Mildred G. Fields
Mildred G. Fields, 89, Anderson, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2005, at Community Northview Care Center Anderson following an extended illness.
She was born on September 16, 1916, in Webster, West Virginia to George and Marie (Oberndorfer) Newman.
She retired from K Mart.
She was a member of the New Beginnings Church.
She is survived by three children, Betsy Humphreys of Alaska, Rudy (wife, Juanita) Shelton of Elwood, and Woody (wife, Joanne) Fields of Lapel; one sister, Marie Hubbard of Bullhead City, AZ; one brother, Donald (wife, Marie) Newman of Buffalo, NY; nine grand children; thirteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Fields in 1965.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Gary Marcum officiating. Burial will be at the Harlan Cemetery
in Wilkinson.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.

Minnie Alice White
Minnie Alice White, 89, Noblesville, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2005, at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville following an extended illness.
She was born on December 17, 1915, in Hamilton County, Indiana to Harvey and Maude (McDonald) Males.
She was a 1934 Lapel High School graduate and a member of the Prairie Baptist Church where she had been church organist for 55 years. She taught many students piano and organ in her Hamilton County home.
She is survived by one son, James White of Fishers; one sister, Katherine (husband, Sam) Jerell of Noblesville; one brother, George (wife, Freida) Males of Noblesville; and two grandchildren, Ryan White (fiance, Sarah Geutschow) of Fishers, and Amanda (husband, Brad) Fry of Noblesville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Wesley White; a brother, John Males; and a sister, Esther Smith.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at Prairie Baptist Church in Noblesvillle with Rev. Robert Williams officiating. Burial will be at the Prairie Memorial Cemetery
in rural Noblesville.

Loice A. Pardue
Loice A. Pardue, 67, Anderson, passed away Sunday November 17, 2002, at Community Hospital in Anderson following an extended illness. She was born on March 31, 1935, in Elwood, Indiana to Paul and Juanita (Sylvester) Fish. She retired in 1980 from Essex in Elwood. She is survived by three children, David Claywell of Pensacola, FL, Kenneth Ivan Pardue of Grove, OK, and Robin Brown of Anderson; four brothers, Joe Fish of Hemp Hill, TX, Arthur "Pork" Fish of Anderson, James Fish of Jamesport, MO, and John Fish of Houston, TX; one sister, Sue VanDuyn of Anderson; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes. Association or the American Heart Association.
Jane Ann Parks
Jane Ann Parks, 77, Lapel, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2007, at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born on June 14, 1930, in Lapel, Indiana to Francis and Dortha (Montgomery) Howell.
She graduated from Lapel High School in 1948.
Jane retired in 1987 from Riverview Hospital after 30 years of employment.
She was a member of Ford Street United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, Circle One, the Helping Hands, and she sang in the choir for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Everett Leroy Parks; three children, Donna Kay (husband, Richard) Clouse of Lapel, Philip (wife, Carmie) Parks of Campton, KY, and Gary (wife, Janice) Parks of Rushville; two brothers, Jack (wife, Jackie) Howell of Lapel, Dick (wife, Judy) Howell of San Antonio, TX; one sister, Peggy (husband, David) Pritchett of Frankton; four grandchildren, Matthew (wife, Sandra) Clouse of Lapel, Andrea (husband, Eric) Jakubiak of Chicago, Cory Parks of Rushville, and Vincent (wife, Jennifer) Parks of Lexington, KY; four great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jenna Clouse, and Tia and Alex Benefiel.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday at Brookside Cemetery
in Lapel with Rev. Mark Helm officiating.
There will be no visitation.

Survived by: Sister Betty Eichenberger (Colorado); daughter Pamela Jackson of South Bend, daughter Julia McCready (Richard ) of Columbia, Maryland; and daughter Barbara Jackson (Evan Lash) of Lapel. Grandchildren Alice Marks and Margaret McCready of Columbia, MD and Christopher and Gregory Lash of Lapel, IN.
Member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel since 1996.

Paul Hersberger
Paul Herbert Hersberger, 74, Noblesville, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2004, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis following a brief illness.
He was born on January 14, 1930, in Madison County, Indiana to Tilghman and Villie (Hinton) Hersberger.
He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and he retired in 1985 from Delco Remy after 30 years of employment. He continued to farm at Hersberger Farms.
He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, the Clarksville Masonic Lodge for over 50 years, the Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, the Murat Temple Shrine and the Madison County Shrine Club.
He was an avid antique tractor collector
He is survived by wife, Phyllis (Hall) Hersberger; two children, Chris (husband, Keith) Lynch of Anderson, and Mori (Patty) Hersberger of Noblesville; three brothers, Jay Hersberger of Lake Placid, FL, Morris (wife, Jean) Hersberger of Lapel, and John (wife, Sue) Hersberger of Ridgeville; one sister, Martha (husband, Max) Lees of Pittsburgh, PA; four grandchildren, Josh Lynch, Jordan Lynch, Meghan Hersberger, and Joel Hersberger; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Evan Lash officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.

Mary M. Pelfrey
Mary M. Pelfrey, 89, Bellview, Florida went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 10, 2006, at Monroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Florida following a brief illness.
She was born on January 2, 1917, in Anderson, Indiana to Frank and Minnie (Stanley) Stover.
On July 3, 1936, Mary married Roger Pelfrey and they celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary July 3, 1976. Roger preceded her in death on January 11, 1977.
Mrs. Pelfrey moved to maker her home in Belleview, Florida on April 11, 1980.
She was a member of Ford Street United Methodist Church and she and her husband were very active in the church while they lived in Madison county. They taught several children's Sunday school classes and many of the classes even stayed overnight at their home.
Mary enjoyed doing ceramics, antiques, and she was an excellent seamstress. She was a fun-loving person especially with children.
She is survived by four nieces, Martha Lukawitz of Ocala, FL, Sharon Clement of Belleville, FL, Barbara Waldron of Summerfield, FL, and Suellen Warfel of Anderson; one nephew, Lawrence Pelfrey of Alexandria; several great-nieces and great nephews; and her loving dog and companion, Tyler.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday at Brookside Cemetery
with Rev. Mark Helm officiating.
There will be no visiting hours.
Pamela K. Michael
Pamela K. Michael, 60, Noblesville, passed away Tuesday May 25, 2004, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville after a sudden illness.
She was born on May 14, 1944, in Anderson, Indiana to Farrell and Ruth (Wilker) Michael.
She was a member of the Lapel Eagles Aerie 4323 Auxiliary and she loved to sing country music, especially Patsy Cline songs. She also loved to cook and was not afraid to speak her mind but yet was stubborn.
She is survived by two sons, Ralph (wife, Angie) Enyeart of Colorado Springs, CO, and Derrell (Cindy) Enyeart of Lapel; her companion, Jeff Perkins of Noblesville; five grandchildren, Angel Enyeart, Nicholas Enyeart, Brandi Enyeart, Mathew Enyeart, and Miracle Enyeart; and one great-grandson, Justin Enyeart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Nicholas L. Enyeart; and a brother, Russell Michael.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Richard Cole officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
Visiting hours will be from 11:00 AM Friday until the time of the service.
