Burial will be at the Star of Hope Cemetery
in Huntington.

Erma M. Cumbey, 88, Roanoke, died at 10:25 a.m. Monday (June 24, 2002) at Covington Manor Nursing Home, Fort Wayne.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, with Eastern Star services at 7 p.m., at the Roanoke Memorial Chapel, 240 Crestwood Dr., Roanoke.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Christ’s United Methodist Church, 148 W. Third St., Roanoke. Rev. Kaye Patton will officiate.
Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery, Roanoke.

Calvin P. Stuart Sr., 80, Edinburg, Va., died Thursday (June 27, 2002) at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. CST Sunday at the Valley Funeral Chapel, Bowmans Crossing, Edinburg, with Rev. Timothy E. Teates officiating.
Burial will follow in Saumsville Cemetery, Maurertown.

Sharon Ann Scott, 66, Lagro, died at 4:25 p.m. Thursday (June 27, 2002) at Hospice of Northeast Indiana, Fort Wayne.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 86 E. Main St., Wabash, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Rev. Melissa Rice will officiate. Burial will be at the Center Grove Cemetery, Lincolnville.

Ron N. Lane, 56, died Sunday (June 30, 2002) at his residence in Markle.
Calling will be Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home.
Services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Markle United Methodist Church, 145 W. Morse St., with calling two hours prior. Rev. Gary Allen and Rev. Mark Minnick will officiate.
Interment will be at the Star of Hope Cemetery
at a later date.

Forest J. Fidler, 94, a resident of the Kingston Residence in Fort Wayne, died there at 10:15 a.m. Sunday (June 30, 2002).
Calling will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel. Services will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Revs. Kevin Dunlop and Gene Vickery officiating. Burial will be at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.

Cheryl A. Burkhart
Cheryl A. Burkhart, 51, West Lafayette, a former resident of Huntington, died at 10:52 a.m. Sunday (June 30, 2002) at her home.
Calling will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel. Services will be held at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Frank Gready officiating. Burial will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Gary W. Bonam
Gary W. Bonam, 68, was airlifted to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne June 28 after receiving head and internal injuries in a two-car collision at the intersection of County Road 200 East and U.S.-24.
Bonam died at 5:13 p.m. Tuesday), at Parkview, from those injuries.
Bonam, the driver of a GMC pickup truck, pulled into the path of an eastbound Pontiac driven by Cory Napier, 20, of Fort Wayne, on U.S.-24. The Bonam vehicle rolled over and Patricia Bonam, 65, Gary Bonam’s wife, was thrown from the vehicle. She was admitted to Lutheran Hospital in fair condition. Napier also was hospitalized at Huntington Parkview.
Gary W. Bonam, 68, 1095 N. Jefferson St., was a barber from 1958-73 at the Fulton and Bonam Barber Shop inHuntington. He had worked at the Kmart warehouse in Fort Wayne from 1973-95, then owned and barbered at the Four Corners Barber Shop inHuntington from 1995 to the present.
He was a member of the Huntington Christian Center and a member of the American Legion Post 7, Huntington. He was a 1952 graduate of Chester Township High School, North Manchester, and attended barber school in Indianapolis in 1958. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Bonam was born on March 2, 1934, in Huntington, to Duane and Evalyn Gilmore Bonam. He married Patricia A. Werking Nov. 17, 1956, at the Lutheran Church in North Manchester. His wife survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Douglas A. Bonam, Zionsville, and Jeffrey T. Bonam, Indianapolis, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Kay Stapleton, in 1965.
Calling will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. Rev. Kevin Myatt will officiate.
Burial will be at the Oak Lawn Cemetery, North Manchester.

Sharon S. Green, 53, 1425 Grant St., Huntington, died Tuesday, July 2, 2002, at 9:10 p.m. at Hickory Creek at Huntington Health Care Center.
Calling is from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Friday at Bailey-Love Mortuary. Rev. Stephen Stull will conduct the services.
Burial will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.

Rev. Harold W. Wilson, 71, Hartford City, died at 10:58 a.m. Wednesday (July 3, 2002) at his home.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at the Full Gospel Lighthouse Tabernacle, 468 E. Washington St., Dunkirk, with Rev. Bobby Thomas officiating. Friends may call one half hour prior to the memorial service.
Preferred memorials are to the Full Gospel Lighthouse Tabernacle.

John D. Flaugh, 36, Huntington, died at noon Wednesday (July 3, 2002) at the Norwood Nursing Center.
Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Myers Funeral Home with Chaplain Karen Kosberg officiating. There will be additional calling one hour prior to the service.
