AFTON, Tenn. — Arthur Alberto Crow, 97, formerly of Pittsburg, Kan., passed away Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003. He was a former gas company employee.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Highland Park Cemetery, Pittsburg. Arrangements are under the direction of Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, Pittsburg.

AFTON, Tenn. — Michael A. Crow, 58, formerly of Pittsburg, Kan., passed away Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003. He was employed by Honeywell, Inc.

Sandra S. Crowe
AFTON, Tenn. — Sandra S. Crow, 59, formerly of Pittsburg, Kan., passed away Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003. She was a benefit coordinator.

Martin A. Spritzer
GUNNISON, Colo. — Martin Anthony “Tench” Spritzer, 97, formerly of Frontenac, Kan., passed away Sunday, Feb. 2, 2003. He was the retired owner of Vacca Bakery.
Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Frontenac. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Friskel Funeral Home, Frontenac, followed by visitation.
Patrick J. McNeill
FRONTENAC, Kan. — Patrick “Pat” J. McNeill Jr., 93, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2003.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Frontenac. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Friskel Funeral Home. Rosary will be at 2 p.m.
Danny Elliott
OSWEGO, Kan. — Joseph D. "Danny" Elliott, 42, 109 Oregon St., died at 12:36 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, 1997, at his home after a long illness.
Mr. Elliott was born Jan. 23, 1955, at Oswego.
He graduated in 1973 from Oswego High School.
He was a longtime Oswego resident.
He was a police officer and assistant chief the last 17 years for the city of Oswego.
He graduated from the Kansas Law Enforcement Academy at Hutchinson.
He was also an automobile detailer.
The Oswego mayor has declared Tuesday as "Danny Elliott Day."
He was a member of the Oswego Assembly of God Church.
He married
Pam Holding on Jan. 18, 1975, at Oswego.
She survives.
Also surviving are a son, Greg Elliott, Wichita; a daughter, Misty Elliott, of the home; his mother, Norma Elliott, Oswego; two brothers, David Elliott, Claremore, Okla., and George Elliott, Oswego; and three sisters, Roberta Hobbs and Rebecca George, both of Oswego, and Edna Pichler, South Coffeyville, Okla.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Oswego Assembly of God Church.
The Rev. Chuck Kackley will officiate.
Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, rural Oswego.
Pallbearers will be Labette County Sheriff's Department deputies and Oswego city police officers.
Family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Murdock Funeral Home, Oswego.
Contributions may be made to the Family Life Center building fund at the Oswego Assembly of God Church.
Beulah Briggs
OSWEGO, Kan. - Beulah M. Briggs, 97, Oswego, died at 6:15 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 1998, at St. John's Regional Medical Center, Joplin, after a long illness.
Mrs. Briggs was born Nov. 23, 1900, at Hallowell, where she grew up and attended school.
She moved to Oswego in 1952.
She was a telegraph operator for the Missouri Pacific Railroad.
She was a member of Oswego Christian Church and the Cornerstone Sunday school class.
She married
Ernest H. Briggs on Jan. 27, 1923, at Kansas City, Mo.
He died April 26, 1964.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter.
Survivors include a son, Robert Briggs, Washington, D.C.; three daughters, Gwidacq Johnson, Valley Center, Kan., Betty Green, Central Valley, Calif., and Shirley White, Bonham, Texas; a sister, Wilma Kinch, Pittsburg; 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Oswego Christian Church, with Boyce Mouton, minister, officiating.
Burial will be in McKee Cemetery, north of Hallowell.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at at Murdock Funeral Home, Oswego.
Contributions may be made to Oswego Christian Church or Oswego Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
Dollie Frank
COLUMBUS, Kan. - Dollie Geneva Frank, 85, 8551 SW 20th St., died at 4:20 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998, at Baptist Regional Health Center, Miami, Okla., after an illness.
Mrs. Frank was born June 18, 1912, in Cherokee County.
She lived in the rural Columbus area her entire life.
She was a carrier for The Joplin Globe for several years and was a homemaker.
She was later a caregiver for elderly adults in their homes.
She was a member of Keelville Church, east of Melrose.
She married
Charles Elliott "Dutch" Frank on Oct. 21, 1932.
He died July 24, 1968.
Survivors include three sons, Charles Frank, Darrell Frank and Richard Frank, all of rural Columbus; a brother, Raymond Earl Rich, rural Miami; three step-grandchildren, six great-grand-children and a great-great grandchild.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Keelville Church, with the Rev. Wilma Heavin and the Rev. Bob Martin officiating.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, northwest of Treece.
Pallbearers will be Tim Alsbaugh, Phillip Alsbaugh, Paul Westerbelt, Ronnie Johnson, Fonda Cudney and J.D. Fry.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Picher, Okla.
Contributions may be made to the Center Christian Church Building Fund, in care of the funeral home.
Geneva Amos
LOWELL, Kan. — Geneva May Weaver Amos, 85, Lowell, died at 3 a.m. Sunday, June 28, 1998, at St. John's Regional Medical Center, Joplin, Mo., after an illness.
Mrs. Amos was born Oct. 14, 1912, at Centertown, Mo.
She moved to the Webb City and Carl Junction, Mo., areas for a time before moving to Northeast Oklahoma.
She attended school in Commerce, Okla.
She and her husband worked in the hearing aid business from 1968 to 1988.
She lived in the Keelville community, Columbus route 4, from 1968 until April 21, 1992, when she and her husband moved to Spring River Christian Village, Joplin.
She was a member of Center Christian Church, rural Columbus, for more than 65 years.
She married
Vernon Amos on June 6, 1932, in Joplin.
He died May 2, 1994.
Survivors include two sons, Howard Neil Amos, Sun City, Calif., and Albert V. Amos, Miami, Okla.; a brother, Calvin Weaver, Chicago, Ill.; two sisters, Alma Ehrhart, Charlotte, N.C., and Marie Beech, Leesburg, Fla.; eight grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Center Christian Church, rural Columbus.
The Rev. Bob Martin will officiate.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, southwest of Columbus.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Murdock Funeral Home, Columbus.
