DARCY J. MUNSELL
Darcy Dean Munsell, 44, died Friday, March 28, 2003, in Liberal.
He was born March 24, 1959, to Lyman and Maxine (Brenton) Munsell.
He married Frances Jean Powell on Sept. 1, 1979, in Liberal.
He graduated from Liberal High School in 1977.
He worked for Purina Mills for more than 10 years, and also as a pumper for Anadarko for 15 years.
His hobbies included fishing and hunting and he had ridden bareback broncos and bulls.
He wa a member of Fellowship Baptist Church; former member of National Little Britches Rodeo Association; Tri-State High School Rodeo Association; and Kansas State Rodeo Association.
He was a lifetime resident of Liberal.
Survivors include, his mother; two sons, Brandon Dean Munsell and Heath Michael Munsell, of the home; three brothers, Doug Munsell and wife, Elaine, Liberal, Dick Munsell and wife, Betty, Woodward, Okla., and Dusty Munsell and wife, Becky, Calumet, Okla.; one sister, Sherri Castillo and husband, Paul, Liberal; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1-5 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home.

ROY A. MANCHESTER
Roy A. Manchester, 80, of Liberal, died Friday, March 28, at Southwest Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 22, 1922, to Abe and Cora (May) Manchester in Wamsley, Ohio.
He married A. Jane Ooley on Sept. 10, 1944, in Liberal. She survives.
He graduated from Jefferson High School in Blue Creek, Ohio.
He worked for Hood Chevrolet in Liberal for several years, and was also an insurance adjustor for 20 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.
He was a member of the V.F.W. Lane Day Post No. 3166 of Liberal.
He had been a Liberal resident since 1978.
Other survivors include, one daughter, Canda Lea Witt, Colorado Springs, Colo.; one brother, George Manchester, Blue Creek; one sister, Mary Hughes, Manchester, Ohio; and one grandson, Andy Witt, Colorado Springs; numerous other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no memorial services.
Inurnment will be at a later date.
Arrangements under the direction of Miller Mortuary.
ADDISON E. HATHAWAY
Addison Everett Hathaway, 88, died Friday, March 28, 2003, at Bob Wilson Memorial Grant County Hospital in Ulysses.
He was born May 17, 1914, to Lorenzo Hall and Lucy (Forrester) Hathaway in Stroud, Okla.
He married Helene Maxine Nix on Dec. 31, 1938, in Dewey Okla. She died on March 27, 2003.
He was owner of Culligan Water Conditioning in Hugoton.
He and his wife enjoyed traveling across the U.S., and sports.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and Masonic Lodge in Hugoton.
He was a former Hugoton resident.
Survivors include, three sons, Gary Hathaway and wife, Sonja, Ulysses, Rev. Ken Hathaway and wife, Jan, Liberal, Doyle Hathaway and wife, Allene, Olathe; one sister, Veva Simpler, Sornora, Texas; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Lawrence, Elzy, and Alva Hathaway; and two infant sisters.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Hugoton with the Rev. Don Koehn presiding.
Burial will be at Hugoton Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. today at Paul's Funeral Home in Hugoton.

ELLA M. LECLEAR
MEADE ญญ Ella Mae LeClear, 88, died Saturday, March 29, 2003, at Ashland District Hospital Long Term Care Unit in Ashland.
She was born Oct. 18, 1914, to Robert and Martha Mae (Granger) Mabery in Meade.
She married Roy I. LeClear on April 25, 1931, in Meade. He died June 22, 1965.
She graduated from Meade High School.
She was a retired nurses aide at Meade District Hospital after 25 years.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, The Golden Notes, and was active in the Beam Senior Center, all of Meade.
She was a lifetime resident of Meade.
Survivors include, two sons, Irvin D. LeClear, Emporia, and Donald R. LeClear, Ashland; one brother, Robert Mabery, Meade.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Everett L. LeClear; and one brother, Harry Buford Mabery.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Meade with the Rev. Harry Fink presiding.
Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery
in Meade.

BARBARA J. HEADY
MEADE ญญ Barbara June (Sanders) Heady, 64, died Sunday, March 30, 2003, at Meade District Hospital in Meade.
She was born Feb. 28, 1939, to Dwight Etter and Ella Marie (Miller) Moore in Caney.
She was a 1957 graduate of San Lorenzo High School in San Lorenzo, Calif.
She worked as a nurse's aid at Meade District Hospital for many years, and later was a self-employed caregiver.
She was a member of the Church of Christ for 64 years.
Survivors include, four daughters, Ronda K. Altman, Bonnie F. Sloss, and Tammy L. Eikman, all of Childress, Texas, and Sherri A. Gonzalez, Meade; one brother, Harold L. "Tracks" Moore, Stratford, Texas; her father; step-mother, Emma Etter, Wichita; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and step-father, William O. "Bill" Moore.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Fidler-Orme Mortuary Chapel in Meade with the Pastor Wayne Webb presiding.
Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Citizens Cemetery
in Claredon, Texas with the Pastors Bright Newhouse and Don Stone presiding.
Friends may call until 7 p.m. today at Fidler-Orme Mortuary in Meade.
