Robert Paul Nutter, Services for Robert Paul Nutter will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday December 27, 2003 at McClain Funeral Home.
He died at 3:00 a.m. Sunday, December 21, 2003 in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born November 1, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Elmer and Emily Foth Nutter. On November 21, 1980 he married Beverly Feltis, who survives.
He was a 1963 graduate of Frankford High School in Pennsylvania and a 1iuo graduate of the Philadelphia College of Arts and Sciences, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in accounting.
He worked as an accountant for 33 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Peru Masonic Lodge and the Miami County Historical Society.
Mr. Nutter enjoyed woodworking, traveling rock-and-roll music, and spending time with his family. He was a veteran of the Air Force National Guard, having served in Okinawa, Japan, and the United States.
Other survivors include two daughters, Kellie Nutter and her fiance Mike McKinzie of Denver, Colo., and Chris Ewing (Dale) of Russiaville, Indiana; five sons, Mike (Rachel) Keith of Denver, Ind., Jeff Keith of Locust, N.J., Scott (Wendy) Keith of Deedsville, Brad (Judy) Keith of Mexico, IN, and Andy Keith of Denver, Ind.; and one sister, Margaret Sue Dick of St. Luce, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Burial will be in Kistler Cemetery
in Royal Center with military Graveside Rites. Rev. Carl Davis will officiate at the services.
Visitation Hours are from 4-8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Peru Masonic Lodge conducting services at 8 p.m.

Bette Myers Kinley, Bette (Ruth Elizabeth) Kinley, wife of Doyle Kinley, Denver, died at 9:16 p.m. on April 12, 2004 at Howard Regional Health Systems, Kokomo.
Born on February 14, 1922 near Denver, she was the daughter of Grover and Ruth Fenn See.
She was a retired secretary at Controls Company of America in North Manchester after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Denver Baptist Church, Dukes Hospital Auxiliary, and Miami County Historical Society. She attended the Deedsville United Methodist Church in Deedsville.
In August 1938, she married Max Myers. In May of 1975, she married Dean Utter, who preceded her in death in April 1976. On January 7, 1984, she was married to Doyle Kinley, who survives.
Other survivors include 3 sons, Curt Myers and his wife Sue, Greenwood, IN; Fred Myers and his wife Beverly, Bedford, PA; and Kenny Myers and his wife Ann, Warsaw, IN.; a daughter, Sharon Hayden, Corona, CA; a step-daughter, Pamela Brown and her husband, Ralph, Deedsville, IN; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; and one sister, Louise Murphy, and her husband, Raymond, Denver, IN.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mable Crim and Wilma Donat; two brothers, Gaylord and James See.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 16, 2004 at McClain Funeral Home, 3500 West State Road 16, Denver, with Pastor Brent Myers and Pastor Bill Babb officiating.
Friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2004 and one hour prior to the services Friday at the funeral home.

William North Cassidy, Services for William North Cassidy will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2004 at McClain Funeral Home in Denver.
Mr. Cassidy passed away at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2004 in Millers Merry Manor, Logansport, Indiana.
Born May 4, 1905 in Williamsburg, Kentucky, he was the son of Henry and Sarah Smith Cassidy.
He married Mary Catherine Hamilton in August of 1928, who preceded him in death on December 14, 1994.
Mr. Cassidy was a trackman for the N & W Railroad, retiring after working for more than 40 years. He was a member of Bible Holiness Church in Logansport.
Survivors include a son Harold Cassidy and his wife Alice of Euless, Texas; one grandson, and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Phyllis Moyer and Maridean Cassidy.
Friends may call from 4-7:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. A graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2004 at the Leesburg Cemetery, Leesburg, IN. Pastor Mark Hamaker will officiate at the services.
John E. Correll, John E. Correll, age 64, of Peru, Indiana died at 8:50 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2004 at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester, Indiana.
Born January 20, 1940 in Miami County, Indiana, he was the son of Ora D. and Goldie M. See Correll.
He was a retired machinist from Thrush-Amtrol Company in Peru. He attended Skinner Worship Chapel near Twelve Mile.
Survivors include his mother, Goldie Correll, Peru, IN; his former wife, Ruby Weir, Peru, IN; two sons, John Michael Correll, Indianapolis, IN; Charles Orie Correll, Peru, IN, a daughter, Angela Lee Correll-Gilleland and her husband Don of Peru, IN; two brothers, Robert Correll, Peru, IN; and Paul Correll, Mexico, IN; special friend, Jean Barfell, Mexico, IN; four grandchildren, Joshua and Kristina Gilleland, Sierra Short, and Johnna Correll, all of Peru.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ora; a brother, Terry Lee Correll, Sr.; a sister-in-law, Januita Correll; a niece, Paula Ann Murphy; and a nephew, Dan Correll.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, with Pastor Gene Correll and Pastor Tom Robbins officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Denver.

Orel W. Swank, Orel W. Swank, 96
Orel W. Swank, 96, Twelve Mile, passed away at 3:50 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2004 at Miller's Merry Manor, Logansport.
Swank was born June 16, 1907 in Twelve Mile to John I. Swank and Nancy Jane Sullivan Swank.
He married Clarice Swanson June 17, 1933 at the the home of the Reverend G. V. Regenos, Twelve Mile.
Swank was a member of the Twelve Mile United Methodist Church, and was a retired farmer.
He is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Swank was preceded in death by his wife; one sister, Verda Hopkins; two brothers, Everett Swank and Raymon Swank.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, at 11 a.m. at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, with Pastor Teri White officiating.
Burial will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Twelve Mile.
Friends may call Tuesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Barbara Troyer, Barbara J. Troyer, 71, Peru, passed away at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at Dukes Continuing Care Center, Peru.
She was born March 19, 1932 in Kokomo to Jesse F. Baker and Elizabeth A. Pachmayr Baker-Waits. She graduated from Kokomo High School in 1949, and married Paul J. Troyer Nov. 24, 1951 in Eaton. He survives.
Troyer was employed at Delco Corporation, retiring in 1994. She also was a member of Skinner Worship Chapel, Twelve Mile, and enjoyed painting, fishing and traveling.
Survivors besides her husband include her mother, Elizabeth Waits, Peru; five sons, Larry J. Troyer, Twelve Mile, David A., Gary L. and John R. Troyer, all of Denver, and Randy E. Troyer, Peru; a daughter, Lisa K. Schnitz, Rochester; two brothers, George F. Baker, Middleburg, Fla., and Michael O. Baker, Mount Dora, Fla.; and 12 grandchildren, Ryan M., Aaron B. and Shane M. Clemons, Amanda L., Joseph M., Chelsea L., Melissa S., Zachary A., Abigail L., Bonnie E., and Mark A. Troyer, and Sabrina M. Briggs.
She was preceded in death by her father; a grandson, Trevon P. Browning; and a brother, William E. Baker.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Skinner Worship Chapel, Twelve Mile, with Pastor Tom Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Skinner Cemetery, Twelve Mile. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, and one hour prior to the funeral Monday at the church. Alfretta J. Hartman, Funeral Services for Alfretta J. Hartman, 90, of Macy, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 12, 2004 at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.
Born October 20, 1913, in Churubusco, Indiana, she was the daughter of Chauncey and Alta Smith Bear. On April 24, 1937, she married Onis K. Hartman at the Churubusco United Methodist Church. He died February 2, 1998.
She was educated in Churubusco schools and graduated from high school in 1931. In 1935, she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Manchester College. She did her post-graduate work at Ball State University.
Survivors include two sons, Robert O. Hartman of Oakland, California; and Roger L. Hartman and his wife Deborah of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; two grandsons, Nicholas Hartman and his wife Elizabeth, Bradenton, Florida, and Anthony Hartman, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
She taught for thirty-three years in public schools in Miami, Whitley, Fulton, and Cass Counties. For 28 years, she played piano, organ, and directed the choir at the Macy United Methodist Church. For nine years, she directed the choir at Trinity Methodist Church in Rochester. Since 1974, she was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Rochester where she sang with the Grace Choir and was Assistant Music Director of the church.
In 1977, she took over directing the Fulton County Extension Chorus. She was a three-time President of the Macy Mother’s Club. She was an active member of the Rochester Federated Women’s Club, a lifetime friend of the Rochester Public Library, a member of the Miami County Republican Women, and a patron of Miami County’s Symphony Unit.
She was a lifetime member of the National Education Association, Indiana State Retired Teachers, and belonged to both Miami and Fulton County’s Retired Teachers Associations.
She loved to travel and had been on three continents, Hawaii, and visited all but three of the United State’s States.
Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2004 at McClain Funeral Home. Rev. George Hapner will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery, Macy.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the North Miami Elementary Music Department.
Esther L. Turnipseed, Esther Lucile Turnipseed, 90, Chili, passed away at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Peru.
She was born Dec. 25, 1913 at the Guyer homestead near Denver to Roy and Ida Opple Guyer. She married Russell M. Turnipseed in the home of J.S. Johns in Indianapolis Nov. 29, 1947. He preceded her in death July 4, 1990.
She graduated from Chili High School in 1933. She studied to be a nurse at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo, in the early 1940s. She worked at the Mexico Nursing Home. She spent her married life as a homemaker. Her hobbies were gardening, sewing, painting and woodworking.
Turnipseed was a lifetime resident of the Denver area, and a member of the Boundary Line church of Christ, LaFontaine.
Survivors include 14 nieces and nephews, Lee Guyer, Danville, Wayne Guyer, Wabash, Jay Guyer, Florence, Ky., Colleen Guyer Whittlesey, Denver, Jaun Guyer, Brazil, Dan Guyer, Tampa, Fla., Dawson Guyer, Brownsburg, Pam Guyer Sloderbeck, Noblesville, Patty Guyer, Hanford, Calif., Peggy Guyer Stevens, Westfield, and Mike, Mark, Penny and Morris Guyer, all of Noblesville.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Clyde, Earl and Omer.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at McClain Funeral Home, 3500 W. SR 16, Denver, with Sam Miller officiating. Burial will be in Chili Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
