ROBERT OLSEN
Robert G. "Bob" Olsen, 82, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, at his home in Liberal.
He was born Dec. 25, 1920, to Andy and Inez (Morrell) Olsen in Liberal.
He married Wilma A. Andrews Oct. 29, 1961, in Perryton, Texas. She survives.
He graduated from Liberal High School.
He served in the US Army during World War II. He was also employed at Tradewinds Industries for several years. He began working for Northern Natural Gas in 1952, and retired in 1983.
Other survivors include, one son, Douglas Olsen and wife, Yong, Irvine, Colo.; three daughters, Renetha Abernathy, Turpin, Okla., Sandra Rigsby Shores, Tyrone, Okla., and Judy Rigsby Whitaker, Plainsville, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Erica Abernathy and Lilly Stanton, Turpin, Angie Olsen and Keegan Olsen, Irvine, Calif., Brent Shores, Tyrone, and Jeff Shores, Houston, Shane Whitaker, Ind., and Curtis Whitaker, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Raymond and Donald Dean Olsen; two sisters, Doris Olsen Sweeny, and Pauline Olsen Renick Owens.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Trinity Faith Church in Liberal with the Revs. Dee Estes and Harold Bollinger presiding.
Burial will be at Liberal Cemetery
in Liberal.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today, and from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday at Miller Mortuary in Liberal.

LORENE DORRIS-MORGAN
Lorene M. Dorris-Morgan, 78, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 2003, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
She had been a Liberal resident since 1955.
She was born March 31, 1924, to Edward and Violet (Lloyd) Rogers, in Mammoth Springs, Ark.
She married Earl Dorris June 10, 1941, in Bloomfield, Mo. He died Sept. 29, 1964.
She married Earl Morgan Oct. 7, 1971, in Amarillo, Texas. He died Sept. 30, 1983.
She worked as a nurse's aid at Epworth Hospital in Liberal, and many years as a childcare provider.
She was a member of the Calvary Mennonite Church in Liberal.
Survivors include, two sons, Jack Dorris and wife, Pam, Liberal, James Dorris and wife, Jane, Amarillo; one daughter, Janice Gowens, Liberal; one brother, Lewis Rogers, Homer, Mich.; three sisters, Ann Bowers, Thayer, Mo., Evelyn Haack, Homer, Mich., and Delinda Rogers, Peoria, Ill.; six grandchildren, Rosetta Serrano, Shelly Mesa, Tara Hall, Jeffrey Dorris, Monica Dorris, and Gary Pitzer; six great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Oscar, Lloyd, and Delbert.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Calvary Mennonite Church in Liberal with the Pastor Ervey Unruh presiding.
Cremation has taken place.

RANDALL MCLAUGHLIN
Randall "Randy" McLaughlin, 46, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
He was born Sept. 21, 1956, to Jack and Maxine (Elder) McLaughlin in St. Joseph, Mo.
He married Elizabeth "Liz" Davis March 25, 1997, in Liberal. She survives.
He had been a Liberal resident since 1969.
He graduated from Northern Colorado University in Greeley with a degree in chemistry.
He was the manager of By-product sales at National Beef.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church, both in Liberal.
Other survivors include, his mother, Clarendon, Texas; one son, Brady Davis, Liberal; one daughter, Tessa Davis, Liberal; four sisters, Debbie Sumner and husband, Dean, Rhonda McLaughlin, Rita Foster and husband, Clark, and Deanna Burkhart and husband, Jerry, all of Liberal; one granddaughter, Aubry Elizabeth Davis; eight nephews, Chad, Jesse, and Derek Sumner, Dustin and Preston Johnson, Mitchell Foster, Joshua Burkhart and Alan Burkhartt; and one niece, Kari Foster.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Liberal with the Rev. Ken Hathaway presiding.
Burial will follow at Liberal Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 until 9 p.m. today, and from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Kitch-Brenneman Funeral Home in Liberal.

KENNETH I. HOOK
Kenneth Ivan "K.I." Hook, 75, of Liberal, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, at Liberal Good Samaritan Center in Liberal.
He was born Oct. 5, 1927, to Floyd E. and Helen I. (Meyers) Hook in Tyrone, Okla.
He married Leone Barker on Nov. 21, 1946, in Clayton, N.M. She survives.
He attended school at Eureka High School in Baker, Okla.
He worked as a tool planner for Beech Aircraft for 38 years, working in Liberal 33 years, and Wichita five years. He retired in 1990.
Other survivors include, three daughters, Sherryl Kerr and husband, Ron, Tyrone, Carol Martin and husband, Gary, Parker, Colo., Sharon Jones and husband Orville, Turpin, Okla.; four brothers, George Hook, Baker, Donnie Hook, Surprise, Ariz, Charles Hook, Albuqurque, N.M., and Ausbie Hook, Enid, Okla; three sisters, Mary Lee Smith and Cordella Stalcup, both of Tyrone, and Caroline Herd, Chandler, Okla; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his father; one son; two infant brothers; one grandson; one great-grandson; and one great-granddaughter.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Tyrone Cemetery
in Tyrone with the Rev. Rex Petty presiding.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today, and from 8 a.m. until noon Saturday at Miller Mortuary in Liberal.
ETHEL M. BROWN
ELKHART Ethel Marie Brown, 77, died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart.
She was born Aug. 14, 1925, to Everett M. and Winnie (Black) Brown in Herington.
She had been a resident of Elkhart since 1976.
She was a homemaker.
Her hobbies included watching television, keeping house, and taking pictures of family.
She was a member of Elkhart Bible Baptist Church in Elkhart.
Survivors include, two brothers, Earl E. Brown and wife, Helen, Elkhart, and Theodore A. Brown, Hydro, Okla.; nieces and nephews, Gene Brown Jr. and wife, Diane, Teresa Davis and husband, Leo Alan, and Kay Lewis and husband, Randy, all of Elkhart; and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Garnand Funeral Chapel in Elkhart with the Rev. Terrell Giddens presiding.
Burial will be at Elkhart Cemetery
in Elkhart.

MONTEZUMA Kyler Deshawn Loewen, infant son of Cornelius and Laura Helen (Harder) Loewen Jr., died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, at the Women's Center in Dodge City.
Survivors include his parents; one sister, Shonsee Danae Loewen, Montezuma; grandparents, Jacob Harder and wife, Helen, Steineach Manitoba, Canada, and Cornelius and Mary Loewen Sr., Sublette; great-grandparents, Jacoby Harder and wife, Sara, Steineach; and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Valley View Bible Church in Cimarron with the Pastor Stuart Pederson presiding.
Burial will be at Copeland Cemetery
in Copeland.

HUGOTON Lloyd Wayne Stoops, 88, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, at Fort Collins Heath Care Center in Fort Collins, Colo.

Randall "Randy" McLaughlin, 46, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
