Delilah Anna Seiler, 87, of Auburn, a member of North Leo Mennonite Church, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, at home.
The Henry County, Ohio, native was an avid gardener, quilter and homemaker. Surviving are sons Ed, Larry, Roland, and Ralph, all of Auburn, and Ronald of Spencerville; brothers Jesse and Reuben Liechty, both of Spencerville, and Richard Liechty of Fort Wayne; sisters Mildred Graber of Archbold, Ohio, Mary Stuckey of Spencerville, and Ruth Shue of Sarasota, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, and two brothers. Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at North Leo Mennonite Church, with calling one hour before services. Calling is also from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the church fellowship hall. Burial will be at Leo Memorial Park cemetery. Memorials are to the DeKalb Memorial Hospital Hospice or Mennonite Women Sewing Circle.

Helen I. Geyer, 77, of Decatur, a member of Decatur Church of God, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002, at Adams County Memorial Hospital.
The Mercer County, Ohio, native was a homemaker and a 4-H and Cub Scout leader. Surviving are her husband, Verlyn R.; a daughter, Darlene K. Johnson of Hudson; sons Edwin W. of Decatur, and Roger A. of New Haven; a brother, Jesse E. Michaud of Willshire, Ohio; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services are 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Decatur Church of God, Decatur, with calling one hour before services. Calling is also from 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 p.m. today at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur. Brandi Lynn Reece, 8, of Warren, a member of Hillcrest Church of the Nazarene, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002, in Warren.
The Andrews, Texas, native attended third grade at Salamonie School and was a member of the Huntington Parks and Recreation Soccer League. Surviving are her parents, Bruce L. and Lesa L. of Warren; brothers Bruce II and Brandon, both at home; and grandparents James and Ann Hornbuckle of Odessa, Texas, Claude and Mary Williamson and Melinda Reece, all of Warren, and Earl and Lee Reece of Clyde, N.C. Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Church of the Nazarene. Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Glancy Funeral Homes, H. Brown & Son Chapel, Warren. Gerald A. Bowerman, 69, of Ashley, a member of the Moose Lodge, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. "He loved his grandchildren very much." The Angola native, who was an avid summer fisherman and gardener, retired in 1996 after 36 years as an assemblyman at Auburn Gear. Surviving are his wife, Rosalie; sons Joseph of Goshen, and Clay of Hudson; daughters Heidi Bidlack of Angola, and Tina Lepper of Bronson, Mich.; a brother, Jay of Angola; a half brother, Billy E. Gipple of Hamilton; a stepbrother, Max Gipple of Ashley; sisters Ruth Everitts of Hamilton, and Mary Getts of Kendallville; a step-sister, Violet Wysong of Fort Wayne; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a brother and a half brother. Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Weicht Funeral Home, Angola, with calling from 2 to 8 p.m. today. Giles F. Heroy, 87, of Angola, a member of the Adrian Elks Club, died Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002, at Lakeland Nursing Center.
The Steuben County native retired in 1966 as vice president of Stubnitz-Greene division of Hoover Universal Inc. He also co-owned Angola Wire Products Inc. Surviving are sons Michael G. of Angola, and David F. of Chicago. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose A., and a sister. Services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, with calling from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at California cemetery, Branch County, Mich. Memorials are to the Giles F. and Rose A. Heroy Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Thelma H. Lawson, 80, of Antwerp, Ohio, a member of First Baptist Church of Antwerp, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, in Ken-dallville, Ind.
The Van Wood, W.Va., native worked for 23 years at General Electric. Surviving are a daughter, Colene Martin of Kendallville, Ind.; sons Edd of Fort Wayne, and Bill of Rheinmein Air Force Base, Frankfort, Germany; a sister, Macie Thompson of Shady Springs, W.Va.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl. Services are noon Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Antwerp, Ohio, with calling one hour before services. Calling is also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. (Ohio times) today at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, Ohio. Burial will be at Concordia cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne, Ind. The Canton, China, native was a rice farmer in China and also worked in the meat department at Goody's Super Market in Chinatown in Chicago. Surviving are his wife, Mei Yue Lin of Chicago; daughters Li Na Mei Zhen of Winona Lake, and Li Yun Mei of Canton, China; a son, Li Wei Mei of Canton, China; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister. There are no services. Calling is from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Burial will be at Lindenwood cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley, a daughter; and a brother.
