Dollie Elaine Landon Deckard, age 78 of Mooresville, Indiana died April 4, 2004 in Community Hospital South, Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born March 14, 1926 in Rochester, Indiana to the late Ralph Raymond & Mary June Miller Landon.
She was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of the Mooresville First United Methodist Church, Mooresville Order of the Eastern Star and the Daughters of the Union. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Survivors include her husband Kelsie Deckard of Mooresville, Indiana; son Mark A. Nimtz of Mooresville, Indiana; brother Richard E. Landon of Mooresville, Indiana; sister Donna J. Matson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and 3 grandchildren.
Calling is Tuesday, April 6, 2004 from 4-8 P.M. in Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, Indiana. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Gene Young at 11 A.M., Wednesday, April 7, 2004 in the funeral chapel. Burial will follow in Nebo Memorial Park, Martinsville, Indiana. Harvey Virgil McCreary, age 79 of Mooresville, Indiana, died April 8, 2004 in Hendricks Regional Health, Danville, Indiana. He was born January 3, 1925 in Manns Choice, Pennsylvania.
He retired in 1987 after 10 years as a truck driver for Willoughby Trucking, Columbus, Indiana. Previously for several years he was a truck driver for Eastern Express, Washington, Pennsylvania.
Survivors include his wife Betty Lea Morris McCreary (Married March 1, 1947) of Mooresville, Indiana; son Jeff T. McCreary of Mooresville, Indiana; daughters Connie A. Edwards of Mooresville, Indiana, Vicki L. Day of Mooresville, Indiana and Pam S. Aguirre of Camby, Indiana; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Maudie Burnett Fouty, age 83 of Plainfield, Indiana, died April 11, 2004 in Heartland Healthcare in Avon, Indiana. She was born January 14, 1921 in Knox County, Kentucky to the late Henry & Sarah Lawson Burnett.
She was a homemaker and member of the Martinsville Assembly of God in Martinsville, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Jerome Fouty(Married August 6, 1938; brother Robert Burnett and sister Kathryn Cottongim.
Survivors include sons William H. Fouty of Plainfield, Indiana, Gene Fouty of Crawfordsville, Indiana and Larry Fouty of Indianapolis, Indiana; brothers Chester Burnett & Troy Burnett of Eminence, Indiana; sisters Nancy Smith of Florida, Edna Marie Boles of Mooresville, Indiana, Betty Brock of Eminence, Indiana, Eva Mae Cheek of Eminence, Indiana and Juanita Fishel of Hazelwood, Indiana; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Richard Lee "Dick" Sanford, age 70 of Monrovia, Indiana, died April 12, 2004 in Hendricks Regional Health, Danville, Indiana. He was born August 31, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Delbert Otto Sanford, Sr. and Jennie R. Schroyer Blackwell.
He retired from IPL on January 1, 1997 after 42 years as a mechanic. He was a member of the Mooresville Eagles Lodge #3988, IBEW. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and loved listening to country music. He was also preceded in death by sons Larry W. Rushton and Michael L. Sanford; brothers Delbert O. Sanford, Jr. and Robert E. Sanford; sister Betty Parrish and wife Myrtle R. Crawford Sanford.
Survivors include his sons Richard E. Sanford and Donald D. Rushton; daughters Joni S. Hoop, Delores K. Hayden, Grace E. Hayden, Shelly J. Robertson, Jeanette Peebles and Sondra M. Hayes; sisters Donna Scott and Mary Jane Pattison; former wife Phyllis R. Day Sanford; 22 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Lynne' Ellen Stanley, age 55 of Cloverdale, Indiana died March 1, 2004 in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born August 23, 1948 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her mother Helen Jacqueline Goyette Stanley.
Survivors includer her father Marvin Dallas Stanley of Cloverdale, Indiana and daughter Jacqueline L. Ester-Wertzberger of Trafalgar, Indiana.

Eleanor Isabelle Allison age 94 of Indianapolis, Indiana formerly of Mooresville, Indiana died February 11, 2005 in Robin Run Healthcare Center, Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born November 14, 1910 in Peru, Indiana to the late Dennis & Ruth Whitezel Slaughter.
She was a homemaker most of her life, but had been a Music, Art & Physical Education Teacher for the Daleville & Mooresville School Systems. She was a graduate of Ball State Teachers College, a member of the Zionsville Christian Church and a former member of the Mooresville First Christian Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband Harmon Allison to whom she married
in 1936 and who died March 20, 1998; a brother Maurice Slaughter and sisters Harriet Wilkins and Martha Alice Sheets.
Survivors include her daughters Lynne A. Ayers of Butte, Montana, Kay Buchanan of Plainfield, Indiana & Jane Whitney of Bremerton, Washington; sisters Mary Durham of Anderson, Indiana and Connie Baker of Versailles, Kentucky; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

James Richard Hackett

James Richard Hackett, age 72 of Camby, Indiana died February 11, 2005 in St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born November 21, 1932 in Friendswood, Indiana to the late Wilfred Morton & Florence Geneva Bullock Hackett.
He was a member of the Friendswood Baptist Church, the West Newton Masonic Lodge #707, Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite, The Murat Shrine and the Terre Haute Zorah Temple. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a Tennessee Squire as well as a 1950 graduate of Mooresville High School. James retired in 1995 after 33 years as an electrician in the Transmission and Distribution Department of Indianapolis Power & Light Company. Previously for 10 years he had worked for L. C. Cassidy Insulation. He served with the U.S. Army Ski Troops in Japan during the Korean War. He was also preceded in death by a brother Fred M. Hackett and a sister Anna Mae Hackett.
Survivors inlcude his wife Janet Helen Cherry Hackett (Married March 3, 1953) of Camby, Indiana; sons James Richard Hackett, II of Indianapolis, Indiana, Jay Duane Hackett of Camby, Indiana and Jerald Alan Hackett of Camby, Indiana; sisters Jean Lugar of Camby, Indiana and Wilma Jane Randall of Roachdale, Indiana and 5 granchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted by Revs. George Schoonmaker & Ted Cutrell at 1 P.M., Wednesday, February 16, 2005 in the funeral chapel. Alexander "Alex" A. Hathaway, age 18 of Mooresville, Indiana died February 11, 2005 at his home of natural causes. He was born September 24, 1986 in Lawrenceville, Illinois.
He was a member of Springhill Christian Center, Mooresville, Indiana. He had completed his junior year at Mooresville High before his illness prevented him from continuing in school. He also played defense as a member of the Komets Soccer Club and while a student at Paul Hadley Middle School he was a member of the cross country team. Earlier in his life he played little league baseball and basketball.
Survivors include his parents David Eugene & Jenna Lee Ash Hathaway of Mooresville, Indiana; brother Jimmy L. (Stephanie) Chenowith of Columbia, South Carolina; sister Angela D. (Chad) Selburg of Mooresville, Indiana; grandparents Jim & Verlin Waggoner Ash Fox of Bridgeport, Illinois and 2 nieces Julia & Jordan Selburg.

Carolyn Marie Sayer, age 72 of Indianapolis, Indiana, died February 11, 2005 at her home of natural causes. She was born December 9, 1932 in Paragon, Indiana to the late William T. Anderson & Thelma Dalton Anderson England.
She was a homemaker most of her life. She was the widow of James L. Sayer and was also preceded in death by two great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons Ricky L. Ricks of Indianapolis, Indiana and William S. Hawkins of Indianapolis, Indiana; daughters Debbie A. Huesman of Indianapolis, Indiana and Tina M. Ringham of Titusville, Florida; sister Betty Robson of Sunset, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Roy M. Ferris, age 89 of Indianapolis, Indiana formerly of Mooresville, Indiana died February 8, 2005 at his home of natural causes. He was born December 4, 1915 in Milledgeville, Illinois to the late Henry & Winifred Waterbury Ferris.
He retired in 1980 after several years as a millwright for Dekalb Feeds in Rock Falls, Illinois. He was a member of the Lynhurst Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana and a former member of the Mooresville Lions Club. He was the widower of Betty M. Shomaker Ferris to whom he was married
in 1942 and who died in 1986 and Marie Gray Ferris whom he married
in 1988 and who died in 1995. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
Survivors include his son Robert E. Ferris of Waukesha, Wisconsin; daughter Nan Kollmeyer of Mooresville, Indiana; step-daughter Geraldine Born of Greenfield, Indiana; 4 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren.
