Carrie Hoelzer, 84, a resident of Miller’s Merry Manor, Huntington, died there Thursday (May 9, 2002).

Jestina Cheyenne Hope Kelly
Jestina Cheyenne Hope Kelly, five-month-old daughter of Michael Lee and Lucinda Madge Yeakoe Kelly, died at 6:47 a.m. Friday (May 10, 2002) at the family’s home, 733 Second St.
The infant was born Nov. 30, 2001, in Huntington.
She is survived by her parents, two brothers, Jasper Kelly and Michael Lee Kelly Jr., and a sister, Josette Yeakoe, all at home; grandparents Pat Wine, Huntington and John Fleming, Fort Wayne; grandmother and stepgrandfather Kristie and Robert Johnson, Huntington; grandfather and stepgrandmother Larry and Vicki Yeakoe, Converse; great-grandparents Darlene Kelly and Kathy Montgomery, both of Huntington, and Howard Kelly, Kentucky; and great-grandfather and stepgreat-grandmother Larry and Rita Steele, Gas City.
Calling is from 11 a.m. Monday until the 1 p.m. services at Deal-Robbins & Van Gilder Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel. Elder Jerry Bailey will officiate at the services.
Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Nyla K. Hicks, 52, New Haven, died Sunday (May 5, 2002) at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Hicks was a homemaker.
She was born Oct. 22, 1949, in Scott, Ohio, to Lewis and Gloria Kimmel. Her mother survives and lives in Fort Wayne.
Also surviving are her husband, Bobby Hicks, New Haven; a son, Jay Hicks, New Haven; two daughters, Lisa Hormann, Fort Wayne, and Becky Holtsberry, Baton Rouge, La.; a brother, Richard Kimmel, Huntington; a sister, Marlene Shutt, Fort Wayne; and four grandchildren.
Calling is 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 Ind.-930E, New Haven, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Burial will be at the IOOF Cemetery
in New Haven.
