PAXTON -- Joseph Lynch, 32, of Paxton, died at 10:50 a.m. Dec. 25, 2003, in Sullivan County Community Hospital.

Born in Sullivan Dec. 31, 1970, he was the son of William Paul and Vicki Keller Lynch.

He was employed by City Glass in Sullivan.

Survivors include his parents, of Paxton; a sister, Kimberly Jackson of Linton and a grandmother, Norma Keller of Sullivan.

Services were held Dec. 29 in Sullivan with burial in Center Ridge Cemetery.

Mary Dorcas (Blaker) Richardson

Mary Dorcas (Blaker) Richardson, 86, of Linton, died at 9:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, at Glenburn Home in Linton.

Born May 8, 1917, in Bloomfield, she was the daughter of Calvin and Emma Sarver Blaker.

She was a homemaker. She was retired from the Kroger store, having started in Bloomfield then relocating to Linton. She was a member of Linton Eastern Star 140 and the Linton First Christian Church.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews, and a boy she raised, Bobby Green of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Lee Richardson, on Jan. 3, 1991; three sisters, Maxine Ramsey, Bessie Martindale and Goldie Sparks; a brother, Troy Blaker; and her parents.

There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery in Bloomfield with the Rev. Sharron Skinner officiating. Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.

Russell L. Basye

BLOOMFIELD -- Russell L. Basye, 46, of Bloomfield, died at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, in Greene County General Hospital in Linton.

Nickklett Butterfly Cullison-Wren

DUGGER -- Nickklett Butterfly Cullison-Wren, daughter of Dale Allan Cullison and Melissa Wren, was stillborn Saturday, Dec. 6, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

Survivors include her mother, of Linton; her father, of Dugger; a brother, Gregory Allan Cullison of Clinton; grandparents, Luther and Shirley Cullison of Dugger and Pamela Scotter of Indianapolis.

There will be no services. Newkirk Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Jack R. Dover

GREENWOOD -- Jack R. Dover, 69, of Greenwood, died Dec. 5 at his residence.

Born June 30, 1934, in Dugger, he was the son of Ursher and Bessie (Fulford) Dover.

He was a machinist at Allison Transmission Plant No. 5 where he had worked for 30 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of Mooresville Masonic Lodge 78, F&AM, and Mooresville Eastern Star and the United Auto Workers 933.

Survivors include his wife, Louise (Poole) Dover; a daughter and son-in-law, Marla and David Clossey; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Teresa Dover; a sister, Betty Jo Remmel; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Thomas Godwin.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. today at G.H. Hermann Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135 in Greenwood. Burial will be at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.

Visitation was 2-8 p.m. on Sunday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Elmer R. Griffith

WORTHINGTON -- Elmer R. Griffith, 94, of Worthington, passed away at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at Glenburn Home in Linton.

Arrangements are pending at Welch and Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington.

Foster R. Need

WORTHINGTON -- Foster R. Need, 105, of Worthington, passed away Friday morning Dec. 5, 2003, in Glenburn Home in Linton.

Born Nov. 19, 1898, in Bicknell, he was the son of James and Electa (Hancock) Need.

He retired in 1964 from General Motors in Detroit, Mich., after 25 years of service. He was a member of Folsom Memorial United Methodist Church in Worthington.

Survivors include seven nieces and nephews: Shirley Wright of Ottumwa, Iowa; Duane Need of Warren, Mich.; Nila Gayle Talbot of Leesburg, Fla.; Janet Parrone of Ventura, Calif.; Martha Wells of Worthington; Leahbelle Furst of Murray, Ky. and Russell Hamlin of Odon; several great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mina C. (Hamlin) Need on Jan. 25, 1994; one son, Myron Need; and one brother and one sister.

Services will be 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Welch and Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington with the Rev. Mel Camp officiating. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. on Wednesday until the time of service.

Memorials may be given to the YBIC Van Fund.

Emma L. Ramsey

BRAZIL -- Emma L. Ramsey, 80, of Brazil and formerly of Terre Haute, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, in her home.

Born April 11, 1923, in Fontanet, she was the daughter of Walter and Alice Bridgewater. She had worked at Quaker Maid.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Claude Ramsey; two sons and their wives, Kevin and Robbin Ramsey of Brazil and Larry and Joyce Ramsey of Rockville; two daughters, Pam Norris and husband Ronnie of Huffman, Texas, and Tiffany McDowell of Indianapolis; one sister, Lucille Gamble of Linton; four grandchildren, Ronnie Norris, Shaun Ramsey, Brandy Park and Reggie Sanders; and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Walter Bridgewater; and one sister, Ellen Bridgewater.

Services were 11 a.m. today in Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton St. in Terre Haute. Burial followed in Roselawn Memorial Park.

Friends called from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wabash Valley.

Lloyd D. Warren

Lloyd D. Warren, 99, of Worthington, passed away at 2:45 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1 at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton.

He was born Oct. 1, 1904 in Worthington to Ira and Crude Lynn Warren.

He was a farmer all of his life and a member of the Folsom Memorial United Methodist Church in Worthington.

He is survived by two sons, Robert L. Warren of New Port Richey, Fla., and Gene R. Warren of Linton; one granddaughter, Beth Cannon of Florida; and great grandson Ralph Adderly Cannon of Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Evelyn (Armstrong) Warren on July 15, 2001; one grandson Todd Warren; daughter-in-law R. Betty Warren; and one sister.

Graveside service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Worthington Cemetery with Rev. Mel Camp officiating.

Memorial contributions may be given to Folsom Memorial Church Bus Fund.

Funeral arrangements were made by Welch and Cornett Worthington Chapel.

Mable Elizabeth (Morris) Bradley

Mable Elizabeth (Morris) Bradley, 88, of Indianapolis, died Sunday, Nov. 30, in St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born in Indianapolis on May 13, 1915, she was the daughter of Lemuel and Elsie (Spinks) Morris.

She was a graduate of Central Business College, had worked as a private secretary from 1934-46 for Empire Life Insurance Company, and had worked in the office of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway from 1960-63. She was a homemaker, a member of Speedway Christian Church and Homemakers Club for over 50 years. She served as a past president for the Speedway Lioness Club and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Bloomfield.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin R. Bradley; a son, Steven R. Bradley; a daughter, Kathleen F. Johnson; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Audrey Shorter and Mary Pickard.

Visitation was Monday at Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel at 740 E. 86th St. in Indianapolis, and service will be conducted there at 2 p.m. today. Entombment services will be in Floral Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Marquatta Manor Foundation.

Wilma R. Walton

BLOOMFIELD -- Wilma R. Walton, 73, of Bloomfield, died at 6:15 a.m. Monday, Dec. 1, at Greene County General Hospital.

Born Jan. 26, 1930, in Owensburg, she was the daughter of Roy and Esther (Pribble) Ashcraft Sr.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Linton. She had worked at RCA for 21 1/2 years as a tester.

Survivors include two daughters, Debra Walton-Hays of Bloomfield and Michele Walton of Linton; a son, Steven Walton of Bloomfield; four brothers, Robert Ashcraft of Fairland, Ind., Kenneth Ashcraft of Greentown, Ind., James Ashcraft of Pass Christian, Miss., and Roy Ashcraft Jr. of Bloomfield; five sisters, Beulah Howell of Loogootee, Elaine Hord of Bloomfield, Marjorie Ball of Linton, Joan Padgett of Bloomfield and Royelle Wood of Bloomfield; special friend David Bogle of Camby, Ind.; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Richard Walton in 1987; two brothers, Ralph and Raymond Ashcraft; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday at Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, and one hour prior to the service Thursday.

Margaret Louise Himebaugh Huff

INDIANAPOLIS -- Margaret Louise Himebaugh Huff, 88 of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born June 6, 1915 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of John and Angela Richardson Himebaugh.

She was a violinist, pianist, and singer with Capital City Chorus of Sweet Adelines International. She also was a legal secretary with McTurnan & Higgins, Indianapolis and Huff & Huffman of Linton; an abstracter and later secretary of St. Peter's Church in Linton.

Survivors include, daughters, Margaret Mary Huff Huffman and Helen Angela Small of Indianapolis, Frances Eileen Pruitt Henderson of Cincinnati, Susan Anne Rowan of Memphis, and Catherine Elizabeth Graham of Washington; granddaughter, Anna Margaret Huffman of Memphis, Tenn.; and brother-in-law, Dwight J. Huff of Brookston.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd J. Huff in July 30, 1972; sister, Frances Eileen Wechsler; and brother, John Henry Himebaugh.

Friends may call at the Flanner & Buchanan Washington Park North Mortuary in Indianapolis from 4-8 p.m. on Friday.

A mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Monica Catholic Church in Indianapolis with Father Michael Madden officiating.

A graveside services will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

The family will receive friends at Welch & Cornett Linton Chapel from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday.
