GERALDINE KOERNER died July 4, 2013 at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS at the age of 94. She was born on February 2, 1919 in Waldo, KS the daughter of Arthur and Lona (Stiverson) Case.
Geraldine was raised in the Ladysmith Community and attended 4 Mile country school. She married
Irvine Koerner on October 21, 1935. Geraldine worked as a welder in Hutchinson and Wichita during WWII. She owned and operated a restaurant in Milford and farmed with her husband near Wakefield. Irvine preceded her in death on November 1, 1992. Geraldine moved to Clay Center in 1993. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wakefield and later in Clay Center, Rebecca's and the Gnat Batters Camping Club. She is also preceded in death by 4 brothers.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Wakefield Chapel in Wakefield, Kansas.
Officiating the service will be Pastor Scott Campbell.
Burial will be at the Highland Cemetery, Wakefield, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Monday at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center. The family will greet friends from 5-7 PM

Thomas Watt, III
Tommy was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting, and being in nature in general. He was active in sports and pitched and played center field for the CCCHS Baseball team, played on the CCCHS basketball team and was a fearless competitor. Tommy was an honor roll student. He enjoyed playing with his brother and sisters who called him “Bubba”. “Get Rivers” was their favorite game to play together. His smile was infectious and his courage inspiring. He is loved and will be missed by many.

Colleen Beems
(Died July 12, 2013)
COLLEEN MARIE BEEMS died July 12, 2013 at Good Shepherd Hospice House, Manhattan, KS at the age of 83. She was born on July 24, 1929 in Idana, Kansas the daughter of Basil and Sophrona (Meek) Rankin.
Colleen graduated from CCCHS in 1947. She married
Roger Beems on June 12, 1949. Colleen worked as a ward clerk at the Clay County Hospital for 25 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Roger preceded her in death on June 14, 1990. She is also preceded in death by a daughter Jill Dianne Beems, a brother, William Harvey Rankin and a sister, Terri Marlee Hamilton.

Mary Linder
LANGDON - Mary Linder, 93, Langdon died Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at South Wind Hospice Home, Pratt.
She was born November 21, 1913 West of Medicine Lodge, KS the daughter of the late John and Mary (Hawley) Krengel. She married
Lee Linder on April Fools Day 1942 at Kingman, KS.
She graduated from Nashville High School in 1931 and received a teaching certificate from Alva, OK in 1933.
Mary taught Elementary School for 10 years. She worked as a key punch operator during WWII for Aero Parks & Boeing. After the war, she became a fulltime homemaker. She was actively involved in 4-H, Home Economics Counsel, Home Demonstration Unit, Commodity Distribution Program, YWCA, Turon Senior Citizens, and a member of the Langdon Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband: Lee Linder, Langdon; 3 daughters: Darlene and husband Bill Blackmore, Langdon; Yvonne and husband John Montford, Placitas, NM; Krista Lee and husband Roy Heimberger, Independence, KS; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and sister Hazel Linder, Hutchinson.
She was preceded in death by a brother, George Krengel and a sister, Josphine Fanning; and 2 nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday from 3-8 and Friday from 10-8 at Larrison Funeral Home, Turon. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8.
The funeral will be Saturday at 1:30 at Turon Community Church, with Pastor Steve Gill officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Turon Senior Center or Turon Community Church in care of the Funeral Home, 400 N Martin, Turon, KS 67583.

Edward P. "Shorty" Stuhlsatz, 94, retired farmer and stockman, died Friday, December 7, 2012.
Vigil 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012.
Memorial Mass: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012 both at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Conway Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Susie (Ternes) Stuhlsatz; six brothers: Joseph, William, Charles, Paul, Clarence and Leon Stuhlsatz; one sister Mary Leis; two grandsons: Teddy Stuhlsatz and Joshua Conrady.
Survivors include wife Edna; four sons: Jim (Marcia) Stuhlsatz of Mayfield, KS; Bill (Marian) Stuhlsatz of Andover, KS; Ted (Joyce) Stuhlsatz of Oak Grove, MO; Tim (Teri) Stuhlsatz of Wichita, KS; five daughters: Charlene (Marlyn) Pitcock of Forsyth, MO; Victoria (David) Richardson of Milton, KS; Elaine (Craig) Jones of Conway Springs, KS; Becky Barkley and Teresa Gerber both of Wichita, KS; two brothers: Julius Stuhlsatz and Sylvester Stuhlsatz both of Garden Plain; 28 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren. Foster Larry “Fos” Mears, 77, retired FAA, Air Traffic Controller, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS.
Visitation with family present 6-7:30 p.m., Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Ebersole Mortuary, Conway Springs.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 17, 2012, Norwich Baptist Church. Interment in Milan Cemetery, Milan.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Elaine (Murphy) Mears; sons, Ron (Suzanne) Mears and Jim Mears all of Roeland Park; daughter Shelly (Mitch) Hewitt of Norwich; grandchildren: Lauren, Mason, Trenton, Chloe, Kelcey and Maddie.
Memorials have been established to the Norwich Baptist Church or Norwich EMS.
