Anderson - George F. Abney, 81, Anderson, died March 31, 2004 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after an extended illness.
He was born January 25, 1923 in Madison County, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. He lived in the Madison County Area all of his life.
He retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 39 years of service.
He received the Purple Heart while serving his country during WWII in the US Marine Corp.
He was a member of the Fall Creek Conservation Club, Marine Raiders, National Rifle Association and the UAW Local #662. He was an avid fisherman, outdoorsman, gardener and enjoyed being outdoors. He loved being a grandfather and great grandfather and was a wonderful husband and father to his children.
He is survived by his Wife who he married
March 10, 1945: Joan (Heath) Abney. Four Children: Michael & wife Debbie Abney of Anderson. Vici & husband Terry Schlabach of Wilkinson. Holly & husband Ross Fadely of Wilkinson. Shelley & husband Dan Calvert of Pendleton. Sister: Allamae Cram. Twelve Grandchildren and Fourteen Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces & Nephews. Special Friends: Junior & Sue Franklin. Gene & Joan Brumfield.
He was preceded by his Parents: George W. & Ruth (Franklin) Abney. Sister: Jane Castor.
Memorial Service will be Sunday, April 4, 2004 at 2:30 PM, at at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel; 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson, with Rev. John Day officiating.
Cremation will take place.
Visitation will be from 12:30-2:30 PM on Sunday, April 4, 2004 at funeral home, south chapel.
Military rites will be by the VFW Post #266.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association.
Brenda Lou Juskewicz
Brenda Lou (Hawkins) Valday-Juskewicz, 65, of Solsberry died at her home on Sunday, July 17, 2011.
She was born on July 24, 1945 to Roy C. Hawkins and June D. (May) Hawkins. Brenda was a hairdresser in Holiday, FL for twenty years. She was of the Pentecostal Faith.
Brenda is survived by her husband, David Juskewicz; children, Kimberly Joyce Hanson (Steve) of Sanford, FL, Timothy Lee Burton (Tonya) of Sulpher Springs, TX, Crystalee Ann Schultz (Timothy) of Solsberry, Luann Reihle (Ted), Keith Anderson, and David Kellenberger all of Lafayette; brothers, Steve Hawkins of Hudson, FL and Keith Hawkins of Tampa; sister, Teresa Przybylski of Tampa; fourteen grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother; infant brother, Paul, and sister, Linda King.
Funeral services will be held at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Presbyterian cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 4-8.

Anderson - James E. Aaron, 75, Anderson, died May 9, 2004 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana.
He was born June 11, 1928 in Tiptonville, Tennessee, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. He lived in this area since 1951.
He worked for Nicholson File as a foreman, retiring in 1971. He worked for South Madison School Corporation, retiring in 1991.
He served his country in the US Army during WWII and the Korean War.
He was a member of Madison Masonic Lodge #44 F. & A.M. and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #266. James was baptised in the Baptist faith and was ready to go meet his Lord and Savior. He loved his grandchildren, family and friends. He will be sadly missed so much by all.
He is survived by his Wife whom he married
January 5, 1952 in Charleston, Missouri: Mildred (Hampton) Aaron. One Daughter: Patricia "Patty" Clegg of Fishers. Three Grandchildren: Allison Clegg of Pendleton, Jonathon Clegg of Pendleton and Aaron J. "AJ" Clegg of Fishers. One Great Granddaughter: Madison Arthur. Several Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded by his Parents: Ellis & Carrie (Brentley) Aaron. Two Sisters: Dorothy Mayo and Juanita Cathey.
Services will be Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at 1:00 PM, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel. 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson, with Rev. John A. Herfurth officiating.
Burial will be in Grovelawn cemetery, Pendleton.
Visitation will be from 4-8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at funeral home, south chapel.
Military Rites will be by the VFW Post #266.
Mr. Marvin L. Stuckwisch
Mr. Marvin L. Stuckwisch, 78, of Seymour, passed away at 2:10 AM, Saturday, November 15th, 2008 at his residence
Marvin was born in Seymour, on October 5, 1930, the son of Edwin H. and Lydia M. (Wagner) Stuckwisch. On October 20, 1951 he married
Betty (Williams) Stuckwisch at Immanuel Lutheran Parsonage.
Marvin worked at Cummins Engine Co. for over 34 years before his retirement in 1985. He was an avid sports fan and loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Seymour Elks Lodge #462
Besides his wife of over 57 years Marvin is survived by two daughters, Pamela Jane (Dennis) Klinge and Donna Jo (Ron) Pollert, four sisters, Matilda Bode, Gertrude (Harold) Sutton, Barbara (Don) Williams, Carolyn Staley, two brothers, Ervin (Janet) Stuckwisch, James (Lois) Stuckwisch, a sister-in-law Brenda Stuckwisch, six grandchildren, Heather (Hung) Nguyen, Allison (Josh) Kline, Elizabeth Klinge, Kyle Klinge, Adam (Stacy) Pollert and Ian Pollert, two great- grandchildren, Ellen Nguyen and Collin Pollert.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Kenneth Stuckwisch and a sister, Mildred Lynch.
Funeral Services will be held at Voss Chapel on Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at 10:30 AM with Reverend Ralph Blomenberg and Reverend Philip Bloch officiating.
Burial will be at Riverview cemetery.
Friends may call at Voss Chapel on Tuesday Nov. 18, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM and after 9:30 AM on Wednesday until the time of service.
Memorial checks may be written to Lutheran Hour or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Jo Ann Thompson
Jo Ann Thompson, 82, of Seymour, passed away at 11:35 AM, Friday, October 17, 2008, at Lutheran Community Home
Mrs. Thompson was born in Brownstown, IN, on April 8, 1926, the daughter of Frank B. and Pauline E. (Schneider) Gray.
On March 27, 1949, at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Brownstown, with Rev. Theo. J. E. Herrmann officiating, she married
James Temple Thompson. He preceded her in death on July 10, 2007.
Jo Ann was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker and a great source of support to her husband. She graduated from Purdue University in 1948 majoring in Home Economics. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi and Psi Iota Xi. She was a dedicated volunteer and devoted many hours to the Boys Club, Cub Scouts, Church Supper Committee, as well as belonging to the Bridge Club and Embroidery Guild.
Jo Ann is survived by one daughter; Ann Louise (Rick) Taylor, two sons; James Thomas (Sylvia) Thompson, Robert David (Teresa) Thompson. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; James Harrison Thompson, Natalie Sichman, Christin Sichman, Nikki (Johnson) Helmuth, Katie Taylor, and Andrew Taylor, brother; Frank "Bud" (Wanda) Gray.
Besides her husband, she is preceded by her parents, and sister; Barbara Ellen Schreiner.
Services will be held at Voss Chapel on Tuesday, October 21, at 10:30 AM with Rev. Edgar Keinath officiating.
Burial will be at Riverview cemetery with a Voss Dove Tribute.
Friends may call at Voss Chapel on Monday, from 4:00-8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until time of service.
Memorials may be written to the James T. Thompson Scholarship Fund or the First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her Two Daughters: Pam Allen and Lori Brown. One Son: Chris Darr. One Sister: Judy Webber. Four Grandchildren. Several Nieces & Nephews.
She was preceded by her Husband Albert Darr in 1991.
Services will be Saturday, June 1, 2002 at 1:00 pm, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, South Chapel. 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson, with Pastor Jim Rogers and Pastor Jim Lyons of North Anderson Church of God officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery, Anderson .

Anderson - Margaret K. (Rasener) Roberts Harrington, 88, Anderson, died September 21, 2002 at Countryside Manor, Anderson after an extended illness.
She was born September 10, 1914 in Mt. Comfort, in Hancock County, to Emmett and Edith Rasener and lived most of her life in the Anderson area.
She retired from Anderson Laundry and Cleaning (ALAC) in 1964.
She was a member of Bethany Christian Church and a 50 year member of the Daleville Order of the Eastern Star #568.
She is survived by her three daughters Janet St. Clair of Anderson, JoAnne Sunderman of Anderson and Jenny & husband Jim Wilson of Nashville, TN; a daughter-in-law Georgia Roberts of Anderson; eleven grandchildren Laura McCord, Tracy Roberts, Michael Roberts, Brenda McCoy, Dee Ann Johns all of Anderson, Kim McClain, Kristan Mashburn, Kerri Egbert of Nashville, TN, Kelli Crandall of Pendleton, Julie Gerhardt of Noblesville and Ryan Sunderman of Fishers. Also surviving is one sister Norma Stum of Greenfield; a step-son Jim Harrington of Muncie, several nieces and nephews and nineteen great grandchildren..
She was preceded by her preceded in death by her parents Emmett Imel & Edith Mae (Ashcraft) Rasener, one brother, one sister, her first husband Rex Roberts, her second husband to whom she was married
for 38 years Harold Harrington, two sons Stephen Roberts and Richard Roberts and one grandson Rick Roberts.
Services will be Tuesday, September 24, 2002 at 10:00 AM, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Rev. Jim Wilson officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery, Anderson.
Visitation will be from 4-7:00 PM on Monday, September 23, 2002 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Home, South Chapel.
