SALINA - Anna T. Maneth Hawk, 92, died June 24 at Salina Regional Health Center. She was born Oct. 23, 1908, in Olmitz. She married
Lawrence Hawk Nov. 20, 1934. He died in 1980. A resident of Salina, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Hawk was a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral, and Ladies Guild, both of Salina. Survivors include one son, Lawrence Hawk of Marysville, Wash.; two daughters, Theresa Gerstner of Las Vegas, Nev., and Shirley Briley of Littleton, Colo.; one brother, Leonard Maneth of Olmitz; one sister, Racie Butterfield of Fresno, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. Rosary service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Geisendorf-Rush Smith Funeral Home in Salina, and from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Joanne M. Dranselka 1932-2001
Joanne M. Dranselka, 69, of Great Bend, died June 23 at Hillsboro Community Medical Center in Hillsboro. She was born Jan. 13, 1932, in Souris, N.D., the daughter of Oscar M. and Gina Brenden Aftem. She married
Melvin L. Dranselka Feb. 28, 1953, in Milaca, Minn. He died Aug. 26, 1988. A resident of Hillsboro for seven months, coming from Great Bend, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Dranselka was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend. Survivors include one daughter, Tracy L. Dranselka of Wichita; three brothers, Merle Aftem and Lee Aftem, both of Minot, N.D., and Danny Aftem of Westhope, N.D.; and one sister, Gloria Kent of Boise, Idaho. She was preceded in death by one infant daughter. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with the Rev. Dr. Gary W. Teske officiating. Susanna Caroline Schloctermeier 1910-2001
ELLINWOOD Susanna Caroline Schloctermeier, 91, died Sept. 21, at Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood. She was born March 3, 1910, in Odin, the daughter of John and Clara Debes. She married
Pete F. Schloctermeier Oct. 18, 1933, in Ellinwood. He died March 14, 1984. A longtime resident of Ellinwood, she was a homemaker.
Mrs. Schloctermeier was a member of St. Joseph s Catholic Church and Altar Society, both of Ellinwood, and the Stafford County Historical Society.
Survivors include two sons, Edward J. Schloctermeier and Paul G. Schloctermeier, both of Ellinwood; one daughter, Clara Lee Schloctermeier of Kinsley; two sisters, Minnie Felke of Kansas City, Mo., and Helen Johns of Denver, Colo., four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Altar Society Rosary will be at 3 p.m. today with a Vigil service at 7 p.m., both at Kimple Funeral Home in Ellinwood. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. David Flagor officiating. Burial will be at Lakin-Comanche District cemetery in Ellinwood. Friends may call from 1-8 p.m. today, at the Funeral Home in Ellinwood. Holly Kae Shryock 1965-2001
UDALL Holly Kae Shryock, 35, died Sept. 21, as a result of a car accident. She was born Dec. 10, 1965, in Dumus Texas, the daughter of Harvey Raymond Sr. and Shirley Bowen Bonner. She attended Larned school district. A resident of Udall, coming from Larned and Great Bend, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Candace Shryock and Breeona Shryock, both of the home; her parents, Shirley and Robert Nelson of Udall, and Raymond Bonner Sr. of Dumas; two brothers, Ray Bonner Jr. of Wichita, and Norman Bonner of Udall; two sisters, Kim Saenz of Wichita and Sherrie Brough of Garden City; and her grandparents, Howard and Allie Mae Bowen of Sunray, Texas.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, at First Baptist Church in Udall. Burial will be at Valley Cemetery, northwest of Udall. Memorials are suggested to Cowley County Humane Society, in care of Miles Funeral Home .
Martha Charlotte Moos 1912-2001
Martha Charlotte Moos, 89, died Sept. 20 at Delmar Gardens Nursing Center in Lenexa. She was born July 20, 1912, in Brownell, the daughter of Wallace and Lottie Fuller. She married
Oscar Barnes. He preceded her in death. She married
Louis Moos March 3, 1959, in Larned. A longtime resident of Macksville, she was a nurses aide at Larned State Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, of Delmar Gardens Nursing Center; three sons, Eugene Barnes of Montgomery Texas, Howard Barnes of Yarmouth Port, Mass. and Dean Barnes of Garland, Texas; three daughters, Shirley Welch of Lawrence, Betty Barnes of Monroe City, Mo., and Velma Brison of El Dorado; two sisters, Juanita Sromich of San Antonio, Texas, Lavon Messerlain of Fresno, Calif.; 19 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Brownell cemetery in Brownell. Memorials are suggested to Bristol Hill United Methodist Church in Kansas City, in care of Amos Funeral Home in Shawnee.

HUTCHINSON - Helen C. Hallman, 95, died June 23 at Dillon Living Center in Hutchinson. She was born April 13, 1906, in Elmdale, the daughter of Duncan A. and Maude Triplett Macalpine. She married
Walter A. Hallman June 8, 1940, in Hudson. He died Dec. 15, 1989. A resident of Hutchinson since 1945, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Hallman was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hutchinson. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret I. Starkey. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. today at Trinity cemetery in Hudson, with the Rev. Rufina Suppes, 72, of Great Bend, died June 21 at Via Christi-St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita. She was born Nov. 20, 1928, at Munjor, the daughter of Frank and Alice Kreutzer Graf. She married
Reinhold J. Suppes Aug. 9, 1949, at Hays. A resident of Great Bend since 1988, coming from Bazine, she was a homemaker and farmed with her husband until retirement in 1988. Mrs. Suppes was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and St. Patrick Altar Society, both of Great Bend. Survivors include her husband of the home; three sons, Stephen Suppes, David Suppes and Paul Suppes, all of Great Bend; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Graf. Altar Society rosary will be at 4 p.m. and a vigil service at 7 p.m., both today at Bryant-Christians Funeral Home in Great Bend.. SALINA - The Rev. Carroll S. Blomberg, 77, died June 22. He was born May 19, 1924, at Clifton. A resident of Salina, he was a retired machinist for Roberts Industries of Salina. Blomberg was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Lillian of the home; two daughters, Connie Toburen of Great Bend and Carolyn Hull of Topeka; one brother, David Blomberg of Clay Center; one sister, Myrtle Baxter of Clay Center; and five grandsons. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First Church of the Nazarene in Salina. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park in Salina. Helen Evelyn Homolka 1909-2001
HOLYROOD - Helen Evelyn Homolka, 91, died June 21 at her residence in rural Holyrood. She was born Sept. 19, 1909 in Barton County, the daughter of James L. and Anna Marie Jezek Homolka. She was a graduate of the University of Kansas. A resident of rural Holyrood, coming from Claflin and Lawrence, she was a food service worker on the KU campus for 10 years. She was a member of United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, UMW and helped start the 55 Plus Transportation and Meals on Wheels, all in Claflin. She was preceded in death by one brother, James J. Homolka; three sisters, Emma Homolka, Rose Buddenbohm and an infant sister. Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church in Claflin with the Rev. Janet Myers officiating. Inurnment will be at Palacky cemetery in rural Holyrood. The body was cremated. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church. Ronald G. Lawson 1938-2001
HUTCHINSON - Ronald G. Lawson, 62, died June 21 at his residence in Hutchinson. He was born Oct. 10, 1938, at Shawnee, Okla., the son of Vinton Harold and Lula Mae Bryant Lawson. He was a 1956 graduate of Great Bend High School and attended Salt City Business College and Hutchinson Community College. He married
Beth Bailey June 27, 1958. A resident of Hutchinson since 1959, he worked for Gordan Ray Motor Company and DMH. He was director of physician services for Halstead Hospital and Hertzler Clinic. Lawson was a member of the Countryside Baptist Church, World Vision and Mission Aviation fellowship and was an active supporter of Christian missions through the church's jail ministry. Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, Steven Lawson of Hutchinson; one daughter, Debra Stack of Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, Harold Lawson of Dewey, Ariz., and two grandchildren. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Dusty Cowell officiating. Private committal will precede the memorial service. CLAFLIN - Helen K. Foster, 84, died June 22 at Kansas Heart Hospital at Wichita. She was born Dec. 19, 1916, at Claflin, the daughter of Carl E. and Lula Grossardt Radenberg. She married
Harry C. Foster April 26, 1939, at Claflin. A lifelong resident of the Claflin area, she was a homemaker and a teacher in a one-room school. Mrs. Foster was a member of United Methodist Church, 4-H leader, Sunday school teacher, all of Claflin; and a tutor at the Claflin schools. Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons, James A. Foster of Salina and Jack E. Foster of Leawood; two daughters, Virginia Sayler of Lawrence and Marilyn Kirk of Evanston, Ill.; one brother, Glenn Radenberg of Claflin; two sisters, Norma Stucky of Newton and Dorothy Tritsch of Claflin; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers; Harry Radenberg and Edwin Lee Radenberg; and one granddaughter, Karen Elaine Sayler. Austin M. Linke Aug. 1, 1933, at Hutchinson. He died Aug. 9, 1993. A resident of Lyons since 1993 coming from Chase, she was a homemaker. Mrs. Linke was a member of Community Presbyterian Church in Chase. Survivors include two sons; Gerald Linke of Geneseo and Ralph Linke of Chase; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jeanette Linke. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Chase Springdale cemetery with Johnnie Hardie officiating.
