Brian Douglas Daulton

Brian Douglas Daulton, 53, of Washington Court House, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at home.
Brian was born on June 5, 1959 in Lafayette at St. Elizabeth Hospital to the late Dinzle Daulton and Hazine (Burton) Daulton Felix.
On August 16, 1980, he married Brenda Sue Spear in Talbot, Indiana; she preceded him in death on April 8, 2004.
Brian was a truck driver for Unisource in Columbus, Ohio.
Brian was a Cowboys and Cubs Fan. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, motorcycles, and hot rods.
Brian is survived by his mother, Hazine Felix (husband: Jim Felix) of Lafayette; sons, Brandon Daulton (fiancée: Terri Ferrell) and Daniel Daulton (companion: Erin May) of Washington Court House, Ohio; a daughter, Kristi Daulton (companion: Ben Sweeney) of Berea, Kentucky; a brother, Terry Daulton (wife: Shirley) of Americus; and sister-in-laws, Barb Spear-Jones and Judy Daulton of Lafayette. Also surviving are grandchildren, Makenna and Daymion Daulton and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dwight Daulton; his father, Dinzle Daulton; and his mother-in-law, Donna Spear.
Services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Brian White officiating. Interment will follow at Locust Grove cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Favorite sports attire is encouraged.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brian Daulton Memorial Fund to help the family with funeral expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Geneva Ellen Greene
Geneva Ellen (Crider/Hill) Greene, 84, of Bloomington passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Richland Bean Blossom Health Care Center following an extended illness.
She was born Feb. 15, 1927 in Bloomington to Marion and Shirley (Wray) Crider. She attended Bloomington High School and retired from RCA after 35 years. Geneva loved being outdoors, flowers, sewing, cooking, canning, animals and taking care of grandchildren.
Geneva is survived by four children; daughters, Geneva Duncan and husband Roy and Shirley Kirby all of Ellettsville; sons, Michael Hill of Ellettsville, and Paul Greene of Bloomington; sisters, Pat Crider and Mary Crider both of Bloomington; brother, George Crider of Bloomington; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; great grandson, Joey Duncan and nephew, Travis Crider.
Funeral services will be held at Chandler Funeral Home on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Sunday May 15, 2011 from 2:00 until 6:00 at the funeral home.

Eileen Malm Murphy
May 25, 2013
Eileen Malm Murphy, 95 of Logansport, formerly of Lockport, IL, passed away peacefully at 5:24 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013 in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born July 5, 1917 in Joliet, IL, she was the daughter of the late Gustaf and Ellen Nelson Malm. She was married May 21, 1946, to Donald C. Murphy who preceded her in death May 11, 1999.
A 1936 graduate of Joliet Township High School, Eileen was associated with the L.H. Piepenbrink Insurance Agency for 18 years. In 1977, she retired from the City of Lockport where she had worked as an administrative clerk for several years.
Eileen was a member of St. Dennis Catholic Church and the St. Dennis Altar and Rosary Society. She was a charter member of St. Elizabeth Circle of the Daughters of Isabella, the Lockport Women's Club and the Lockport Golf and Recreation Club.
Eileen moved to Logansport 2 1/2 years ago, after living in Lockport, IL since 1955. Never too old to make new friends, she loved her new home and the residents and caregivers at the McKinney House Assisted Living Center.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Duffy and Diana Murphy of Culver, IN and Daniel Lora Murphy of Lemont, IL; one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah Chris Piazza of Lockport, IL; 8 Grandchildren, Brandon Rutter, Chris Amy Piazza Jr., Darby Murphy, Kelly Brian O'Leary, Sean Blair Murphy, Trevor Murphy, Kevin Murphy and Paige Murphy; 5 Great-Grandchildren, Christopher Piazza, Jackson Piazza, Chloe Piazza, Brody Murphy and Benjamin O'Leary; one sister-in-law, Lorraine Malm; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Viola Frojd, Marion Watts, Violet Salman and Pearl Sheeler; and one brother, Gustaf Malm, Jr.
A private family service will be held at St. Dennis Catholic Church, Lockport, IL. Inurnment will follow in the Resurrection cemetery, in Romeoville, IL.
Expressions of sympathy may be made with a memorial contribution to the St. Dennis Catholic Church, 1214 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fisher Funeral Chapel Cremation Services, Logansport, IN.

Vera L. Healey
December 07, 1933 - May 15, 2013
Former Logansport resident Vera L. Healey, 79, of King, NC, passed away at 1:36 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in Universal Healthcare Center, in King, North Carolina.
Born December 7, 1933, in Tyler Town, Mississippi, she was the daughter of Fleet S. and Ruth (Simmons) Magee. On April 19, 1959, in McComb, Mississippi, she was married to Lawrence R. Healey who preceded her in death August 12, 2001.
A homemaker, Vera was a 1953 graduate of Progress High School in Mississippi.
She was a former member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and Victory Baptist Church. Vera was an accomplished seamstress who enjoyed quilting andembroidery.
Her family includes two sons, Lawrence Dale Healey, of King, NC, and Lloyd David Healey, of Logansport; sisters, Mary Strayband, of Osyka, Mississippi and Anna L. Magee, of Jackson Mississippi; a brother, Charles Edward Magee, who is deceased.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2013, in Fisher Funeral Chapel, 1801 Chase Road, Logansport.
Burial will follow in Paint Creek cemetery, Camden, Indiana.
Friends may call from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013, in the funeral chapel.
Memorial contributions in Vera's memory may be made to the Victory Baptist Church.

Renee Berghefer
January 05, 1968 - May 11, 2013
Renee Berghefer, 45, of Loganpsort, passed away at 5:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013, in her home.
Born January 5, 1968, in Gary, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Betty Farlene Berghefer.
There will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Fisher Funeral Chapel Cremation Services.

Concetta Tina Hamilton
March 03, 1925 - May 03, 2013
Concetta “Tina” Hamilton, born March 3, 1925 in Naples, Italy, age 88, died on May 3, 2013 at IU Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana.
She moved to the United States in 1946 after marrying Edwin Hamilton in Italy in 1945.
She is survived by her brother, Ciro Schioppa from Naples, Italy; her sons, Charles Hamilton from Elk Grove, California and Edward (Patricia) Hamilton from Rossville, Indiana; four grandchildren, Tammy (Curt) Andrade from Troy, Ohio; Vicki (Bill) Prosser from Pollock Pines, California; Candace (Hamilton) Uselton from Flora, Indiana; and Derrick (Melissa) Hamilton from Bringhurst, Indiana; nine great-grandchildren, Michala and Steven from Troy, Ohio; Shawn, Justin, and Derek from California; Stephanie from Flora, Indiana; Dylan, Haley and Alanna from Bringhurst, Indiana; a great-great-granddaughter, Alyssa from California; a future great-great-grandson, Mathias from Flora, Indiana; and three nephews from Italy.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Luigi and Pace Schioppa; her sister, Nicolette Sais; her husband, Edwin Hamilton; her daughter, Elizabeth Jane Hamilton; and her daughter-in-law Nancy Hamilton.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel, Lafayette, with Pastor Jason Lefler officiating.
Friends may call from 4 to the time of service.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delphi, or the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in West Lafayette. Envelopes will be made available at the funeral home.

Amanda "Amy" Lynn Stingley
February 26, 1972 - May 01, 2013
Amanda “Amy” Lynn Stingley, 41, of Lafayette, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2013.
Amy was born on February 26, 1972 in Lafayette, to Tom and Debbie (Harshbarger) Stingley.
She graduated from Lafayette Jeff High School in 1990. Following graduation, she was a homemaker.
Amy’s hobbies included spending time with her family friends, and watching TV. She enjoyed collecting, and reading books, including the Bible.
She was baptized at St. James Lutheran Church.
Amy is survived by her companion, Frank Gonzalez; two sons, Rico Gonzalez of Lafayette and Micah Parmaley of Clarks Hill; one brother, Michael (Amber) Stingley of Monticello; and one sister, Nicole (Chris) Vaughn of Lafayette.
A Private Memorial Service will be held for Amy.

Gary Gordon Light
March 04, 1945 - May 02, 2013
Gary Gordon Light, 68, passed away on May 2, 2013 in Cape Coral, Florida.
He was born on March 4, 1945 to the late Mable Ratclift and Gordon Light.
Gary graduated from Goodland High School and Purdue University. He started Light House Home Center in Lafayette. He also owned his own real estate company in Cape Coral, Florida.
Surviving are a daughter, Jan Robertson (Darrell Graves); a granddaughter, Falon; a sister, Janice "Jan" Wright (Rex) of Wolcott; a nephew, Doug Wright (Terri) of Lafayette; a niece, Colleen Wright of Florida; a half sister, Sheila Light; and step-mother, Joetta Light of Goodland.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie and his wife, Cindy.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Fisher Funeral Chapel, Lafayette at 7:30 p.m. Friends may call from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Almost Home Animal Shelter.

Tammy L. Scott
October 02, 1972 - May 17, 2013
Mother, Wife, Sister, and Daughter
Tammy L. Scott, 40, of Dayton, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2013 in her home.
She was born on October 2, 1972 in Kokomo, IN to Barbara (Farrell) Shaw.
Tammy graduated from Lafayette Jeff High School in 1990 and went on to graduate from Gemology School.
On August 12, 2011, she married Alan Scott on the beach in Clearwater, Florida; he survives.
Tammy loved to ride Harley-Davidson motorcycles, go on vacation to the beach in Clearwater, play games, and spend time with her family.
Tammy is survived by her husband, Alan Scott of Dayton; her mother, Barbara Shaw of Lafayette; her children, Jordan DeBoy of Lafayette, Keely Barnett and Masun Barnett of West Lafayette; her step children, Justin Scott and Dylan Scott of Dayton; and her brother, Tim White (wife: Tracy). Also surviving are her Uncle Steve and Aunt Eva Farrell; her nephew and niece, Sebastian and Ashley; and cousins, Dustin Morris and Cindi DiSimone.
Services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Grandview cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel. Casual dress is encouraged.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Autism Society of Indiana. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Rex B. Grant
July 27, 1941 - May 06, 2013
Rex B. Grant, 71 of Warsaw, IN, formerly of Logansport, went to be with his Lord at 5:20 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2013 in his beloved Hoffman Lake home.
Born July 27, 1941 in Logansport, Indiana, he was the son of the late Rev. Paul Arthur and Ruby V. Gooch Grant. He was married March 19, 1983, in Kokomo to Martha Carter Grant, who survives.
A 1959 graduate of Logansport High School, Rex graduated from the Grand Rapids Bible School in 1964. In 1998, he graduated from the Andersonville College with a Bachelors degree in Theology.
Rex was employed at Chrysler for 30 years while serving as a minister for 50 years in South Holland, Illionis at Bible Fellowship Church and then Grace Fellowship Church in Logansport, Indiana. He loved to preach the Word rightly divided and Grace for all.
Rex loved to travel and camp. He took the "trip of a lifetime" when he traveled with his wife to Alaska. Rex had a passion for photography, woodworking, flea marketing and collecting.
Surviving with his wife are five children, Jeff Grant of Santa Clara, CA, Evon Grant (fiancee Kelly) of Kokomo, IN, Pam Bogan (Jay) of Noblesville, IN, Mike Grant (April) of West Middleton, IN and Marlea Williams (Fred) of Milltown, IN; Brother, Paul Grant, of Avon, IN; one sister-in-law, Janis M. Grant, of Kokomo, IN; and nine grandchildren whom Rex dearly loved: Nicholas, Samantha, Owen, Aidan, Jessalyn, Emily, Michael, Johnathan and Sydney.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ken Grant, in January 2013.
A funeral service will be held at Fisher Funeral Chapel, 1801 Chase Road, Logansport, IN at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2013 with Pastors Jay McKinley and Arley Mitchem officiating.
Interment will follow in the Ever Rest Memorial Park, Logansport, IN.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service in the funeral chapel.
Memorials in memory of Rex may be made to the Grace Fellowship Church, 1701 East Market, Logansport, IN 46947.
