Father John Brungardt will officiate. Esther was born March 9, 1919, in Arkansas City, the daughter of John William and Margaret Jane (Doherty) Reece. She was reared and educated in Arkansas City, graduating from Arkansas City High School in 1938. She married Joe Stafford on Aug. 26, 1939, in Arkansas City, and the couple made their home west of Arkansas City. A memorial has been established with the Sacred Heart Catholic School Endowment Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
