SATANTA Garry Layne Anthony, 60, died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at his home in Satanta.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Haskell County Funeral Home, Sublette.
THELMA DUBOIS
GREAT BEND Thelma DuBois, 95, died May 30, 2004, at the Hospice House, Hutchinson.
She was born March 20, 1909, to Leonard and Blanche Plunkett Krause in LaCrosse.
She married Clinton DuBois on March 17, 1925, in Great Bend. He died Jan. 17, 1966.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, CKMC Auxilary and AARP in Great Bend. She lived in Great Bend since moving there from Coffeyville in 1925.
Survivors include two sons, Don DuBois and wife, Mayme, Almena and Gene DuBois and wife, Betty, Satanta; one son-in-law, Tom Stringer, Hutchinson; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded by one daughter, Linda Stringer; one sister, Carol Powers; and one granddaughter, Jeana Marie Schuster.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bryant Funeral Home in Great Bend with the Reverend Gary Brooks presiding.
Burial will be at the Hillcrest Memorial Park, Great Bend.
Friends may visit on from until 9 p.m. today and on from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend.
Memorials are suggested to the Hospice House or the First United Methodist Church.
ARLINE STATON
SUBLETTE Arline Staton, 74, died Sunday, May 30, 2004, at the Satanta District Hospital.
She was born July 20, 1929, to Ernest A. and Thelma N. (MacKinder) Wax, in Denver, Colo.
She married Orville L. Staton on June 9, 1946 in Wichita. He survives.
She was Clerk of the District Court for Haskell County for 25 years. She retired in 1992.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, Sublette and the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter No. 359, Sublette.
Other survivors include one son, Larry G. Staton and wife, Kathi, Wichita; two grandchildren, Hilary and Stephanie Staton; one great-grandson, Brodie Max; and many friends.
She was preceded by her parents.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Church in Sublette with the Minister David Erwin presiding.
Burial will be in the Haskell County Cemetery, Sublette.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the Haskell County Funeral Home.

TALMADGE A. DAVIS
SATANTA Talmadge "Tally" A. Davis, 82, died Saturday, May 29, 2004, at the Stevens County Hospital, Hugoton.
She was born on July 7, 1921, to Walter K. and Laura Etta (Pennell) Winsted in Evansville, Ark.
She married Arthur "Art" B. Davis on June 25, 1937, in Sublette. He died on May 28, 1997.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Sublette and the Stitch and Chatter Club, Moscow.
Survivors include two sons, Gary A. Davis and wife, Joycelyn, Fort Collins, Colo. and Roger T. Davis and wife, Gail, Pearland, Texas; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; two brothers, John Winsted, Casper, Wyo., and Felix Winsted, Kingman, Ariz.; two sisters, Oletta Hollis, Scottsdale, Ariz., and Irene Olsen, Carlsbad, N.M.; and many relatives and friends.
She was also preceded by her parents and her brother, Ernest Winsted.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Satanta, with the Reverend Jeff Miller presiding.
Burial will be in the Dudley Township Cemetery, Satanta.

PEARL R. PRIGMORE
MEADE Pearl Ramona (Condon) Prigmore, 87, died Friday, May 28, 2004, at the Meade District Hospital.
She was born Sept. 22, 1916, to Homer Delos and Jewell Estelle (Page) Condon in Merced, Calif.
She married Walter L. Prigmore on Nov. 6, 1970, in Alva, Okla. He died on Jan. 31, 1987.
She was a retired restaurant employee.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Meade.
Survivors include 10 grandchildren, Deborah Long, Beaver, Okla., Donald Munn, Hugoton, Robert Munn, Rolla, Mary Songer, Ramona Glass, Charolette Cox, Bruce Glass, Muriel Glass, Samuel Glass, and Timothy Glass, all of Humbolt County, Calif.; 32 great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; and one sister, Paulene Smith, Pa.
She was also preceded by one son, Donald Lee Munn; one daughter, Joydene Glass; and one brother, John Condon.
Graveside memorial services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at the Graceland Cemetery, Meade, with the Reverend Harry Fink presiding.
Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice in care of the Fidler-Orme Mortuary, Meade.
MYRL P. WILLIAMS
HUGOTON Myrl Patrick "Red" Williams, 77, died Saturday, June 5, 2004, at his residence in Hugoton.
He was born Nov. 8, 1926, in Tulsa, Okla. to Charles L. and Juanita J. Corn Williams.
He married Donna Rosenberry, Dec. 22, 1951, in Rosewell, NM. She died Aug. 2, 1999.
He was a pipeline welder and worked 25 years for Northern Natural. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the United States Marine Corps.
He was a member of the Christian Church.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion, both of Hugoton, the Elks Club of Guymon, Okla., and a lifetime member of the NRA.
Survivors include two sons, Jay D. Williams, Gene Autry, Okla. and Don W. Williams, Hugoton; one daughter, Janet D. Smith, Hugoton; five grandchildren; one brother, Jerry E. Williams, Wichita; and two sisters, Nancy Jo Somers, Waldo and Dixie Davis, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30a.m., Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Meade with Reverend Harry Fink presiding.
Burial services will be in Graceland Cemetery
at Meade.
Friends may call sign the register Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Fidler-Orme Mortuary in Meade. The casket will be closed.
MARY M. WRONTNEY
MEADE Mary Margaret Wrotney, 93, died Friday, June 4, 2004, at the Manor of the Plains in Dodge City.
She was born Sept. 30, 1910 in Des Moines, Iowa, to Michael and Angela Stynda Burnos.
She married Stanley Wrotney, Feb. 23, 1927, in Kansas City, Mo. He died Feb. 5, 1955.
She was a homemaker, farmer and hospital employee for Meade District Hospital.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Meade.
Survivors include four grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Dembroski and Agnes Baker, both of Kansas City, Mo.
She was also preceeded in death by a son, Victor A. Wrotney, one daughter, Angela Agnes Bucher, four brothers, Michael, John, Kasmir, and Joe Burnos, and one sister, Julia.
Vigil services were at 7 p.m., Sunday at Fidler-Orme Mortuary Chapel in Meade with father Ted Skalsky presiding.
Burial services were in the Plains Cemetery
in Plains.
JIMMY M. LEE
HUGOTON Jimmy Monroe Lee, 58, Salem, Ind., and former Hugoton resident, died June 7, 2004, at Veterans Medical Center in Louisville, Ky.
He was born Jan. 9, 1946, to Finis and Geneva (Prather) Lee in Liberal.
He married Linda Herndon. She survives.
He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He worked for the City of Hugoton and was a trucker.
He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Hugoton.
He was also a member of Veterans of Foreign War.
Other survivors include his foster mother, Daisy Pate, Hugoton; one step-daughter, Debbie Smith, Houston, Texas; two grandchildren; one brother, Melvin Lee, Topeka; and three sisters, Velda Tackett, Hugoton, Pat Cravens, Silver Lake, and Lilla May Love, Tyrone, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his foster father, Everett Pate.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday at Weathers Funeral Home, Salem, Ind., with minister Darrell James presiding.
Burial will be at 1:15 p.m. in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Madison, Ind.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, at the Trinity Baptist Church, Hugoton, with minister Larry Bradford presiding.
