Norma J. Kenworthy Eversole, age 73 of Mooresville, Indiana died September 15, 2004 at her home of natural causes. She was born June 8, 1931 in Wayne County, Indiana to the late Robert & Hazel Bryant Kenworthy.
She was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of the Mooresville VFW Post #1111 Ladies Auxiliary and a charter member of the Mooresville Eagles Lodge. She was the widow of Joseph Ralph Eversole whom she married
July 4, 1953 and who died December 6, 1993. She was also preceded in death by a brother Eugene Kenworthy.
Survivors include her son Joseph Ray Eversole of Mooresville, Indiana; sister Jeanette Terrell of Pittsboro, Indiana; brother Verlin Kenworthy of French Lick, Indiana; grandchildren Joseph Richard Eversole, Justin Ray Eversole, Adam Smith and Alex Smith; nephew Mike Kenworthy; great nephews Tyler Kenworthy and Daniel Kenworthy and great niece Ashley Kenworthy.
Calling is Saturday, September 18, 2004 from 10-11 A.M. in Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, Indiana. Funeral Services will be conducted by Rev. Terry Crist at 11 A.M., Saturday, September 18, 2004 in the funeral chapel. Burial will follow in White Lick cemetery, Mooresville, IN.
Ruby Mae Green

Ruby Mae Michael Green, age 78 of Mooresville, Indiana, formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Washington, D.C. She was born March 21, 1926 in South Bend, Indiana to the late George Emerson & Mary Adeline Glassburn Michael.
She was the widow of Tommy Joe Green. She was a homemaker most of her life and was a member of the Arlington VFW Post 139 Ladies Auxiliary in Arlington, VA. Through her husband's association with Congressmen as a Capital Police Officer, she became a favorite supplier of homemade cookies to Senators Robert Byrd and Ted Kennedy and Speaker of the House Tip O'Neil.
Survivors include her sons David A. Marshall of Vacaville, CA and Garry J. Marshall of Logansport, Indiana; daughter Cathy L. Andry of Mooresville, Indiana; brothers Raymond Michael of Denver, Indiana and Ronald Michael of Mexico, Indiana; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Calling: None. The body is to be cremated and a private graveside service will take place at a later date in Arlington cemetery, Arlington, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
Mary Ruth Gray

Mary Ruth Thetford Gray, age 77 of Mooresville, Indiana died Monday, September 20, 2004 in Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home in Mooresville, Indiana. She was born December 30, 1926 in Greenfield, Tennessee.
She retired in 1992 after 20 years as an R & R Builder for Automotive Armature in Mooresville, Indiana. She attended the Eternal Life Baptist Church in Mooresville, Indiana. She was preceded in death by a brother Pat Liles; sister Julia Ann Cagle, father Covie Thetford; mother Callie Mae Wood Liles and step-father Louis Liles.
Survivors include her husband Earl Wilson Gray (Married February 4, 1951) of Mooresville, Indiana; sons John W. Gray of Indianapolis, Indiana and Charles E. Gray of Mooresville, Indiana; daughter Louann Skiles of Mooresville, Indiana; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Josephine H. Warmoth Atkinson, age 90 of Mooresville, Indiana died September 19, 2004 in Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home in Mooresville, Indiana. She was born July 4, 1914 in Morgan County, Indiana to the late Fred Warmoth & Nellie Plunkett Gregory.
She was a member of the Mooresville Friends Church. She was a homemaker most of her life, but had been a seamstress several years in the fur department of L.S. Ayres & Co. in Indianapolis, Indiana and a cook for Kendrick Hospital in Mooresville, Indiana. She was the widow of Harold W. Atkinson whom she married
in 1934 and who died in 1981. She was also preceded in death by an infant son and a brother Ed Warmoth.
Survivors include her sons Larry H. Atkinson of Mooresville, Indiana, Bruce A. Atkinson of Monrovia, Indiana and Gene Atkinson of Mooresville, Indiana; brother Charles Gregory of California; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Scarlett O'Hara Crump Minor, age 63 of Mooresville, Indiana died September 19, 2004 at her home of natural causes. She was born December 4, 1940 in DeKalb County, Alabama to the late Walter D. & Louvernia Drain Crump.
She was a mobile home park manager for Barrington Investments for several years. She was a member of West Newton Worship & Youth Center in West Newton, Indiana. She was also preceded in death by a grandson Dustin "Biggie" Bowen.
Survivors include her husband Kenneth R. Minor, Sr. of Mooresville, Indiana; son Kenneth R. Minor, Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana; daughters Robin D. Word of Crossville, Alabama, Kristy Rayfield of Mooresville, Indiana and Debbie L. Bowen of Mooresville, Indiana; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Tommy Ray Sims, age 51 of Indianapolis, Indiana died August 2, 2004 in Wishard Memorial Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born September 6, 1952 in Bedford, Indiana to the late Poss Sims & Olena Margaret Ray Cassidy.
He was a meat cutter for 27 years having worked for Marsh Supermarkets and the Kroger Company in Indianapois, Indiana. He was a member of the Speedway Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife Amber Dawn Wampner Sims (Married October 19, 1999) of Indianapolis, Indiana; sons Brandon L. Sims, Tommy J. Sims & Harley R. Sims of Indianapolis, Indiana; brother Jerry Sims of Crawfordsville, Indiana; sisters Lisa George of Vincennes, Indiana and Kerrie Turner of Freelandville, Indiana and 5 grandchildren.

Calvin H. Ballenger, age 66 of Mooresville, Indiana, died August 11, 2004 in Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born February 5, 1938 in Rainelle, West Virginia to the late Alga & Myrtle Virginia Goodwin Ballenger.
He was a dock worker for 45 years, retiring in 1998 from ANR Freight in Indianapolis, Indiana. Previously he was a dock worker for 20 years for O. O. McKinley. He was a member of Teamsters Local 135.
Survivors include his wife Sheila M. Willey Ballenger (Married July 5, 1961) of Mooresville, Indiana; son Kevin W. Ballenger of Franklin, Indiana; daughters Debbie L. Hacker of Mooresville, Indiana and Jean Timmerman of Brownsburg, Indiana; brothers Billie Ballenger of Mooresville, Indiana, Jim Ballenger of Rainelle, West Virginia and Donald Ballenger of Rainelle, West Virginia; sisters Peggy John of St. James, Missouri, Pauline Harry of Meadow Bridge, West Virginia and Kathy Hellems of Rainelle, West Virginia and 6 grandchildren.

Jose M. de la Pena, age 93 of Mooresville, Indiana formerly of Laredo, Texas, died August 6, 2004 in Mooresville, Indiana. He was born September 19, 1910 in Laredo, Texas to the late Felipe & Petra Guerra de la Pena.
He retired in 1975 after 21 years as a Mechanic's Assistant for the Office of Immigration, Laredo, Texas. He was the widower of Ramona Vedaurri whom he married
October 22, 1933. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jorge and grandsons Javier & Damian de la Pena; son-in-law Carlos "Bud" Warthen and 3 brothers & 6 sisters.
Survivors include his daughter Adela Rose de la Pena Warthen of Mooresville, Indiana; sons Jose Felipe de la Pena of Ventura, California and Javier Humberto de la Pena of Laredo, Texas; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Gathering will be held from 5-7 P.M., Monday, August 9, 2004 in St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Mooresville, Indiana. Memorial mass will be conducted by Father Rick Eldred at 7 P.M., Monday, August 9, 2004 in St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mooresville Senior Citizens Center.

James Richard Turner, age 68 of Centerton, Indiana, died August 12, 2004 in Grandview Convalescent Center, Martinsville, Indiana. He was born April 28, 1936 in Canandaigue, New York to the late John Ernest & Katherine Elizabeth Mooney Turner.
He was a Korean War Era Army Veteran and was employed 28 years for Valley Farms in Centerton, Indiana.
