David Blaine Cullison
MOSCOW - David Blaine Cullison, 42, of Moscow, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2003, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Moscow.
He was born Sept. 16, 1960, at Hugoton, the son of Jack Blaine and Thelma Ruth Taff Cullison.
A lifetime resident of Stevens County, he was a farmer and rancher and was president of Tri-State Feeders at Turpin, Okla. He served on the Stevens County Hospital Board and Stevens County Fair Board, was a Buffalo Boosters 4-H leader at Moscow and enjoyed spending time with his family.
On April 16, 1986, he married Lorri Rae Post at Hugoton. She survives. He also is survived by a son, Matthew Cullison, and a daughter, Tara Cullison, both of Moscow; and his mother, Moscow. He was preceded in death by his father; and his grandparents, Champ and Edith Taff, and Dell and Opal Cullison.
Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at O'Dea Lahey Cemetery, Moscow, with the Rev. Ray Tweed officiating.
Friends may sign the registry book from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Paul's Funeral Home, Hugoton. Memorials are suggested to the Children's Education Fund, in care of the funeral home, Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
William Marcus Harris
TRIBUNE - William Marcus Harris, 81, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2003, at Greeley County Hospital in Tribune.
He was born May 11, 1921, at Brownwood, Texas, the son of William B. and Mary E. Tongate Harris.
A farmer, he had been a Greeley County resident since 1959. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Tribune and Anthem Masonic Lodge of Scott City and was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of World War II.
On Aug. 16, 1941, he married Iva Ruth Howlett at Brownwood. She died Dec. 22, 1994, at Tribune. On April 16, 2001, he married Viola Satterfield at Tribune. She died May 11, 2001, at Tribune.
He is survived by a son, Tim Harris of Tribune; two daughters, Norma Ellis of Olathe, and Barbara Curtis of Aurora, Colo.; three brothers, Norman Harris of Houston, Harold Harris of La Grange, Texas, and W.T. Harris of Brownwood; four sisters, Josephine Haynes of Brady, Texas, Maxine Brice of Victoria, Texas, Shirley Anne Touchstone of Texas City, Texas, and Murial Lampkin of Georgetown, Texas; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 9 a.m. MDT Saturday at First Baptist Church, Tribune, with the Rev. Mark Randolph officiating. Inurnment will be in Greeley County Cemetery, Tribune.
Visitation hours are from noon to 9 p.m. Friday and until service time Saturday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, Tribune. Memorials are suggested to the Greeley County Long Term Care Unit, in care of the funeral home.
Thomas R. Pendegrass
Thomas R. Pendegrass, 85, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at his home in Garden City.
He was born Aug. 24, 1917, at Bernie, Mo., the son of Frank and Augusta Kitchens Pendegrass.
A Garden City resident since 1975, moving from California, he had been the owner and operator of his own dry cleaning business. He was a member of First Southern Baptist Church of Garden City and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
On Oct. 17, 1941, he married Wanda Smith at Bloomfield, Mo. She survives. He also is survived by a son, Keith R. Pendegrass of Huntington Beach, Calif.; three daughters, Jonel Gates of Garden City, Elaine Caven of Cheney, Wash., and Deborah Baker of San Jacinto, Calif.; two brothers, Donald and Ronald Pendegrass, both of Granite City, Ill.; a sister, Frankie Jo Thompson of Florida; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, Garden City, with the Rev. Randy Caddell officiating. Inurnment will be in Valley View Cemetery, Garden City.
There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to First Southern Baptist Church, in care of the funeral home, 620 N. Main St.
Ronald 'Ron' Goetz
Ronald "Ron" Goetz, 59, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
He was born March 1, 1943, at Garden City, the son of Fred and Johanna Blottner Goetz.
A lifetime resident of Garden City, he worked as a carpet and tile layer, beginning in 1971 with Southwest Carpet and later working with Southwest Floor Covering. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
On Nov. 9, 1963, he married Betty Billings at Garden City. She survives. He also is survived by a son, Clinton Goetz of Garden City; a sister, Mariann VanWinkle of Oklahoma City; one grandchild; and three stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Garnand Funeral Home, Garden City, with the Rev. Donald E. Carter officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery, Garden City.
Visitation hours are until 8 tonight, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, in care of the funeral home, 412 N. Seventh St.
Linda S. England
Johnson CITY - Linda S. England, 45, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2003, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
She was born Oct. 9, 1957, at Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Richard Sr. and DeAnna Kennedy Whitaker.
A resident of Big Bow since 1987, she was a homemaker. She attended Bethel Church of the Nazarene, belonged to the Christian Motorcycle Association, and enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, camping, working in her flower garden and helping others.
On June 18, 1978, she married Pat England at Vernal, Utah. He survives. She also is survived by a son, Cpl. Byron A. England of Jacksonville, N.C.; a daughter, ReAnn M. England of Arkansas City; two brothers, Richard L. and William Whitaker, both of Fort Worth, Texas; and a sister, Debra A. Nelson of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Rick Whitaker.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel, Johnson City, with the Rev. Tom Boese officiating. Burial will follow in Greeley County Cemetery, Tribune.

Kenneth Ray Oldacker
ELKHART - Kenneth Ray Oldacker, 43, a former Elkhart resident, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2003, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Enid, Okla.
He was born Nov. 3, 1959, at Amarillo, Texas, the son of Richard D. and Donna Lee Hickle Hall.
Mr. Oldacker worked as a truck driver and carpenter. A resident of Woodward, Okla., for the past two years, he previously resided in Elkhart, Sharon Springs and Wyoming. His special interest was free-hand drawing.
He is survived by his father, Elkhart; a daughter, Jeanette Ann Osborn of Brule, Neb.; a son, Joshua Ray Osborn of Southerland, Neb.; one brother; and four sisters. He was preceded in death by his mother; a son, Skyray Oldacker; and a brother.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Elkhart Cemetery, with the Rev. Terrell Giddens officiating.

George Bailey Kelley
LEOTI - George Bailey Kelley, 90, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at Wichita County Hospital in Leoti.
He was born Jan. 7, 1913, in Scott County, the son of George B. and Samuella V. Bailey Kelley.
A Leoti resident since 1930, he was a farmer and had owned a seafood market in Lincoln City, Ore., from 1965 to 1972. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, American Legion and Moose Lodge, all at Garden City, and was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of World War II.
On Jan. 13, 1936, he married Ervie A. Ricter at South Haven. She died Jan. 20, 1976, at Scott City. He also was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
On Nov. 21, 1977, he married Daisy Krenzel at Scott City. She survives. He also is survived by a son, Ervin B. Kelley of Hillsboro, Ore.; a daughter, Georgia Lee Graves of Pasadena, Calif.; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Leoti, with the Rev. Richard Odum officiating. Burial will be in Scott County Cemetery, Scott City.

Edith A. Salmon
ELKHART - Funeral for Edith A. Salmon, 92, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Garnand Funeral Chapel, Elkhart, with the Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Elkhart Cemetery.
Mrs. Salmon died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2003, at Vintage Estates Health Care Facility in Sacramento, Calif.
She was born April 19, 1910, at Alvin, Texas, the daughter of Nicholas O. and Lydia V. Jackson Shaw. Her early years were spent on the family homestead in Baca County, Colo. In 1919, the family moved to Elkhart, where she attended schools.
She worked as an assistant to local doctors in Elkhart before marrying Elmer B. Salmon on May 25, 1929, at Elkhart. After her marriage, she and her husband moved to Arkansas and Colorado before settling in Oregon in 1941. They worked together in the shipyards during the war. In 1945, the couple moved to Brookings, Ore., where they resided until moving to the Sacramento area in 1979.
A homemaker, Mrs. Salmon enjoyed crocheting, latch hook crafts, sewing clothes and spending time with her family. She was faithful in her Bible reading and prayer.
Her husband died March 15, 1988. She also was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Virginia Tucker, Thelma Salmon and Ona Shaw; three brothers, Walter, Charles and Robert Shaw; a daughter, Alma Lou White; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She is survived by six sons, Elmer L. Salmon of Michigan, Robert Salmon of Bend, Ore., Bill Salmon of Bakersfield, Calif., Walter Salmon of Cool, Calif., Arthur Salmon of Kansas City, Mo., and David Salmon of Soldotna, Alaska; four daughters, Thelma Sipes of Citrus Heights, Calif., Joy Goyette of San Antonio, Susanna Read of San Bernardino, Calif., and Ruth Read of Arcadia, Calif.; a son-in-law; 35 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
