Dorotha J. Volz

Dorotha J. Volz, 88, of Anderson, died Friday Aug. 22, 2003, at her residence after a sudden illness.
She was born Oct. 6, 1914, in Hamilton County, the daughter of Lewis and Minnie (McClintock) Justice. Dorotha attended Arcadia High School and lived in Anderson since 1941, retiring in 1980 from Guide Lamp after 37 years of service. She was a member of the South Anderson United Methodist Church and the Royal Neighbors.
Survivors include a niece, Sandra Wells of Indianapolis; a nephew, Steve Hodson of Arcadia; five great-nieces and great-nephews; and 10 great-great nieces and great-great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest W. Volz; two sisters, Velma Volz and Rena Hodson; and a brother, Carl Justice.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, officiated by the Rev. John Hackney of South Anderson United Methodist Church. Burial will take place at Arcadia Cemetery
in Arcadia.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contribution may be made to the South Anderson United Methodist Church, 4100 Main St., Anderson, IN 46016.
Donald G Pyle
LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- Donald G. Pyle, 77, died Aug. 20, 2003.
He coached and taught in Anderson schools from 1956 to 1964 and coached football at Anderson College in 1961 and '62.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Pyle; two daughters Kerry (husband, Mike) Williams and Kathy (husband, Steve) Zablocki; a son, Mike (wife, Sharol) Pyle; his sister, Charlyse Lipman; two brothers, Merrill Pyle and Kendall (wife, Wanda) Pyle; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lakewood Church of Christ, 455 S. Youngfield, Court, Lakewood, Colo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to: Wheat Ridge High School, Don Pyle Scholarship Fund, c/o Diane Hamilton, 9505 W. 32nd Ave., Lakewood, CO 80003.
Arrangements are being handled by Aspen Mortuary, Lakewood, Colo.

ELWOOD -- Rose Collier, 73, died Aug. 23, 2003, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. Arrangements are pending at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood.
Helen M. Rariden

Helen M. (Mattingly) Rariden, 93, of Anderson, died Aug. 21, 2003, following an extended illness.
She was born Sept. 26, 1909, in Anderson where she lived her entire life.
In 1978, she retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 48 years of employment.
She was a member of New Horizon Methodist Church; United Auto Workers Local 662; and Y Matrons.
Survivors include her daughter, Janet M. (husband, Earl Brooks) McKinney of Anderson; her sister, Amelda (husband, Norman) Grant of Anderson; a grandson, Raymond McKinney; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Rariden, in 1969; her parents, William Francis and Sarah Frances (Jackson) Mattingly; a sister, Susie Jordan; and three brothers, Joseph Mattingly, Earl Mattingly and Cecil Mattingly.
Private services will be held, officiated by Pastor Dennis Zirkle. Burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.

Wilburn C. Fisher

Wilburn C. Fisher, 82, of Anderson, died Aug. 21, 2003, at the home of his son following an extended illness.
He was born Oct. 3, 1920, in Mecca, Ind., and had resided in this area since 1940.
In 1980, he retired as a tool and die maker from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 40 years of service.
He was a veteran who served his country in the U.S. Army during World War I in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of Bethany Christian Church and of UAW Local 662.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Betty (Thompson) Fisher of Anderson, whom he married in Marion; a daughter, Connie Plough of Anderson; a son, Jeffrey "Kent" and wife Ann Fisher of Middletown; his sister, Maryellen Bradley of Russiaville; four grandchildren, Jon (wife, Tiffany) Plough, Misty Plough, Douglas (wife, Sherri) Fisher and James (wife, Vodkay) Fisher; great-grandchildren, Cassie Fisher, Kaylee Fisher, Alexis Fisher, Shaina Jenkins, Kelsey Ann Plough, Taylor Jo Plough; and several nieces and nephews. He was a father figure to Jon and Misty.
A special thanks to nurse Betty Hopkins and Drs. Kevin Luksus and Larry Blankenship.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Essie (Baldwin) Fisher; a grandson, Gregory Alan Plough; and a brother, William Fisher
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, co-officiated by Robert Bell and Randy Wood. Burial, with military graveside rites, will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the South Chapel.
Contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
Ronald L. Arehart
June 11, 1956 - Aug. 22, 2003
ELWOOD - Ronald Lee Arehart, 47, died Aug. 22, 2003, at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital, Elwood.
He was a construction worker; formerly employed by General Cage.
Survivors include his parents, William and Jeanne (Padfield) Arehart; former wife, Patti Waymire; three daughters, Nikki Riser, Amber Arehart and fiancé, Jeremy Lane; and Tisha (husband, Clayton) Huff; two brothers, Steve (wife, Ruth) Arehart and Jeff (wife, Debbie) Arehart; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dunnichay Funeral Home, 1113 S. Anderson St., Elwood, officiated by the Rev. Jesse Wolf. Burial will take place at Elwood Cemetery.
Visitation hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Rhonda L. Mullikin

Rhonda Lynn Mullikin, 49, of Anderson, died Aug. 22, 2003, at ManorCare, Anderson following an extended illness.
She was born July 14, 1954, in Anderson where she lived her entire life
She was a graduate of Pendleton High School, Class of 1972, and a 1978 graduate of Indiana Business College.
She worked at Americana Health Care Center (ManorCare) and then at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis.
Survivors include two sisters, Carolyn (husband, Bob) Haskett of Anderson and Peggy Jo Jennings of Deming, Ind.; five nieces, Theresa (husband, Chuck) Massingill of Sheridan, Kristina (husband, Rick) Dillinger of Deming, Dee Ann (husband, Keith) McKennie of Westfield, and Toni (husband, Joe) Staggs and Tina Rhea Holding, all of Anderson; a nephew, William "Bill" (wife, Karen) Haskett of Hartford City; eight great-nephews and four great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph H. and Jean (Coleman) Mullikin; two sisters, Mary Jean Mullikin and Susan Jane Mullikin; two nephews, Jerry Lee McGuire and Ray Massingill; and a nephew-in-law, Christopher Holding.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, officiated by Dr. Paul Krebs.
There will be no visitation.
