Theodore Petsch
Theodore M. "Ted" Petsch, 96, of Evansville, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at McCurdy Healthcare Center.
He retired in 1967 after 22 years with the Internal Revenue Service.
There are no immediate survivors.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, burial in Park Lawn Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Alexander Funeral Home North Chapel and from 9 a.m. to service time at the church.

Leland Rausch
Leland Rausch, 96, of Washington, Ind., formerly of Evansville, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002, at Washington Hospital.
Surviving are a son, Gary E.; and two grandsons.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel, burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time.
Pearl Royster
Pearl Gertrude Royster, 77, of Evansville, died Monday, February 11, 2002, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
She retired from the Vanderburgh County School Corp., where she worked for more than 13 years and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in the city. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a wonderful friend to everyone she knew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murl, who died in 1999.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Pamela Damm and Mary Pugh, both of Evansville; 1 son, Rick Royster of Evansville; 1 sister, Stella Hughes of Montgomery, Ind.; 2 brothers, Lawrence and Cletus Wilson, both of Indianapolis; 9 grandchildren, Rachel, Michelle, Chelsey, Melissa and Lindsey Wathen, Christian Pugh, August and Cole Royster and Lyndsey Damm; and a special friend that cared for her, Margaret Wassmer.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, continuing at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in the city, the Rev. Father William A. Traylor officiating, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery
in Evansville.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 13, 2002, at Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel, Franklin and Heidelbach, where a memorial service will be at 7:30 p.m. today.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in the city.
Hester Sills
Hester M. Sills, 89, of Evansville, died at 11:30 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2002, at Parkview Care Center.
She was born April 20, 1912.
Hester was employed by Faultless Caster and Evana Sales.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star 555 and a member of Albright United Methodist Church. She was previously a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, where she served as president of the Women's Society.

Survivors are her husband of 57 years, Lloyd Sills of Evansville; a son, Roger Sills of Evansville; 3 grandchildren, Cory and Curt Sills and Amber Titzer; a great-granddaughter, Addison Marie Sills; and several nieces and nephews.
Services Thursday 10 a.m. at Alexander North Chapel, Reverend Ernest Stair officiating, burial in Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 2 to 8 p.m. at Alexander North Chapel.
Joan Thompson
Joan (Boswell) Thompson, 76, of Evansville, died Sunday, February 10, 2002, at St. Mary's Medical Center.
She was a homemaker and former member of the Owen Dunn Post American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donna Calhoun, and husband, Bill, of Evansville; and a granddaughter, Amy L. Calhoun.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Lola Alice (Miller) Boswell.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at Schnieder Funeral Home Norvell Chapel in Mount Vernon, Ind., the Rev. Tom Buffington officiating, with burial in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Doris Webster
Doris Lee Webster, 75, of Evansville, died at 7:12 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2002, at Deaconess Hospital. He was born March 22, 1926.
Doris worked at Bucyrus Erie and Continental Emsco for 36 years. He enjoyed all sports, especially baseball.
Survivors are his wife of 16 years, Laura Ann (Gunter-Bailey) Webster of Evansville; a stepdaughter, Linda Dogan of Evansville; a nieces, Beverly Webster of Evansville; a nephew, Raymond Webster of Evansville; and 2 stepgrandchildren, Jason and Jennifer Dogan, both of Evansville.
Services Thursday at 2 p.m. at Alexander West Chapel, Reverend John Motz officiating, burial in Blackfoot Cemetery
in Pike County, Indiana.
Visitation today from 2 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from noon to service time at Alexander West Chapel.
Mabel Baker
VINCENNES - Mabel E. Baker, 83, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2002, in Los Angles, Calif., of congestive heart failure.
Surviving are two daughters, Lucille Schroyer and Bonita "Bonnie" McRae; a son, Kenneth; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. EST Friday at Duesterberg-Fredrick Funeral Home, burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Dr. Charles Barrett
OWENS-VILLE - Dr. Charles L. Barrett, 61, of Owensville formerly of Plainfield, died Tuesday, February 12, 2002, at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.
He retired from the Indiana State Department of Health in Indianapolis and was the owner of the Southwind Dulcimer Shop in Evansville. He was an elder at the Christian Church Disciples of Christ. He graduated from Owensville High School, received his bachelor's degree and M.D. degree from Indiana University and his master's in public health from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn (Mapes) Barrett of Owensville; a daughter and son-in-law, Eileen and Douglas Gorrell of Xenia, Ill.; a son, John of Owensville; his mother, Mary Jean Barrett of Owensville; and 2 grandchildren, Jennifer and Joy Gorrell.
Graveside services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday in White Church Cemetery
in Princeton, with a memorial service following at 11 a.m. Friday at the Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Owensville. There will be no visitation at Holder Funeral Home in Owensville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Arthur Franklin Mapes Scholarship Fund of the American Heart Association.
Milford Graulich
WADESVILLE - Milford C. Graulich, 87, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, at Deaconess Hospital.
He was a farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Meta; a daughter, Brendell Jones; a son, Kirk; a sister, Bonnie Grosheart; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Pierre Funeral Home in Evansville, burial in Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery

Lawrence Loechte
JASPER - Lawrence J. Loechte, 89, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002, at Jasper Memorial Hospital.
He retired from the Hoosier Desk Co. as a machine foreman.
Surviving are his wife, Matilda; a daughter, Nancy Fest; a sons, Gerald; three sisters, Lucille and Lorena Hasenour and Alvina Fendel; two brothers, Bernard and Maurice; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. EST Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church, burial in Fairview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Becher & Kluesner Downtown Chapel, with a prayer service at 4 p.m.
