Calling is from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Rev. Cameron Douglas will officiate.
Interment will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.

Virginia A. “Ginny” Finley, 79, Huntington, died at 7:30 a.m. Monday (Aug. 18, 2003) at her home following an extended illness.
Calling is from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Russell Buzzard officiating. Interment will be at Grant Memorial Park, Marion.

Gwendolyn Holmes, 85, Leesburg, Fla., died Monday (Aug. 18, 2003) at her home.

Robert Lee Zent, 50, 131 Parkway, Warren, died at 5:35 a.m. Wednesday (Aug. 20, 2003) at Markle Health Care.

Ruth Henline Prough
Former Huntington City Council and City Board of Zoning Appeals member Ruth E. Henline Prough, 78, of Huntington, died at 2:14 p.m. Tuesday (Aug. 19, 2003) at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Prough was a member of Huntington City Council from 1980-84 and a member of the Board of Zoning Appeals from 1984-88.
Mrs. Prough was secretary and treasurer of Henline Inc. for 57 years. She was a member of the St. Peter’s First United Church of Christ and the Morning Glory circle at the church. She was past president of Sigma Beta Sorority and past president of the Chief LaFontaine Saddle Club. She was a member of the Huntington Hospital Auxiliary.
She was one of the Blimp & Blimp Clowns in the 1960s. She was a 1942 graduate of East Union High School, Wells County.
She was born on Aug. 23, 1924, in Huntington County, to Ervin Ellet and Lucille Draper Ellet. On Feb. 14, 1946, in Huntington, she married Harley M Henline, who died on April 24, 1980. Her second marriage was on Jan. 14, 1984, to Loyd Prough. He died on May 16, 1994.
Survivors include two sons, Donald D. Henline and Harley “Sonny” Henline II, both of Huntington; two brothers, Ray Ellet, Markle, and Paul Ellet, Albion; two stepsisters, Mrs. Tom (Barb) Richardson, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Ed (Betty) Runion, Markle; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by a brother, Max Ellet.
Calling will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Ray Scribner officiating.
Burial will be at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Huntington.
