers were Larry DeVore, John Havens, Rick Otto, Steve Otto, Roland Williard, Tom Williard and Wayne Williard.
A memorial has been established with the Burden United Methodist Church.
Helen Adams
WICHITA - Helen C. Adams, 88, a homemaker, of Wichita, died Feb. 12, 2000.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Stalter Cemetery
at Rock. Broadway Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials have been established with SCCS Home Health Care and Hospice Inc. of Derby.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy Adams, and a daughter, Janet Roberts, both of Wichita; a brother, Wayne Wilson, Winfield; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Edna Caffey
Services for Edna V. Caffey, 101, who died Feb. 10, 2000, were held at 2 p.m. Feb. 14 in Swisher-Taylor & Morris Memorial Chapel. The Revs. Diane Massey and Gilbert Daniel officiated. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.
Marilyn Buffum was the organist, and Les Hogue was the vocalist. Music included "How Great Thou Art" and "Beyond the Sunset."
Margaret Massey recited special memories.
Casket bearers were her nephews.

Barbara Dobbs
Services for Barbara Jean Dobbs, 71, who died Feb. 9, 2000, were held at 2 p.m. Feb. 12 at the First Church of the Nazarene. The Revs. Jeff Fletcher and Stan Meek officiated. Burial was in Tisdale Cemetery.
Ruth Butcher was the organist. Vocal music included "In the Garden," sung by Wayne Bodkins, and "How Great Thou Art," recorded by Elvis Presley. The congregation sang "Amazing Grace."
Casket bearers were Ron, Larry, Dennis, Roger, Dale and Chad Dobbs and Chuck Mazzoni.
Memorials have been established with the First Church of the Nazarene and the National Scleraderma Association.
Miles Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
Matilda Huddle
CEDAR VALE - Services for Matilda Huddle, 93, who died Feb. 9, 2000, were held at 2 p.m. Feb. 12 at Wheeler Funeral Home in Cedar Vale. The Rev. Joe Thomas officiated, and burial was in Round Mound Cemetery.
The County Line Singers, accompanied by Shirley Brown, provided the music.
Huddle's grandsons were the casket bearers.
A memorial has been established with the Maude Carpenter Children's Home.
Mickey Williams
GRAINOLA, Okla. - Services for Morgan Lewis "Mickey" Williams, 87, who died Feb. 10, 2000, were held at 10 a.m. Feb. 12 at the United Methodist Church in Grainola. Burial was in Cedar Creek Cemetery.
Ray Johnston was the pianist, and Jim Atherton sang "On Eagle's Wings" and "How Great Thou Art."
Honorary casket bearers were Richard, David, Danny, Schyler and Gordon Williams and Lee Pontious.
Casket bearers were John Pontious, Clay Julien, Mark Rice, Nathan and Ryan Williams and Leslie and Darrell Cooley.
A memorial has been established with the Grainola United Methodist Church.

Tony Isbell
Charles D. "Tony" Isbell, 80, of Good Samaritan Village in Winfield, died Feb. 10, 2000, at William Newton Memorial Hospital.
Cremation has taken place. No service will be held. Swisher-Taylor & Morris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Isbell was born Oct. 20, 1919, in Stegall, Ariz., to Frank Willis and Evalyn Anna (Kohl) Isbell.
He served in the U.S. Navy as chief cook from 1936 to 1956. He retired from Bada Steel as a supervisor and moved to Winfield to be near his brothers.
Isbell was a member of Lodge 199 of Ancient Free & Accepted Masons in Colonial Beach, Va., and American Legion Post 10 Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3544 and Alcoholics Anonymous, both of Winfield.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mildred Isbell, and a stepniece, Cheryl Floyd, both of Winfield; a half-sister, Phyllis Hausman, Godfrey, Ill.; a stepsister, Doris Walker, Alton, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
Bobby Carson
GREAT BEND - Bobby Glen Carson, 68, of Great Bend, died Feb. 15, 2000, in Wichita.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Fryberger Mortuary in Great Bend and at 1 p.m. Saturday in Oak Hill Cemetery
at Chautauqua. Full military rites will be provided by a U.S. Army contingent from Fort Riley.
Friends may call at the funeral home until 9 tonight. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to service time Friday.
Memorials have been established with the Veterans Administration Volunteer Services, Disabled American Veterans and American Cancer Society.
Carson, a longtime resident of Great Bend, was born March 18, 1931, in Oklahoma City, to Russell Augusta and Ella Pearl (Smith) Carson. He attended Great Bend schools. During the Korean War he served in the U.S. Army.
On Feb. 18, 1955, he married Phyllis Marie Ratlief in Medicine Lodge.
Carson was a roughneck in the oil fields and was a trailer house builder at Marlette Coach in Great Bend.
He was a member of the Church of Christ of Hutchinson, Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Carson, Great Bend; two sons, Bobby Ray Carson, Great Bend, and Clifford Lynn Carson, Lansing; a daughter, Christine Ann McNown, Moline; his mother, Ella Carson, Great Bend; two brothers, George Carson, Hoisington, and Russell Carson, Great Bend; a sister, Nona Manning, Ellinwood; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
