Melvin L. Dellenbaugh, 79, of Newton, died Tuesday, March 11, 2003, at Newton Medical Center, Newton. Carmen Zavala, 70, of Wichita, formerly of Arkansas City, died Wednesday, March 12, 2003, at the Medicalodge Health Care Center of Wichita. The Rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. today, March 14, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Arkansas City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 15, at the church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. The Rev. John Brungardt will officiate. A memorial has been established with Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
