PENNVILLE - Rosaline Ault, 77, a resident of Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Center, Dunkirk, for the past year, and a longtime resident of S. Meridian Street, Pennville, died early Thursday morning, Nov. 20, 2003, en route to the Bluffton Regional Medical Center, Bluffton.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 23, at Williamson & Spencer Funeral Home, Pennville Chapel, with Pastor Randy Davis officiating.
Burial will be in the I. O. O. F. (Twin Hills) Cemetery, Dunkirk.
Calling hours are from 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, and one hour prior to services on Nov. 23 at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Jay County Heart Association.
Duane Allen Parker, 67
IMPERIAL BEACH, CALIF. - Duane Allen Parker, 67, Imperial Beach, Calif., died from complications on Friday, Oct. 10, 2003, in Sharp Medical Center, Chula Vista, Calif.
Mr. Parker was born on May 9, 1936, in Hartford City to Gerald L. Parker and Helen Stanley McClain. His father preceded him in death on December 23, 1984. His mother survives, residing in Hartford City.
Services with full military honors were conducted on Thursday, Oct. 16, at Glenn Abbey Funeral Home, Bonita, Calif.
Burial was in the Glenn Abbey Memorial Park Cemetery, Bonita, Calif.
Rose Ella Renbarger, 78
PENNVILLE - Rose Ella Renbarger, 78, 200 N. Park St., Portland, died at 10:12 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003, at Americare Center, Portland, where she had resided since September.
Mrs. Renbarger was born on May 14, 1925, in Marion to Mr. and Mrs. Edgar (Gretchen Hartley) Nichols.
She married Harry Lewis Renbarger on January 7, 1941, in Sweetser.
He survives.
Mrs. Renbarger was a homemaker and a farmer.
She also was active in the Sweetser Ladies Aid Organization.
Mrs. Renbarger was a lifelong resident of Grant County and Blackford County. She was a former resident of the Van Buren, Montpelier and Pennville communities.
She was a member of the Farrville Friends Church, Van Buren.
Mrs. Renbarger attended Sweetser High School.
Survivors in addition to her husband include a daughter, Mrs. Tom (Rebecca Ann) Wyrick, Van Buren; two brothers, Forrest Nichols, Van Buren, and Tom Nichols, El Cajon, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Jim (Carolyn) Lee, Van Buren; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Don Nichols and Bob Nichols, and two sisters, Jene Tinkle and Ruth Bowman.
Services will be conducted at 11 a. m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at Glancy Funeral Homes, Walker Chapel, 109 W. Windsor St., Montpelier, with Pastor Earl Doll officiating.
Burial was in the Pleasantdale Cemetery, Montpelier.
Calling hours will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Americare Center, 200 N. Park.
Eric Eugene Kemp, 41
HARTFORD CITY - Eric Eugene Kemp, 41, 386 N. 300 E., Hartford City, died unexpectedly at 6:35 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, at the Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis.
Mr. Kemp was born on November 30, 1961, in Hartford City, Blackford County, to Ronald E. (wife: Shelly) Kemp, Hartford City, and Chloe Ann (Hopkins) Kemp, Hartford City. They survive.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City, with the Rev. Gary Hall officiating.
The body will be cremated with the cremains interred at the Hartford City Cemetery.
Calling hours are from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, and after 8 a.m. until the time of services on Nov. 21 at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Family of Eric Kemp, 386 N. 300 E., Hartford City, IN 47348.
