AGNES LOUETTA CLARK
HUGOTON -- Agnes Louetta Clark, 99, died Wednesday, September 17, 2003, at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Hugoton.
She was born March 15, 1904, to Chester L. and Frances V. (Yount) Wardlaw in Bazine.
She married Paul Lindeman. He preceded her in death.
She married Floyd Couch. He died in 1976.
She then married Henry Clark. He preceded her in death.
She was a cook at the Argus Hotel in Hugoton for many years.
Survivors include two sons, Floyd Couch and wife, Doris, Alma, Neb., Dr. Robert Lindeman and wife, Lorrie, Herber Springs, Ark., four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and seven sisters.
Graveside services will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m., at Haskell County Cemetery
with Les Palnar presiding.
Friends may call Paul's Funeral Home in Hugoton from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday.

NELL G. DORRELL
FOWLER -- Nell G. Dorrell, 86, died Wednesday, September 17, 2003, in Rocklin, Calif.
She was born August 17, 1917, to Otis Edward and Dovie Larkins Porter in Denver, Arkansas.
She married Lester Arvil Dorrell Aug. 19, 1933, in Denver. He died Sept. 23, 1986.
After her marriage she moved to Fowler where she lived until 1994. While in the Fowler area she worked for Dean VanBlarcium, D.D. S. for 18 years and was a homemaker. In 1994, she moved to Olathe before moving to Rocklin, Calif. within the last year.
She was a member of First Christian Church and was a former member of the Young Matrons, both of Fowler.
Survivors include two sons, Robert E. Dorrell, Watson, Ill. and Gary L. Dorrell, Wichita; four daughters, Peggy Roberts, Hayden, Idaho, Rita Clark, Rocklin, Calif., Cleta Norris, Hugoton, Linda Clark, Chandler, Ariz.; 25 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ted C. Porter, Chell Porter and Preston Porter.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church in Fowler with the Pastor Ranulfo Garza presiding.
Burial will be at Fowler Cemetery
in Fowler. Fidler-Orme in Meade is in charge of arrangements.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.
REV. EDWARD A. PIPER
BELOIT -- Rev. Edward A. Piper, 73, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003, at Cheyenne Lodge in Jamestown.
He was born Nov. 18, 1929, in Webster City, Iowa.
He married Patricia Piper. She died in 1989.
He was the Pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Survivors includes one son, Brian Piper, Grapevine, Texas; one daughter, Melissa Rogers, Liberal; one brother, Reverend Donald Piper, Silver Spring, Maryland; one sister, Carol Jean Wolff, Huntington, West Virginia; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church.
Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
Friends may visit until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at McDonald Funeral Home in Beloit.
Memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church.
JOHN G. GOOSEN
ADAMS -- John G. Goosen, 86, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2003 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Ark.
He was born May 4, 1917 on the homestead farm northeast of Adams, Okla.
He married Lucille Mires on Feb. 13, 1936. She died on Dec. 11, 1991
He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include four sons; Kenneth Goosen, Little Rock, Ark., Clarence Goosen and wife, Beverly, Harrah, Okla., John T. Goosen and wife, Michele, of Vancouver, Wash., Carl Goosen and wife, Linda, Little Rock, Ark.; one daughter Karen O'Rear and husband, Albert, Edmond, Okla.; nine grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday at the Church of Christ in Hooker, Okla. with Neville Buchannan officiating.
Burial will be at Hooker Cemetery
in Hooker, Okla.

ROGER D. BISHOP
ULYSSES -- Roger D. Bishop, 46, died Thursday, September 18, 2003, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
He was born Feb. 16, 1957, to Desmond and Linna (Kidd) Bishop in Mt. Clemends, Mich.
He married Vickie Kay Abel on August 10, 1985 in Ulysses. She survives.
He was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Ulysses. He enjoyed computers, television, music tapes and biblical tapes.
Other survivors include one son, Travis Straub and wife, Rachel, Ulysses; four daughters, Michelle Straub, Tyrone,Okla., Sarah Koehn and husband, Todd, Ulysses, Tiffany Bishop, Ulysses, Jessica Bishop, Ulysses; two brothers, Stan Bishop, and wife, Darlenea, New Baltimore, Mich., Dennis Bishop and wife, Trich, Waco, Texas; one sister, Georgiana Szymczak, New Baltimore, Mich.; one grandson,Ty Michael Straub, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Memorial services were Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Ulysses with Barry Hagerman presiding.
Burial will be at a later date.
Grant County Funeral Home in Ulysses in charge of arrangements.

RANDALL L. "RANDY" VANN
FOWLER -- Randall L. "Randy" Vann, 50, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003 in Kissimmee, Fla. from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born Jan. 15, 1953 in Fowler to Harry E. and Charlene (Cheney) Vann.
He graduated from Fowler High School in 1971. He attended the Liberal Area Vo-Tech and was attending the Harley Davidson Motorcycle Mechanics School in Orlando, Fla.
He worked for Poole Drilling, based out of Houston, Texas, where he drilled in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan for several years.
Survivors include two daughters; Teresa Herrera, Evans, Colo., and Heather Bliss, Honolulu, Hawaii;his mother, Charlene Vann, Fowler,;three sisters, Paulette Clover, Gatesville, Texas, Mary Jo Sobba, Rose Hill, and Janell Porter, Topeka, and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry E. Vann.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Fidler-Orme mortuary Chapel in Meade with the Pastor Scott Morin presiding.
Burial will be at Fowler Cemetery
in Fowler.
Friends may call Fidler-Orme Mortuary Chapel in Meade from 1 p.m. until 7p.m. on Friday.

ANDREA RAZO CABRERA
Andrea Razo Cabrera, 79, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2003, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
She was born Nov. 30, 1923, to Eugenio and Feliciana (Cabrera) Razo in Salamanca Gto, Mexico.
She married Gaspar Miranda Pescador July 30, 1949, in Salamanca Gto, Mexico. He died May 23, 1973.
She was a homemaker and farmer.
She was a member of Bethel Baptist Mission in Liberal.
She is survived by five sons, Cirilo Miranda and wife, Maria, Isabel Miranda and wife, Maria de Jesus, Marcelino Miranda and wife, Yolanda, Raul Miranda and wife, Maria, and Eduardo Miranda and wife, Maribell, all from Liberal; seven duaghters, Eva Miranda and husband, Jose, Mexico, Romana Miranda and husband, Transito, Mexico, Maria Miranda and husband, Manuel, Liberal, Rosario Miranda and husband, Armando, Liberal, Ofella Miranda and husband, Miguel, Mexico, Yolanda Miranda, Liberal, and Bertha Miranda and husband, Juan, Liberal; and one sister Iginia Razo Cabrera, Mexico; 58 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services are pending.
A Prayer Service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home.
Vistitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
