HUGOTON -- Shayla Angel Sandavol, three weeks, died Oct. 21, 2003, at Kiowa County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg.
She was born Sept. 29, 2003, to Sarah Vess and Stacy Sandavol at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
Survivors include her parents; grandparents, Glenda Langley, Hugoton, Louis and Linda Sandavol, Guymon, Okla.; great-grandmother, Carolyn Langley, Hugoton and many relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Thursday at Hugoton Cemetery
in Hugoton with the Minister Andrew Wehling presiding.
Friends may call Paul's Funeral Home in Hugoton from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
ROGER K. FELDMAN
MEADE -- Roger K. Feldman, 52, died Oct. 19, 2003, in rural Ford County.
He was born March 20, 1951, to Glenn E. and Barbara M. Wurdeman Feldman in Fowler.
He married Peggy Thompson.
He was a 1969 graduate of Meade High School. He was a lifetime resident of Meade and an assistant for Danny Post.
He was a member of Saint John Lutheran Church in Meade, Ducks Unlimited, Quail Unlimited, Pheasants Forever and was an avid hunter.
Survivors include one son, Travis Feldman, Topeka; two daughters, Mardi Feldman, Topeka, and Chandra and husband, Robert Norris, Meade; his mother, Meade; two sisters, Karen Hoover, Kingman, and Janet Hale, Meade; two grandchildren, A.J. Murphy and Zachary Norris; one niece, Jackie Hale, Meade; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Saint John Lutheran Church in Meade with the Reverend Lynn E. Spencer presiding.
Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery
in Meade.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fidler-Orme Mortuary in Meade.
Paul's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
ROBERT L. WHITE
ULYSSES -- Robert L. White, 59, died Oct. 19, 2003, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Bloomington, Ill.
He was born March 26, 1944, to Burl and Mary (White) Gile in Hannibal, Mo.
He married Dixie Wright Aug. 7, 1976, in Dever, Colo. She survives.
He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local No. 9 as a mechanic welder for 26 years.
Other survivors include two sons, Shawn Henry and wife, Sally, and Derek Henry and wife, Becky, all of Washburn, Ill.; one daughter, Angela Higgs and husband, Will, Ulysses; one brother, Jerry White, Ulysses; one sister, Burla Stutzman and husband, Jerry, Ulysses; four grandchildren, Brandon and Jason Henry and Braden and Jared Higgs.
He was preceded in death by his father; his step-father, Bud Gile; his mother; one brother, Billy Glen White; and one sister, Jeannie Fulks.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Shelton Memorial Christian Church in Ulysses with the Reverend Bill Harold presiding.
Burial will be at the Ulysses Cemetery
in Ulysses.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.

ROBERT "BOB" WILKINS
DALLAS, Texas -- Robert "Bob" Wilkins, died Oct. 10, 2003, in Dallas, Texas.
He was born to Jennie and Orville Wilkins in Liberal.
In 1941, he married Claire Meeker. She survives.
He graduated from Liberal High School in Liberal. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in petrolium engineering. He went to the University of Texas for a Master's degree in petrolium secondary recovery.
He moved to Dallas, Texas where he became vice president of Production for American Petrofina.
He was a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church.
His hobby was raising Arabian horses.
Other survivors include two sons, Jack and wife, Claire, Austin, Texas, James and wife,Carrie, New Haven Conn., one daughter, Anne Herrick and husband, Jay, Topsham, Maine; one sister, Kathryn Wood, Liberal; and five grandchildren.
Memorial services were Oct. 16 at Highland Park Presbyterian Church.
ROBIN KING
Robin King, 57, died Oct. 23, 2003, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Funeral services are pending and will be announced by Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home in Liberal.
MARILYN S. GILLESPIE
HUGOTON -- Marilyn S. Gillespie, 51, died Oct. 22, 2003, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Funeral services are pending and will be announced by Paul's Funeral Home in Hugoton.
ELENA JEAN PRATT
SUBLETTE -- Elena Jean Pratt, 77, died Oct. 23, 2003, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
She was born Sept. 21, 1926, to Eugene and Ethel Mae (Reid) Durham in Sonora, Texas.
She married Raymond Alfred Pratt Nov. 13, 1943, in Huntsville, Texas. He died May 22, 1995.
She moved from Hobbs, N.M. to Sublette in November of 1998. She was a ministers wife and a music teacher.
She was a member of the Christian Church in Sublette, past member of Southern Baptist WMU and a lifetime member of UMMTA.
Survivors include one daughter, Paula Leverett and husband, Bernard, Sublette; one sister, Genevieve Sandhop, College Station, Texas; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Raymond Pratt; and one sister, Helen Durham.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday at Christian Church in Sublette with the Minister David Erwin presiding.
Friends may call Saturday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Sunday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Haskell County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
DALE LEON HORNER
AMARILLO, Texas -- Dale Leon Horner, 75, died Saturday, October 18, 2003, at his home in Amarillo, Texas.
He was born April 16, 1928, in Hugoton to Ivan and Sadie Horner.
He worked for Northern Natural Gas Company before retiring.
He is survived by his brother Clay Horner, Towanda; two sisters, Pauline Beavers Crider, Hugoton, Dorine Howe, Amarillo, Texas; three nephews, Eddie Howe, Houston, Texas, Doyle Beavers, Bowie, Texas, Terry Ausbun, Battle Ground, Wash.; five nieces, Karolyn Howe Farmer, Amarillo, Texas, Louise Beavers Smith, Canyon Lake, Texas, Jimmie Ausbun Hubbard, Amarillo, Texas, Karen Horner English, Towanda, Rhonda Ausbun jones, Amarillo, Texas and many relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday at Paul's Funeral Home in Hugoton. Burial will be at the Hugoton cemetery in Hugoton.

ROBIN KING
Robin King, 57, died Thursday, October 23, 2003, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
She was born Nov. 15, 1945 to Robert E. and Myrtle Maurine (Smith) Reneau in Oklahoma City.
She married Harry L. King, July 28, 1968 in Liberal. He survives.
She graduated from Liberal High School in 1964. She attended Northwestern Oklahoma University for two years and then received her associate's degree in Secreterial Science from Seward County Community College.
She was the Executive Director of Nuts and Bolts Inc. and a former long time emplyee of JC Penney.
She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church, Adult 7 Sunday school class, Order of the Eastern Star Liberal Chapter No. 104, and Delta Zeta sorority.
Her hobies included scrapbooking, reading, and music. She loved animals.
Other survivors include her father, Robert E. Reneau, Alva, Okla; one son, Jeff King and wife, Amie, Lordsburg, N.M.; one brother, Jim Reneau, Dodge City; two grandchildren, Rylee and Seth.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Maurine Reneau.
Memorial services are at 1 p.m. Monday at the First Couthern Baptist Church in Liberal with the Reverand Keith Bryant presiding.
The family will conduct a private burial at Liberal Cemetery
in Liberal.

MARILYN S. GILLESPIE
HUGOTON -- Marilyn S. Gillespie, 51, died Wednesday Oct. 22, 2003, at her home in Hugoton.
She was born Aug. 9, 1952, to Donald and Helen (Wise) Odell in Kansas City, Mo.
She married Milton Gillespe on Oct. 25, 1975 in Kansas City, Mo. He survives.
She graduated from Avila College in Kansas City, Mo. with a bachelor's degree, and from Emporia State University in Emporia with a master's degree.
She worked for High Plains Educational Cooperative where she taught early childhood special education.
Other survivors include one daughter, Erin Gillespie, Omaha, Neb.; one brother, Tom Odell and wife, Linda,Kansas City, Mo. ; one sister, Leslie Odell, Sells, Ariz.; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Don Odell.
Funeral services are at 2:30 p.m. today at the United Methodist Church in Hugoton with the Reverend Greg Lindenberger presiding.
Burial will be at a later date.
