Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2003, at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will be in the Atlanta, Kan., Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. on Friday.

Arrangements are under the direction of Miles Funeral Service, Winfield.

ary E. Stafford, 78, Winfield, died Thursday, May 8, 2003, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2003, in Highland Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Swisher-Taylor & Morris Funeral Home, Winfield.

Virginia Lee Jones, 76, longtime Ponca City resident, died Thursday, May 8, 2003, at her home. Graveside funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2003, in Memorial Lawn Cemetery Chapel in Arkansas City, with Rev. Steve Bredesen, pastor of the Asbury United Methodist Church of Ponca City, officiating. Memorials have been established with Hospice of Ponca City, 1904 North Union, Suite 103, Ponca City, OK 74601 or the Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Rt. 2, Box 990, Arkansas City, KS 67005.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Grace Memorial Chapel, Ponca City.

Funeral services for Abe Littou El Reno will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday May 12, 2003 in the Church of Christ at London and Macomb. Mark Legg will officiate. Burial will be in the Newkirk Cemetery at Newkirk, OK. Services are under direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

He is survived by three sons; Victor Littou of Arkansas City, Leonard Littou of Moore, OK; Lyle David Littou of TX; two daughters Margaret Walden of San Antonio, TX; and Mary Jean Tramel of Hansford, CA; One sister Kate Randol of Newkirk, OK and 12 Grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Dora Ellen Brown, 85, longtime Newkirk resident, who died Saturday, May 10, 2003, at the Ponca City Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2003, in the Grandview Cemetery in Kaw City. Danny W. Cornish, minister of the Newkirk Church of Christ, officiated.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Miller-Stahl Funeral Service, Newkirk.

Funeral services for DeLee Irene "Bammy" Hadsall, 84, Winfield, who died Thursday, May 8, 2003, after a long battle with ovarian cancer, were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2003, at the First Assembly of God Church, Winfield. Graveside services were at 2 p.m. in the Attica, Kan., cemetery. DeLee was born in Conway Springs, to Harvey Gwinn Andrews and Savilla Irene Powe Andrews. She served as Deputy City Clerk for the city of Anthony, church treasurer for the Anthony Assembly of God Church and was a stained glass teacher for the Winfield Arts and Humanities Council. Memorials have been established with the First Assembly of God Church, Winfield or the Harry Hines Memorial Hospice at the Vine in Wichita, attention Heather Clay.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Swisher-Taylor & Morris Funeral Home, Winfield.

Clara M. Moore, 90, Arkansas City, died Sunday, May 11, 2003, at the Presbyterian Manor Health Care Unit. Private family services will be held at a later date. The casket will be open at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home.

Edna Mae O'Neal, 91, Texas City, Texas, former longtime resident of Arkansas City until the last six years, died Monday, May 12, 2003, in Webster, Texas. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at the First Pentecostal Church in Texas City with Pastor Geneva Maris officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Emken-Linton Funeral Home, Texas City, Texas.

Clara Maryetta Moore, 90, Arkansas City, died Sunday, May 11, 2003, at the Presbyterian Manor Health Care Unit of Arkansas City. Private family services are scheduled for a later date. The casket will be open today, May 13, 2003, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Parker Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home, Arkansas City.

Charles Everett Crane, 90, Arkansas City, died Monday, May 12, 2003, at South Central Kansas Regional Medical Center.

Arrangements are pending and under the direction of the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home, Arkansas City.

Larry D. "Fred" Head, 44, Murphysboro, Ill., former Parsons resident, died Tuesday, May 13, 2003, at the St. Joseph Medical Center in Murphysboro. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2003, at the Carson-Wall Funeral Home in Parsons with Rev. Eddie Williamson officiating. Interment will be in East Bethany Cemetery, with military honors by Brown-Bishop Post No. 704, VFW. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Friday. A memorial has been established for the Parent Teacher Community Organization at the Service Valley School. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.

Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2003, at the Hawks Funeral Home, Arkansas City. There will be no visitation, as cremation has been effected.

Joanne Kay Ford, 64, Shell Knob, Mo., died Thursday, May 15, 2003, at her home in Shell Knob. A funeral mass will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2003, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Shell Knob, with Father David Miller officiating. Interment will be in Lake Park Memorial Gardens, Shell Knob. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-6 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. following the visitation. Memorials have been established with Hospice Care of Carroll Regional or the Alzheimer's Association. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at the Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call or come by the funeral home from 1-8 p.m. Sunday and on Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. A memorial has been established with the Foster Grandparent Program. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2003, at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Winfield. Interment will be in the Highland Cemetery in Medicine Lodge. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday, at Holy Name Catholic Church. Memorials have been established for the Burden, Kan., VFD or the Holy Name Catholic Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
