Ardise Fisk Greenlee
Ardise Fisk Greenlee, 95, died March 23 at Cherry Village Nursing Home in
Great Bend. She was born July 12, 1904, in Claflin, the daughter of Emmett
T. and Margaret Fisk Greenlee. A lifetime resident of Barton County, she
was a former school teacher.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women's
Club, Retired Teachers Association, RSVP, Portia Club and Order of the
Eastern Star.
Survivors include two nephews, Richard M. Greenlee of Bella Vista, Ark.,
and Jim Greenlee of Wausau, Wis.; and two nieces, Kathy Greenlee and Kelly
Greenlee, both of Stelle, Ill. She was preceded in death by one brother,
Maurice Greenlee.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bryant-Christians Chapel in Great Bend
with the Rev. Dick Near officiating. Burial will be at Great Bend Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials are
suggested to the church, in care of the funeral home.

Harry Hergenreter 1913-2000
OTIS - Harry Hergenreter, 86, died March 22 at Plaza West Regional Health
Center in Topeka. He was born May 7, 1913, at Lincoln, Neb., the son of
Conrad and Magdelena Hinkle Hergenreter. He married
Ida M. Rodie May 20,
1945, at Otis. She died July 28, 1989. A lifetime resident of Otis,
residing in Topeka for the past two years, he was a farmer.
Hergenreter was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Otis.
Survivors include one brother, Victor Hergenreter of Kansas City; and one
sister, Esther Bell of Denver, Colo. He was preceded in death by an infant
daughter, Marlene Hergenreter; one brother, William Hergenreter; and one
sister, Lydia Caviness.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Margaret
Gary officiating. Burial will be at Lutheran cemetery in Otis. Friends may
call until 9 tonight at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home in Hoisington and 11
a.m. to service time Saturday at the church. Memorials are suggested to
Otis Ambulance Service, in care of the funeral home.

Norman E. Schneider 1937-2000
RUSSELL - Norman E. Schneider, 62, died March 21 at Russell Regional
Hospital in Russell. He was born July 30, 1937, at Trego County, the son of
Adam George and Armalia S. Eiring Schneider. He married
Thyra Reeder Sept.
2, 1956, at WaKeeney. She died March 24, 1995. A resident of Russell for
the past year, coming from Ransom, he was a farmer and stockman.
Schneider was a member of Eagles Lodge in WaKeeney.
Survivors include two sons, Tom Schneider of Abilene and Tim Schneider of
Salina; two daughters, Tamera Rogers of Hays and Lynette Steckline of
WaKeeney; one brother, Vern Schneider of Fort Collins, Colo.; and 11
grandchildren.
Inurnment will be later. Great Bend Family Mortuary and Crematory in Great
Bend is in charge of arrangements.

Helen I. Marchand 1908-2000
Helen I. Marchand, 91, died today at Integrated Health Services in Great
Bend. Survivors and funeral arrangements will be announced by
Bryant-Christians Funeral Home in Great Bend.

Paul Clinton Radke 1926-2000
CLAFLIN - Paul Clinton Radke, 73, died March 3 at his home. He was born
Oct. 19, 1926, at Hoisington, the son of Paul B. and Clara E. Brack Radke.
He was a graduate of Hoisington High School in Hoisington and Emporia State
Teachers College in Emporia. A resident of Claflin since 1986, coming from
Indianola, Neb., he was a retired roustabout and pumper for Amoco
Production Company.
Radke was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church of Hoisington. He was a
U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II.
Survivors include three brothers, Norma Radke of Lindsborg, Allan Radke of
Pinedale, Wyo., and Bill E. Radke of Hoisington. He was preceded in death
by one brother, John Radke.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home in
Hoisington with the Rev. Garry Dassow officiating. Burial will be at
Hoisington cemetery in Hoisington. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday and 9 am. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. The
casket will remain closed. Memorials are suggested to the church, in care
of the funeral home.

Toni Renee Lund 1961-2000
LARNED - Toni Renee Lund, 38, died March 19 at Springfield, Ore. Due to
incorrect information received, her last name and the name of the minister
were incorrect.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel in Larned
with the Rev. Dan Lundgren officiating.

Eugene J. Jurgensmeier 1928-2000
HIAWATHA - Eugene J. Jurgensmeier, 72, died March 9 at Hiawatha Community
Hospital in Hiawatha. He was born Feb. 27, 1928, at Auburn, Neb., the son
of Bernard and Helena Riemann Jurgensmeier. He married
Joan L. Reschke, May
25, 1949, at Fidelity Church. He attended St. Augustine Catholic School,
south of Sebetha and attended school in Fairview, graduating from high
school, class of 1945. A resident of Hiawatha, coming from the Fidelity
area, he was a farmer and stockman until retiring in 1999. He had also
worked as a meat cutter, plumber, in construction and carpentry. After
retiring, he worked at Peterson Seed in Hiawatha.
Jurgensmeier was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church at Fidelity,
having served on various church committees; former member of BPOE 1741
Hiawatha Elks Lodge; life member of Sabetha Veterans of Foreign Wars Post
7285; charter member of American Legion Post 322 in Fairview, serving as
secretary and adjunctant; and Eagle Lodge at Auburn, Neb. He was a U.S.
Army veteran, serving during the Korean War as an infantryman.
Survivors include his wife of the home; five sons, Stephen Jurgensmeier of
rural Hiawatha, Charles Jurgensmeier of Bennington, James Jurgensmeier of
Salina, Patrick Jurgensmeier of Fairview and John Jurgensmeier of San Jose,
Calif.; two daughters, Kathleen Jurgensmeier of Hoisington and Karen
Jurgensmeier of Platteville, Colo.; three brothers, Raymond Jurgensmeier
and Leo Jurgensmeier, both of Fairview and Leroy Jurgensmeier of Topeka;
five sisters, Evelyn Suther of Wetmore, Viola Peters of Overland Park,
Berniece Newman of Albuquerque, N.M., Helen Skinner of Fairview and Lois
Bindel of Sabetha; and 10 grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with the
Rev. Donald Redmond officiating. The body will lie in state prior to
service time, Saturday at the church. Burial will be at the church cemetery
with military graveside services provided by Fairview American Legion Post
322. Memorials are suggested to the church memorial fund or Ronald McDonald
House, both in care of Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hiawatha.

Toni Renee Learned 1961-2000
LARNED - Toni Renee Learned, 38, died March 19 at Springfield, Ore. She
was born Nov. 30, 1961, at Larned, the daughter of Gary R. and Delores Maye
Lawrence Murray. A resident of Springfield since 1977, coming from
Ellinwood, she was an inventory clerk for Washington Inventory Service in
Springfield.
She was a past member of United Methodist Church of Larned.
Survivors include longtime companion, Sai Montgomery of Springfield; one
daughter, Tanya K. Lund of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; her mother, Dee Kelly and
stepfather, Al Kelly, both of Stafford; one brother, Gary D. Murray of
Larned; one sister, Terri Lynn Boorman of Klamath Falls, Ore.; stepbrother,
Randy Kelly of Everett, Wash.; and one grandmother, Maxine Murray of
Larned.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel in Larned
with the Rev. Jerry Leever officiating. Burial will be at Brown's Grove
Cemetery in Burdett. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to service time Friday at
the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to American Diabetes Association,
in care of the funeral home.

Agnes M. Offutt 1897-2000
UTICA - Agnes M. Offutt, 102, died March 20 at Gove County Hospital in
Quinter. She was born March 23, 1897, at Pleasanton, the daughter of Martin
Luther and Martha Moore Harmon. She married
Irvin Samuel Offutt Sept. 23,
1914, at La Crosse. He died July 23, 1967. A resident of Utica since 1936,
she was a homemaker.
Mrs. Offutt was a member of First Christian Church and Rebekah Lodge, both
of Utica.
Survivors include three sons, George Offutt of La Crosse; Irvin Offutt Jr.,
of Crockett, Texas, and Frank Offutt of Utica; four daughters, Alberta
Mausolf of Albert, Ruth Holopirek of La Crosse, and Edith Hicks and Lucille
Downs, both of Decatur, Ill.; one sister, Gladys Juvenal of Bison; 40
grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren; and 50 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Glen Offutt, in 1957; three
grandsons; and one great-great-grandson.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church with the Revs. Michael
Grogan and Kerry Grogan officiating. Burial will be at Utica Cemetery.
Friends may call until 9 tonight and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and
Thursday, all at Fitzgerald Funeral Home in Ness City, and until service
time Friday at the church. Family visitation will be from 7-8:30 p.m.

SARATOGA, Calif. - Anna Lillian Graves, 82, died March 20 at Mission Oakes
