Gary G. Olinger
Gary G. Olinger, 59, 514 Wilkerson St., died at 8 a.m. Monday (June 12, 2000) at his home.
Mr. Olinger graduated in 1959 from Huntington High School and graduated from Indiana University with a master’s degree in English. He was manager of Oley’s Pizza, Fort Wayne, for 18 years.
He was born April 19, 1941, in Wabash, a son of Lytle G. and Helen Doran Olinger.
He is survived by a brother, Stephen Olinger, Fort Wayne.
Calling is 9-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bailey-Love Mortuary, with services there at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Steven N. Ailes will officiate. Burial will be at Lancaster Cemetery.
Donald Paul Colbart
Donald Paul Colbart, 83, Auburn, died at 10 p.m. Friday (June 9, 2000) at DeKalb Memorial Hospital, Auburn.
Mr. Colbart was a bus driver for the Short Way line, and service manager for 10 years for L.G. Maxton auto dealership, Angola. He also built and managed for 10 years the Hidden Valley Golf Course, Angola. He was a member of the Waterloo United Methodist Church, Waterloo, and a former member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Arcadia, Fla.
He was born on May 22, 1917, in Pleasant Lake, to Charlie and Dessie Miller Colbart. On Dec. 1, 1943, in Auburn, he married Wilma (Brown) Farrell. Mrs. Colbart survives in Auburn.
Other survivors include three sons, Byron Farrell, Godfrey, Ill., Doug Colbart, Huntington, and Tim Colbart, Auburn; two daughters, Mrs. James (Janet) Hamilton, Auburn, and Mrs. Allen (Suzan) Armstrong, Rochester; one brother, Ted Colbart, Angola; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
A grandson, Mark Colbart; a great-grandson, Adam Thompson; and two brothers, Ned Colbart and Dean Colbart, preceded him in death.
Calling will be from noon- 2 p.m. Monday at the Feller Funeral Home, 876 S. Wayne St., Waterloo, where funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday. Rev. John Hostetter will officiate at the services.
Preferred memorials are to the Children First Center, Auburn; the Waterloo United Methodist Church, Waterloo; or the Trinity United Methodist Church, Arcadia, Fla.
Donna M. Collins
Donna M. Collins, 67, 1345 Engle St., died at 9:08 p.m. Thursday (June 8, 2000) at Huntington Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Collins was retired after 26 years at Huntington Laboratories Inc. as a benefit specialist in the insurance department. She was a member of the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She was born in Huntington on May 23, 1933, to Glen Haneline Sr. and Hilda Evans Haneline. She was a 1951 graduate of Huntington High School. On Nov. 14, 1953, in Huntington, she married Edgar L. Collins. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Michael A. Collins and Kurt E. Collins, both of Huntington; four daughters, Mrs. Michael N. (Diana L.) Parker, Decatur, and Deborah S. Collins, Mrs. Scott (Lori A.) Kaylor and Mrs. Joe (Lisa M.) Meitzler, all of Huntington; one brother, Glen L. Haneline Jr., Roanoke; two sisters, Doris Ruble and Selma Smith, both of Huntington; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A brother, Robert Haneline, preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 18, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1640 Grant St., with Larry Gerber officiating.

Warren H. Keene
Warren H. Keene, 84, a resident of the United Methodist Memorial Home, 801 Huntington Ave., Warren, died at 9:33 a.m. Friday (June 9, 2000) at the home.
Mr. Keene was a shipping supervisor at Foster-Forbes, Marion, for 43 years. He lived in Wayne Township, Huntington County, before moving to the Methodist home in 1998. He was a member of the Boundary Line Church of Christ, LaFontaine.
He was born July 20, 1915, in Grant County, to Orlando Keene and Jennie Leffler Keene. He attended Upland schools. He was married on Dec. 22, 1939, in Marion, to Louise Thorn. She survives in Warren.
Other survivors include two sons, Rex E. Keene, Elwood, and Mike Keene, Warren; a sister, Doris Griffin, Marion; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, others preceding him in death include a daughter, Joyce Anne Karst; two sisters, Mary Butler and Dorothy DeBonis; and five brothers, Carl Keene, Clifford Keene, Herbert Keene, Howard Keene and Waldo Keene.
Calling will be from 2-3 p.m. Monday at the chapel in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday. Rev. Richard Thompson will officiate at the services.
Burial will be at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery.

Brenda K. Pauley
Brenda K. Pauley, 51, 9663 Southeast Jeff Rd.-90, Warren, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday (June 9, 2000) at Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis.
Mrs. Pauley was employed by Franklin Electric, Bluffton. She was a 1967 graduate of Hurricane High School, Hurricane, WVa. She moved from West Virginia to Indiana 15 years ago.
She was born Feb. 19, 1949 in Huntington, WVa., to Odell and Euna A. Byrnsides Faulkner.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Jason Pauley, Warren. a daughter, Mrs. Matt (Carrie Lynn) Moore, Bluffton; two brothers; Charles Faulkner, Culloden, WVa., and Ernest Faulkner, St. Albans, WVa.; two sisters, Juanita Shirkey, Culloden, WVa., and Lois Johnson, Hurricane, WVa.; and two grandsons.
Calling hours are from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Glancy Funeral Home, Walker Chapel, Montpelier. Calling hours will also be from 10 a.m. Wednesday until services will at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Allan Funeral Home, Hurricane, WVa., with Rev. Jerry Losh officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. Moriah Funeral Home, Hurricane, WVa.

Naomi E. Smith
Naomi E. Smith, 80, Fort Wayne, died at 4:50 p.m. Sunday (June 11, 2000) at Riverbend Healthcare Center, Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a member of the United Brethren Church of Toledo, Ohio. She had formerly resided in Toledo for 25 years and had also resided in Huntington.
She was born June 1, 1920, in Huntington to Thomas Holmes Rittenhouse and Mary Adna Jane Williams Rittenhouse. She married Gerald B. Smith June 1, 1937, in Muncie. Her husband died Jan. 31, 2000.
Survivors include two sons, Randol Smith, Toledo, and Ronald Smith, Roswell, Ga.; five daughters, Carol Dinius and Karen Payne, both of Huntington, Sonja Tabbert, Toledo, Cheryl Miller, Fort Wayne, and Candice Wajer, Clinton Township, Mich.; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Hugo Smith, and four brothers.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Deal-Robbins & Van Gilder Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, 338 E. Washington St., where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Dr. Raymond Waldfogel will officiate. Burial will be at the Lancaster Cemetery, Huntington County.
Memorial contributions may be made to any United Brethren Church.
Vonnie L. Bullock
Vonnie L. Bullock, 78, Huntington, died on Sunday (June 4, 2000).
Mrs. Bullock was an assembler at U.S. Shoe Co. for 20 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of the VFW 2689, American Legion Post 7 and Moose Lodge 255, all in Huntington.
She was born in Jamestown, Ky., on Jan. 26, 1922, to G.B. and Mary McGowan Smith. She was married to William Robert Bullock, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty F. Delph and Wanda L. Brunning, both of Indianapolis, and Beverly K. Harris, Huntington; three sons, William J. Bullock, Michigan, Louis R. Bullock, Vevay, and William R. Bullock, Connecticut; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Norman L. Bullock.
Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis.
Janet M. Worthington
Janet M. Worthington, 63, Bluffton, died at 4:11 a.m. Tuesday (June 6, 2000) at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
A lifelong Wells County resident, she had worked at Royal Lakes, Country Cupboard, and Meadowvale Care Center, all in Bluffton. She was a 1955 graduate of Bluffton High School.
She was born April 4, 1937 in Craigville, a daughter of George Reber and Hazel Shady.
Survivors include a son, Jeffrey Hildebrandt, Montpelier; two daughters, Mrs. Steven (Julia) Prible and Tonya Ragg, both of Bluffton; two stepsons, Scott Worthington, Bippus, and Larry Worthington, Huntington; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ronnie (Bonnie) Cole and Mrs. Leroy (Tina) Foster, both of Huntington; two brothers, R. Wayne Reber, Fort Wayne, and Virgil “Red” Reber, Bluffton; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at Goodwin Memorial Chapel, Bluffton. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Rev. Steve Bard officiating. Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.
Carolyn L. Burlton
Carolyn Luan Burlton, 67, formerly of 762 1/2 Poplar St., died at 10:15 a.m. Sunday (June 4, 2000) at Community Care Center, Wabash.
Mrs. Burlton had been the secretary for Vocational Rehabilitation. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Huntington.
She was born Jan. 4, 1933, in Indianapolis to Donald E. and Marie Hanna Wright. She married John Andrew Burlton April 26, 1952. Her husband died March 28, 1988.
Survivors include a son, Andrew Burlton, Elwood; five daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Deborah) Gaedtke and Mrs. Dan (Kathleen) Blacklidge, both of Indianapolis, Mrs. Bill (Theresa) Casey, Dania, Fla., Mrs. Douglas (Patricia) Meagher, Wabash, and Mrs. Randy (Jane) Howard, Hagerstown; her father and stepmother, Donald and Marge Wright, Nashville, Ind.; two brothers, Donald Wright Jr. and Stephen Wright, both of Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Bowen (Mary) Messer, Indianapolis; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, with recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m., at Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 840 Cherry St. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to the Huntington County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
