GEORGE-ANNE THRUSH “AUNT-BEE” BROOKS, 78, died June 1, 2003, at Hoosier Village Healthcare Center.
She was born on April 7, 1925, in Indianapolis to Harrison Porter and Glen-Ethel Stelhorn Thrush, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Brooks married
Harold E. Brooks at Central Christian Church in Indianapolis on April 15, 1944. He preceded her in death July 30, 1993. Her daughter, Carol Lenore Brooks, also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and very active in Pike Township. She was a member of North Liberty Christian Church, a volunteer at the Children’s Museum, where she received the Mayor’s Volunteer Partnership Award from Mayor Goldsmith in 1998, member and past president of American Legion Auxiliary Big Eagle Post 96, which merged with Auxiliary Post 3 in Broad Ripple, and was very active with Pike Township Girl Scouts.
She is survived by sons John “Randy” and Clark E. Brooks; daughters Sylvia L. Brooks and Lisa K. Smith; grandchildren Stephanie and Courtney Brooks, Sarah, Andy and Jacob Smith, Steve Carpenter, Andrew and Michael Maluck and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wed., June 4, 2003, at North Liberty Christian Church, Rev. Ed Mauer to officiate, with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tues., June 3, 2003, at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center – Zionsville. Burial will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown, following services.
Memorial contributions may be made to North Liberty Christian Church Mission Fund or charity of choice.

JO ELLEN McCRADY AUGUSTIN, 77, Indianapolis, died June 1, 2003.
Mrs. Augustin was retired. She had affiliations with Epworth United Methodist Church, Riviera Club, Oasis, Murat Temple, Ambassadair Travel Club, and she was an avid bridge player.
Mrs. Augustin was the widow of Charles Andrew Augustin. Survivors include: daughters Judy Cope, Lisa Dickinson, and Susie Klingensmith; son Drew Augustin; brother Frank E. McCrady; 12 grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the church, Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, or the American Cancer Society.
Funeral services: 11 a.m. June 4 in Epworth United Methodist Church, with call from 4 to 8 p.m. June 3 at the church. Interment: Crown Hill cemetery.

CAROLYN L. WATKINS, 56, Indianapolis, died June 2, 2003.
She was currently employed at International Print Fest. Mrs. Watkins attended Tech High School and was a graduate of Speedway School of Cosmetology.

HUGH B. CASH, 79, of Ormond Beach, Florida, formerly of Noblesville, passed away Saturday, May 31.
He was an avid fisherman and beach-goer. Mr. Cash retired in 1975 from Firestone Products, Noblesville, after 13 years of service.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 6, in Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center – Carmel with interment to follow in Crownland cemetery, Noblesville. Friends may visit Thursday, May 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral center.
In addition to his daughter Donna S. Peyton, he is survived by a son Steven H. Cash and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one grandchild.

Ruth L. Moore
Ruth L. Moore, 93, of Ellettsville passed away at IU Health-Bloomington Hospital on Tuesday, March 22, 2011.
She was born on February 16, 1918 in Monroe County into the home of William King and Estella (Tomlinson) King. Ruth attended school at Waterworks Elementary and graduated from Bloomington High School in 1936. After school she worked at RCA and Leonards Home Laundry. On May 2, 1949 Ruth married
Clarence Moore. She was a charter member of the Zion Community Church of the Nazarene and a member of the Ellettsville Senior Citizens Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Clarence on April 12, 1971.
Survivors include her son, Michael Moore (Patty) of Bloomington; nieces, Ann Siniard of Bloomington, Barbara Campbell of Indianapolis, Shirley Adams of Martinsville, and Linda Jenkins of Mooresville; and sister-in-law, Nola King of Bloomington.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Presbyterian cemetery on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Andy Hughes officiating. A memorial service will also be held at Zion Community Church of the Nazarene in Ellettsville on Saturday at 11:30.
Max Pearcy
Max Pearcy, 74, of Seymour passed away on October 10, 2008, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.
Max was born in Morgan County, IN, on November 4, 1933, the son of Harry and Josephine (Burns) Pearcy.
He married
Jeannette Bobbitt in 1959. She survives.
He spent 3 years in the US Army as a Military Police. Max received an Associate degree in Criminal Justice. He was employed as Brownstown Town Marshal for 3 years and as a Seymour City Policeman for 22 years, the last 3 as Chief of Police. He was an active member of the local, state and national FOP, receiving the Chris Anton Commemorative Award for dedication to the FOP. He served as Jackson County Clerk for 8 years. He received the "Sagamore of the Wabash" award for his work for the Democratic Party in Jackson County. He was also a member of the Elks, Moose, Eagles and Central Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, son; Max Kevin Pearcy, grandsons; Christopher and Andrew, 1 granddaughter; Jennifer Pearcy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, and 2 sisters.
A memorial service will be held at Voss Chapel on Monday, October 13, at 6:00 PM with the Rev. Jon Carlstrom officiating. Friends may call from 5:00 PM until time of service.

LIDA ROSE EMERSON, 15, passed away June 2, 2003, in Lawrence, IN.
Lida was a freshman at International High School in Indianapolis, IN. She was a member of Northview Church of the Brethren. She was an actress at the Children’s Museum Summer Theater and a former member of the Lawrence Central Show Choir, was a member of Destination Imagination and had been a poet and artist.

Survivors include mother Carol Blackstock Emerson; sister Lily Emerson; grandmother Ruth Blackstock; numerous aunts and uncles. Lida was preceded in death by her father, Tom “Em” Emerson.

WOODROW “WOODY” WILSON LUNSFORD, 84, Indianapolis, died June 3, 2003, at the Lawrence Manor Nursing Home.
He was the owner and operator of Lunsford Dental Lab for 35 years, retiring in 1980. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, having served in World War II. He was a member of the Brookside Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite. He was a 1935 graduate of Arsenal Tech High School.
