Valada Randolph
Valada E. Randolph, 79, of Evansville, formerly of Providence, Ky., died Friday, Nov. 2, 2001, at St. Mary?s Medical Center of sepsis.
She worked at Welborn Baptist Hospital in the laundry room for 12 years, and she enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are two daughters, Doris Olivaz of Evansville and Ellen Watson of Fort Branch, Ind.; five sons, Robert, Jerry, Kenneth and David, all of Evansville and Charles of Quinlin, Texas; a sister, Nannie Dell Meeks of Tuscola, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Providence, Ky., the Rev. Laddie Pride officiating, with burial in Pleasant Valley Cemetery
there.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller & Miller Colonial Chapel and from 10 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Mary Tindle
Mary C. Tindle, 84, of Evansville, formerly of Rockport, Ind., died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, at Parkview Care Center.
She was a member of Lincoln Hills Baptist Church in Rockport.
Surviving are three daughters, Della Kokomoor of Evansville, Theresa Thorpe of Grandview, Ind., and Shirley Cooper of Dale, Ind.; four sons, Eugene of Reo, Ind., the Rev. Andrew of Calhoun, Ky., Woodrow Jr. of Evansville and Raymond of Rockport; a brother, Henry Frazier of Newman, Ky.; 26 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Woodrow, died in 1988.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Ind., with burial in Sunset Hill Cemetery
there.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.

Geno Rankin
Geno Cortez Rankin, 47, of Evansville, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, in Pendleton, Ind., of cancer.
Surviving are a daughter, Andrea Owsley of Evansville; five sons, Darris Staten, Antwain Meriweater, Reko and Meko Level and Yusef Williams, all of Evansville; his mother, Helen Byrd of Evansville; 10 sisters, Belinda Lander, Natalie Parrish, Denise Rankin Neal, Raylene, Lanatia, Megan, Regina and Tracena Rankin, Brigette Hooper and Debra Roach, all of Evansville; five brothers, Fletcher, Desi, Michael, Roy Van III and DeWayne Rankin, all of Evansville; grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mason Bros. Memorial Chapel, with burial pending.

Helen Strunk
Helen Emma Strunk, 95, of Newburgh, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, at Angel River Health & Rehabilitation Center.
She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a 50-year member of Old North Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Beverly Molloy of California; a son, Mike of Evergreen, Colo.; a grandson, David Strunk; a great-grandson; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband of 73 years, Benson, died last year.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Alexander Funeral Home North Chapel, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park.

Lavonda Winget
BOONVILLE — Lavonda "Nanny" Winget, 57, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, at St. Mary?s Riverside in Evansville of lung cancer.
She worked for Peoples Trust & Savings Bank and had owned and operated a bookkeeping service.
She was a member of First Baptist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3418 Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Jim; two daughters, Teresa Davis of Evansville and Tracy Tuley of Boonville; a son, Scott of Newburgh; her mother, Brenda Skipper of Boonville; two sisters, Anita Hodges of Boonville and Vicki Skipper of Indianapolis; a brother, Lee Kershaw of Oswego, Ill.; six grandchildren, Derek and Erica Ingram, Brittany and Cory Winget and Samantha and Stephanie Tuley; and a great-grandchild. An infant daughter, Toni Carol Winget, died in 1970.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Koehler Funeral Home Boonville Chapel and from 10 a.m to service time at the church.

Joseph Tedrow
LOOGOOTEE — Joseph Wayne Tedrow, 45, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System of injuries from an automobile accident north of Jasper.
He worked for Aristokraft in Huntingburg.
Surviving are his wife, Sylvia (Orozoco); two daughters, Veronica Vega and Jolene Tedrow, both of New Mexico; his parents, Walter and Galelah Tedrow of Loogootee; a sister, Shanan Bradley of Martinsville; and two grandsons, Antonio and Jaseph Vega.
Services will be at 11 a.m. EST Wednesday at Lee Funeral Home, with burial in Goodwill Cemetery.

Carol Byrne
BOONVILLE — Carol Byrne, 44, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001 at her home of cancer.
She was a Baptist and a member of Last Minute CB Radio Club.
Her husband, Robert, died in August.
Surviving are three daughters, Lisa Byrne, Christina Stepro and Melissa Byrne, all of Boonville; a son, Robert II of Chandler, Ind.; three sisters, Lou Ellen Slaton of Evansville, Daisy Rodgers of Chandler and Kathy MacIntire of Mt. Vernon; two brothers, Carl and Revis Rainy, both of Evansville; six grandchildren, Chasity and David Stepro, Nancy and Clayton Byrne and James and Angel Nicole Wright.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel in Evansville, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery
in Evansville.

Lydabelle Harrison
ROCKPORT — Lydabelle Harrison, 89, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2001, at Heartland Villa in Lewisport, Ky.
She had been a clerk at Texas Gas in Owensboro, Ky.
Surviving are a daughter, Sue Hobgood of Houston; and seven grandchildren, Robert and Brian Ludwig, Debra Dunn, Tamara Cochenour, Lydia Joiner and Jonathan, Jason and Jana Harrison.She was preceded in death by two husbands, Robert W. Savage, in 1965, John R. Harrison, in 2001, and a daughter, May Lou Ludwig, in 1968.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, with burial in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., and from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at Boultinghouse Funeral Home.

William Ott
FRANCISCO — William Robert "B. Bob" Ott, 73, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, at St. Mary?s Medical Center in Evansville of complications of lung cancer.
He was a rural mail carrier. He was a World War II Army Air Corps sergeant, serving as a radar technical instructor, and he attended Francisco General Baptist Church.
He had been fire chief of the Francisco Volunteer Fire Department and was currently an honorary captain.
Surviving are his wife, Ruby (Shoultz); two daughters, Corinne Clyde of Butler, Mo., and Adrienne Gallo of San Diego, Calif.; a son, William Calvin of Francisco; a sister, Rosemary Krieg of Princeton; three brothers, Jerry and Pat, both of Francisco and Joe of Mount Vernon; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Colvin Funeral Home, with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Larry Graf
ROCKPORT — Larry J. Graf, 59, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, at Owensboro Mercy Health System in Owensboro, Ky., of a heart attack.
He was a draftsman and retired after 15 years with the Texas Gas Transmission Co. He had worked for Jones Construction Co. and Modern Welding.
He was a Vietname War Army veteran and served in the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell, Ky.
He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Patsy (Payne); two sons, Bradley N. of Rockport and Wesley Damien of Nashville, Tenn.; and a brother, Jerry of Debary, Fla.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Rockport, with burial pending.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Glenn Funeral Home in Owensboro.
