Burial will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.

Rev. Walter M. Burkholder, 84, a former resident of Franklin Street, died at 10:10 p.m. Friday (July 9, 2004) at The Heritage of Huntington.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Pastor Brent Birdsall and Pastor Raymond Waldfogel will officiate. Interment will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Betty Jane Bahnmiller, 77, San Diego, Calif., died at her home Monday (July 5, 2004).
There are no calling hours. Services were held at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Humphrey Mortuary, Chula Vista, Calif. Her ashes will be scattered at sea.

Sam Overholt, 83, a long-time resident of Huntington County, died Wednesday (July 7, 2004) in Sonoma, Calif.
Duggan’s Mission Chapel, Sonoma, Calif., was in charge of arrangements. Interment will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Huntington, at a later date.

Calling will be from noon to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home. Services will be at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Jeff Carrell officiating. Burial will be at the Star of Hope Cemetery.
