Jessie Opal Kirkpatrick, 93, Fort Wayne, died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, at Courtland Health and Rehabilitation in Fort Wayne.
Burial was at Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne. D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Homes, Lakeside Park, Fort Wayne, was in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jarred Lee Geiger Scholarship Fund at Huntington College.
Larry L. Robbins
Larry L. Robbins, 65, Roann, died at 2 a.m. Tuesday (Jan. 6, 2004) at Miller’s Merry Manor, Wabash.
Calling will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the McDonald Funeral Home, Eddingfield Chapel, 231 Falls Ave., Wabash, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday with Pastor Rick Stone officiating. Burial will be at the Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash.
Preferred memorials are to the Roann United Methodist Church.
Norma Jane Miller
Norma Jane Miller, 74, 2363 E. State St., died at 6 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 7, 2004) at her residence.
Mrs. Miller, a homemaker, attended the Gospel Community Church. She was a lifetime resident of Huntington County.
Calling will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday with Rev. Elzie Spencer officiating.
Preferred memorials are to Parkview Hospice or the Huntington County Humane Shelter in care of the Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Dr., Huntington, IN 46750.
William R. ‘Randy’ Harshman
Lt. Col. William Rand “Randy” Harshman, Ret., Navarre, Fla., died Tuesday (Jan. 6, 2004).
Calling will be from 9 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. funeral service Monday at the Waters & Hibbert Funeral Home, 124 W. Gregory St., Pensacola, Fla. Rev. Mike Williams will officiate.
Interment with full military honors will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola.

Robert Brennan
Long-time Huntington business leader Robert F. Brennan, 975 Oak St., died at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 7, 2004) at Parkview Huntington Hospital. He was 92.
Mr. Brennan was a co-owner and partner of Brennan Plumbing & Heating, which he founded with his twin brother Ray, for 60 years. He was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
He was a charter member of the Huntington Jaycees, a past member of the South Side Business Association, a past grand knight of the Huntington Knights of Columbus, past faithful navigator and oldest member of the Bishop Noll Assembly of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, and past state district deputy of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in St. Petersburg, Fla., and volunteered at Palms of Pasadena Hospital in South Pasadena, Fla.
He was born May 23, 1911 in Huntington, a son of Richard and Natalie Regelsberger Brennan. He married Mary Bromersback in Huntington on June 14, 1943. His wife survives.
Also surviving are two sons, John T. “Tim” Brennan, Huntington, and James P. Brennan, Warsaw; and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, his twin brother, Ray E. Brennan, and Richard Brennan; and two sisters, Josephine Egan and Elizabeth Macci.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday, with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m., at the Deal-Robbins & Van Gilder Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father John Guimond and Father John Pfister officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Marsha S. Bolinger, 55, San Bernardino, Calif., died Tuesday (Jan. 6, 2004) at St. Bernardine Medical Center after an extended illness.
Cremation and a private memorial service will be held at a later date at the Veterans National Cemetery
in Riverside, Calif.

Interment was at St. John Cemetery, Granite City, Ill.

Wayne A. Wechsler, 40, Fort Wayne, died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 10, 2004) in Warsaw.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Kathy Jones will officiate. Burial will be at Star of Hope Cemetery.

Sellie B. Thomas Jr., 79, died Thursday (Jan. 8, 2004) at Community Hospital in Anderson.

Theodore “Ted” Kohr, 85, rural Andrews, died at 3:55 p.m. Friday (Jan. 9, 2004) at Norwood Nursing Center.
