THOMAS G. HACKER
PLAINS Thomas "Tommy" Gilbert Hacker, 15, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, in a vehicle accident south of Plains.
He was born Jan. 23, 1987, to Joe Hacker, Jr. and Denise Dorsey in Meade.
He was a sophomore at Southwestern Heights High School in Kismet.
He was a member of "Frog Pond" Christian Youth Group in Plains.
Survivors include his father and mother, both of Plains; one brother, Jeremy Edward Hacker, Plains; one sister, Amanda Horner, Winfield; and one grandfather, Ed Amerin, Copeland.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers; two grandmothers; and his brother, Seth Bennet Francis Hacker.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Southwestern Heights High School in Kismet with the Pastors Dan Biernacki and JimDunn presiding.
Burial will be at Plains Cemetery
in Plains.
Friends may call from 10 a.m until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Fidler-Orme Mortuary in Meade.

KENNETH M. LEMASTERS
HUGOTON Kenneth Milton LeMasters, 77, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart.
He was born June 20, 1925, to Al and Frances (Dworshak) LeMasters in Oakland, Calif.
He married Betty Lou Heaton Dec. 4, 1943, in Alva, Okla. She preceded him in death.
He graduated from Benson Tech High School in Oakland, where he trained in the ROTC program.
He served in the United States Army during World War II, and was later discharged. He served as a police officer for the Hugoton City Police, and also as a deputy in Stevens County.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association, and a charter member of the V.F.W. in Hugoton. He was active with the Hugoton Senior Center.
His hobbies included camping, his family, fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycles.
Survivors include his companion, Faye DeWitt, Hugoton; two daughters, Sharon Karol, Berkeley, Calif., and Shannon Greenstreet and husband, Les, Great Bend; step-sister, Leola Hall, El Cerrito, Calif.; two granddaughters, Shonda Leighty-Walker and Heather Ochoa; four great-grandchildren, Celeste Walker, Izak Walker, Jaiden Ochoa, and Jerik Ochoa; mother-in-law, Fay Hagaman, Hugoton; son-in-law Dennis Leighty, Ulysses; numerous other relatives and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Sherry Leighty; two step-brothers; and one step-sister.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Assembly of God Church in Hugoton with the Minister Robert Bailey presiding.
Military graveside services will be at Hugoton Cemetery
in Hugoton.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at Paul's Funeral Home in Hugoton.

MARIE L MYERS
CIMMARON Marie Louise (Colby) Myers, 80, died Sunday Jan. 12, 2003, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. She was a former resident of Kalvesta.
She was born Jan. 16, 1922, to Walter Frank and Ruth Esther (Butterworth) Colby in Wichita.
She married Wallace Oscar Myers Sept. 18, 1949, in Garden City. He died May 10, 1978.
She worked at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, and she was a homemaker.
She was a member of Church of the Nazarene in Cimmaron, and the Cheerful Workers Club in Kalvesta.
Her hobbies included embroidering, and her grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Leonard Wallace Myers, Cimmaron, and Calvin Edward Myers and wife, Diana, Kalvesta; one daughter, Carolyn Joann Woltje and husband, Sam, Wright; one brother, Lorrin Colby, Franklin, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Amy Waddle and husband, Steve, Andrea Bernard and husband, Shay, Angie Hale and husband, Jerrod, Leslie and Chad Myers; one great-granddaughter, Kelsey Waddle; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Julia Colby; four brothers, Bob, Daniel, Wesley and Johnny Colby; and one sister, Geraldine Wilson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Church of the Nazarene in Cimmaron with the Rev. Randy Harrel presiding.
Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery
in Garden City.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and Wednesday at Haskell County Funeral Home in Sublette.
DONALD L. MCBEE
FOWLER Donald Lee McBee, 73, died Friday Jan. 10, 2003, at Meade District Hospital in Meade.
He was born Feb. 4, 1929, to Velma (Hardaway) Emberton in Fowler.
He married LaVonna Unzicker Nov. 12, 1953, in Liberal. She survives.
He graduated from Fowler High School in 1949.
He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War, and was a retired maintenance manager for the City of Fowler.
Other survivors include, two sons, Doyle McBee, Hooker, Okla., and Royce McBee, Dodge City; three daughters, Debra Hartman, Garden City, Jamie Lang and Leann Sobba, both of Fowler; two brothers, Paul Emberton, Thackerville, Okla., and Tom Emberton, Gainsville, Texas; two sisters, Joyce Nichols, Minneola, and Velda Thomas, Dodge City; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church in Fowler with the Rev. Roland Wolfe presiding.
Burial will be at Fowler Cemetery
in Fowler following services with Military Rites.

ARTHUR J. MCDANIEL
MEADE Arthur James McDaniel, 83, died Saturday Jan. 11, 2003, at Meade District Hospital in Meade.
He was born Nov. 4, 1919, to William and Effie Irene (Elliott) McDaniel in McAlister, Okla.
He married Gaynel Plymale March 3, 1954 in Perryton, Texas. She survives.
He had been a resident of Meade for four years
He served in the U. S. Army during WWII, and received the Bronze Star.
He was a member of the VFW and American Legion in Dodge City.
Other survivors include, two sons, Daniel Price, Westminster, Colo., and Francis "Red" Price, Dodge City; one daughter, Ruth Miller, Meade; one brother, Aubrey McDaniel, Ft. Smith, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Adolphe McDaniel; and one sister, Pansy Grattis.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fidler-Orme Mortuary Chapel in Meade with the Rev. Lynn Spencer presiding.
Burial will be at Fowler Cemetery
in Fowler.

KATHERINE J. CLASSEN
MEADE Katherine J. Classen, 89, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, at Meade District Hospital in Meade.
She was born May 18, 1913, to Jacob F. and Katherina (Friesen) Isaac in Meade.
She married Dick F. Classen on Sept. 8, 1935, in Meade. He died Feb. 27, 1989.
She was a lifetime resident of Meade.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Church of the Nazarene in Meade.
Survivors include, one son, Larry Classen and wife, Kaye, Meade; two daughters, Darlene Thiessen and husband, Norman, Lawrence, Connie Koesser and husband, Bob, Meade; five brothers, Ben Issac, Garden City, George and Abe Issac, both of Meade, Lee Issac, Hugoton, and Al Issac, Hillsboro; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathy Lesslie; one sister, Margaret Loewen; four brothers, Henry, Pete, Dick, John and Jake Isaac; and one grandchild.
Memorial celebration will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Meade Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Ron Willard and the Rev. Rusty Rhodes presiding.
A private family interment will take place before the service at Graceland Cemetery
in Meade.

GARDEN CITY Joshua Goytia, 9-months, died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City.
He was born April 14, 2002, to Adrian and Sandra (Villa) Goytia in Garden City.
Survivors include, his parents, Garden City; two brothers, Isaac Goytia and Iovan Goytia, both of the home; one sister, Itzel Goytia, of the home; grandparents, Cesarea Villa and wife, Celia, Liberal, Adela Talamantes Goytia, also of Liberal; great-grandparents, Crisofora Michel, Los Angeles, Calif., Susana Vargas, Liberal, and Luz Goytia, Mexico.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City with the Father Carlos Garcia Pena presiding.
Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery
in Garden City.
