RUSSELL HAMBLIN
HUGOTON -- Russell Hamblin, 75, died Friday, Aprill 22, 2005, at V.A. Medical Center in Muskogee, Okla.
He was born July 22, 1929, to Preston James and Oma Jane (Friend) Hamblin in Jetmore.
He married Marjorie Wyatt Nov. 26, 1955, at Clovis, N.M. She survives.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a police officer for the City of Hugoton for 15 years, including three years as chief of police. He then worked for Stevens County Road Department.
He attended Assembly of God Church in Hugoton.
Other survivors include three daughters, Zanna Wellinghoff and husband Curtis, Surprise, Ariz., Jeanie Hamblin, Muskogee, Okla., and Peggy Meissner, Muskogee, Okla.; five grandsons; two great-grandsons; one brother, Alvin Hamblin, Laverne, Okla.; one sister, Evelyn Hauf, Hugoton; and many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Leland and Everett Hamblin.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Assembly of God Church in Hugoton with Ministers Calvin Wyatt and Robert Bailey presiding.
Burial will be in Hugoton Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Paul's Funeral Home.

RANDY W. BLOESSER
ELKHART -- Randy W. Bloesser, 44, died April 23, 2005, at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart.
He was born Dec. 22, 1960, to Jay and Wanda (Chilson) Bloesser in Tribune.
He married Debbie Dieker on Nov. 14, 1981, at Ulysses. She survives.
He was employed in the oil and gas industry since 1982. He was a control analyst for El Paso Energy. He was a former school board member for USD 218 and a member of the Elkhart Variance Board.
He was a member of Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Elkhart.
His hobbies included coaching softball, wrestling, doing carpentry work and spending time with his dog, Kelsey.
Other survivors include his parents; one grandmother, Delephine Chilson, Ulysses; two daughters, Miranda Bloesser, Elkhart, and Melanie Bloesser, Ulysses; two brothers, Rick Bloesser, Salina; Rocky Bloesser, Colorado Springs, Colo.; one sister, Ronda Waechter, Ulysses; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Vigil service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Elkhart.
Funeral mass will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with the Rev. Francis Khoi Nguyen presiding.
Burial will be at Elkhart Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Garnand Funeral Home in Elkhart.

GEORGIA R. WILLIAMS
Georgia R. Williams, 88, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at her residence in Liberal.
She was born Oct. 29, 1916, to George Roy and Mary Anna (Hensley) Headrick in Domby, Okla.
She married Clifford C. Hill Aug. 6, 1938, in Liberal. He died Nov. 23, 1951.
She then married Myrl Williams Aug. 13, 1961, in Clayton, N.M. He survives.
She graduated in 1934 from Adams (Okla.) High School.
She owned and operated Liberal Taxi until she retired in March of 1971, She worked at Avis Car rental at Liberal Airport for five years.
She was a charter member and past president of Soroptimist International of Liberal, past member and past president of Garfield Elementary PTA, past Girls Scout leader, past board member and docent at Baker Arts Center, member of the Evergreen Garden Club and past board member and treasurer at Liberal Senior Citizens Center.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, 20th Century Sunday School Class and Circle 3.
Other survivors include one son, Delbert Hill and wife Joyce, Topeka; two daughters, Mary Downs and husband Richard, Liberal, and Winifred Kiddoo and husband Charles, Henderson, Nev.; one step-son, Ken Williams and wife Nancy, Great Bend; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; five brothers, Melbourne Headrick, Hooker, Okla., Donald Headrick and wife Mable, Elkhart, Harlan Headrick and wife Margie, Guymon, Okla., Ronald Headrick, Aztec, N.M., and Ivan Headrick and wife Marylin, Liberal; and two sisters, Myrtle Pettijohn, Liberal, and Mary Hintergardt and husband Truman, Guymon, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jacob and Warren Headrick.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ken Hathaway presiding.
Burial will be in Liberal Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday with family present to receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m.

ELIZABETH R. DAVIS
MEADE -- Elizabeth R. Davis, 97, died Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at Meade District Hospital.
Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced by Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary in Meade.
NORMA L. PLUMMER
OAKLEY -- Norma L. Plummer, 72, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005, at Logan County Hospital in Oakley.
She was born Sep. 27, 1932, to Harry Anthony and Ruth Ann Wonnell Hoff in Grinnell.
She married Wesley W. Plummer on Nov. 10, 1951, at Grinnell. He died Nov. 21, 1991.
She attended Fort Hays State University.
She was a school bus driver with USD No. 274 for 32 years.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Oakley and was a member of the St. Joseph Altar Society. He was a past member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Grinnell.
His hobbies included gardening and bird watching.
Survivors include one son, Jim Plummer and wife Irene, Liberal; two daughters, Nancy Breese and husband Tim, Northglenn, Colo., and Jane Schwarz and husband Dennis, Oakley; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Patrick Hoff, Erie, Colo.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Dale Eugene Plummer; one brother, Robert Hoff; and one sister, Donna Beckman.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Oakley with the Rev. Roger Meitl presiding.
Rosary will ber at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home.

Albert E. "Gene" Lamberson, 73, died Thursday, May 5, 2005, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, in Wichita.
He was born June 23, 1931, to Wilbu L. and Tempe (Overton) Lamberson in Temple, Okla.
He worked for Yellow Freight.
He was a member of the Teamster Union and the Masonic Lodge in Liberal.
His hobbies included hunting and fishing.
Survivors include two sons, Albert Charles "Chuck" Lamberson and wife Fern, Liberal, and Terry Lamberson and wife Linda, Hugoton; three daughters, Becky Alquist, Del Norte, Colo., Kristy Trickel and husband Clayton, South Fork, Colo., and Janna Lamberson, Denver, Colo.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nine brothers, Earl Lamberson, Dallas, Texas, Ken Don Lamberson, Kernerseille, N.C., Arcine Lamberson, Ulysses, Glenn Lamberson, Kennewick, Wash., Rod Lamberson, Sublette, Gail Lamberson, Ulysses, Gary Lamberson, Kennewick, Wash., Wayne Lamberson, Ulysses, and David Lamberson, Garden City; one sister, Ginger Kilburn, Independence, Mo., and many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one grandson, Brian Lamberson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Assembly of God Church in Hugoton with the Rev. Robert Bailey presiding.
Burial will be in Hugoton Cemetery.
