Ethel Dorothy Kleck, 91, died April 3 at Topeka.

Keith E. Moore 1936-2000
MOUNT HOPE - Keith E. Moore, 64, died April 3 at Hutchinson Hospital. He
was born Oct. 28, 1936, at Spearville, the son of Jess and Jessie Hartman
Moore. He married
Pauline Pessetto Aug. 28, 1960, at Hutchinson. He
attended Mount Hope High School. A lifetime resident of Mount Hope, he
worked in maintenance for Kansas Department of Transportation, retiring
June 1998.
He was a volunteer fireman for Mount Hope.
Survivors include his wife of the home; and one brother, William Frank
Moore of Bushton.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fairlawn Burial Park in
Hutchinson with the Rev. Robert Brown officiating. Friends may call from 9
a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson and Sons Funeral Home in Hutchinson.
Memorials are suggested to Mount Hope Ambulance Fund or Mount Hope Library,
both in care of the funeral home.

William J. 'Bill' Haney 1923-2000
CLAFLIN - William J. "Bill" Haney, 76, died April 3 at Ellinwood District
Hospital in Ellinwood. He was born July 15, 1923, at Great Bend, the son of
Bruce and Rossa Sloniger Haney. He married
Wanda L. Eggers Jan. 16, 1946,
at Claflin. A lifetime resident of the Claflin area, he was an oilfield
pumper for NCRA at Hitschmann, retiring after 34 years.
Haney was a member of Claflin United Methodist Church and a lifetime member
of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, Mitch Haney of Great Bend;
one daughter, Karla Brown of Pratt; and five grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bryant-Christians Funeral Home in
Great Bend with the Rev. William F. Johnson officiating. Burial will be at
Claflin cemetery in Claflin. Friends may call until 9 tonight and from 9
a.m. to service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested
to B-29 Memorial or Relay for Life, both in care of the funeral home.

Sophia T. Feist 1913-2000
CLAFLIN - Sophia T. Feist, 86, died April 3 at Plaza West Regional Health
Center in Topeka. She was born Sept. 17, 1913, at Claflin, the daughter of
Joseph E. and Anna Wolfel Reif. She married
Anthony "Tony" J. Feist Nov.
29, 1939, at Claflin. He died Oct. 17, 1980. A lifetime resident of Claflin
before moving to Topeka in 1997, she was a homemaker.
Mrs. Feist was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Altar
Society, both of Claflin.
Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Ann Geer and Helen Wiedle, both of
Topeka; two sisters, Rose Magie of Great Bend and Margaret Hirsh of
Wichita; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in
death by two brothers, Frank Reif and Joseph Reif; and three sisters, Mary
Oberle, Anna Reif and Teresa Boman.
Altar Society rosary will be at 3 p.m. today with a vigil service at 7:30
p.m. tonight at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home in Hoisington. Funeral will be
at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. David Flagor
officiating. Burial will be at Claflin cemetery in Claflin. Friends may
call until 9 tonight at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to
Claflin Ambulance Service, in care of the funeral home.

Chester L. Smith, 75, died April 3 at Hospice Residential Care Center,
Hutchinson Hospital in Hutchinson.

Ruby Rebecca Dooley 1913-2000
KATY, Texas - Ruby Rebecca Dooley, 86, died March 3 in Texas. She was born
June 27, 1913, at Galatia, the daughter of Thomas Logan and Alice Ruth
Tullis Brown. She married
Lambert Lee Dooley June 9, 1943, at Fresno,
Calif. He preceded her in death. A resident of Katy, coming from Tomball,
Texas, she was a retired school teacher.
Mrs. Dooley was a member of Golden Sheaf Chapter 226 in Great Bend.
Survivors include one son, Thomas Lee Dooley of Katy; one daughter, Alice
Ruth Dooley of Houston, Texas; one brother, Paul W. Brown of Manhattan; and
two grandchildren.
Funeral was held in Tomball. Burial was at Klein Memorial Park in Tomball.
Memorials are suggested to donor's choice, in care of Klein Funeral Home in
Tomball.

Dwight W. 'Nobby' Noblitt 1915-2000
HUTCHINSON - Dwight W. "Nobby" Noblitt, 85, died April 1 at Mennonite
Friendship Manor in South Hutchinson. He was born Feb. 15, 1915, at
Brookline Station, Mo., the son of George William and Treasia Alma Lloyd
Noblitt. He married
Letha Elinor Barnes Jan. 12, 1957, at Hutchinson. A
longtime resident of Hutchinson, he had worked for the Great Bend Tribune
and Hutchinson News as a chief linetype machinist from 1943-1980.
Noblitt was a member of Hutchinson-Reno Masonic Lodge 243 AF and AM,
Hutchinson Typographical Local 243 and Ostomy Club, all of Hutchinson. He
was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran.
Survivors include his wife of the home; three daughters, Jeanne McCandless
of Tulsa, Okla., Carol L. Kregstad of Dresser, Wis., and Cynthia Ortego of
Hutchinson; one stepson, Edward L. Field of Topeka; two halfbrothers, Don
Noblitt of Great Bend and Robert Noblitt of Colorado Springs, Colo.; nine
grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one
brother, Jack Noblitt; two halfbrothers, George Noblitt and David Noblitt;
two sisters, Edna Schreiber and Georgeanna Margheim; and one stepson,
Randall Field.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel in
Hutchinson with the Rev. Alan D. Stambaugh officiating. Burial will be at
Memorial Park cemetery in Hutchinson. Friends may call from 5-9 tonight and
5-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Tenth
Avenue Methodist Church or Hospice of Reno County, both in care of the
funeral home.

Gordon Dimmitt 1942-2000
MARIETTA, Ga. - Gordon Dimmitt, 57, died April 1 at Marietta. He was born
Sept. 28, 1942, the son of Ira Gordon and Mary Leona West Dimmitt. He
married Karen Lee Ziegler, formerly of Great Bend. He was a resident of
Marietta, having come from Springfield, Mo.
Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, Tad Arron Dimmitt of
Marietta; his mother of Springfield; two brothers, Bobby Dimmitt of
Everton, Mo., and Michael Dimmitt of Ozark, Mo.; and three sisters, Joyce
Strader and Patty Elkins, both of Springfield, and Barbara Jarrell of
Newton.
Funeral will be Wednesday at Patterson and Son Funeral Home in Marietta.
Cremation will follow.

Betty Lou Storm 1928-2000
LA CROSSE - Betty Lou Storm, 71, died April 1 at La Crosse. She was born
July 18, 1928, at La Crosse, the daughter of Richard J. and Edith C.
Linenberger Storm. A resident of Rush County for most of her life, she was
a clerk at Fort Hays State University, La Crosse City Office and for many
years had owned a craft store in La Crosse.
She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Chamber of Commerce,
Board of Directors for Locust Grove Assisted Living and League of
Municipalities in La Crosse. She had been a volunteer in many community
organizations.
Survivors include one daughter, Barbara S. Misegadis of La Crosse; one
brother, Richard "Don" Storm of Hutchinson; one sister, Norma A. Rothe of
Salina; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Rosary will be at 7 tonight at Janousek Funeral Home in La Crosse. Funeral
will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev. Benjamin Martin
officiating. Friends may call until 9 tonight at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Rush County EMT or Locust Grove, in care of the

Edwin August 'Eddie' Stremel 1927-2000
Edwin August "Eddie" Stremel, 72, died March 31 at Central Kansas Medical
Center, St. Rose Campus, in Great Bend. He was born May 24, 1927, at
Loretta, the son of Adam and Catherine Wasinger Stremel. He married
Lillian
M. Pfannenstiel Aug. 16, 1948, at Munjor. A resident of Great Bend since
1966, coming from Loretta, he owned and operated Eddie Stremel Oil Service
and Repair. After retiring in 1996, he farmed.
Stremel was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and Knights of
Columbus, both in Great Bend.
Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons, Nick Stremel of Albert
and Sam Stremel of Great Bend; three daughters, Margie Linsner of Wichita,
Patti Denson of Knoxville, Tenn., and Vicki Gregory of Nashville, Tenn.;
two sisters, Mary Richmier of Hill City and Ann Heronema of Andrews, Texas;
13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death
by seven brothers, Ben Stremel, W.J. Stremel, Andrew Stremel, Leo Stremel,
Aloysius Stremel, Simplicious Stremel and Leonard Stremel; and three
sisters, Beata Wasinger, Sister Caroletta Stremel and Anna Stremel.
Vigil service will be at 7 tonight followed by a Knights of Columbus
rosary. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev.
Charles Mazouch officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in
Great Bend. Friends may call from 1-9 p.m. today at Bryant-Christians
Funeral Home in Great Bend. Memorials are suggested to the church, in care
