William M. Christopher III, infant son of William and Beth Christopher, Clarksville, died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at Kosair Children's Hospital.
Survivors, other than his parent, a brother, William David Griffith; a sister, Lauren Taylor Stinson; grandparents, Sandra Faye Christopher, Oakland, N.J.. and Ruth and Bob Cooper, Louisville and great-grandparents, Hank and Laura Width, Manahawkin, N.J. and Jessie Ross, Benton, Ky.
Cremation was chosen. Chapman Funeral Home, Clarksville, was in charge of arrangements.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Kosair Charities.

90; of Jeffersonville
Clyde Richardson, 90, of Clark Arms in Jeffersonville, recently died. The Clark County Coroner's office is seeking relatives.

71; Air Force veteran
Funeral services for Alden L. Stewart, 71, of Jeffersonville, will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel, with graveside services at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, at New Albany National Veteran's Cemetery. He died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Elizabeth, retired from the United States Air Force. He was a
Korean War and Vietname War veteran and a member of American Legion Post 35, Jeffersonville and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1693, New Albany. He was also a member of Clark County AMVETS Post 4, Jeffersonville.
Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Smith, Severn, Maryland and Sandra Lynn Grant, Weatherford, Texas; two sons, Alden Stewart Jr., Weatherford, Texas and Leslie Gene Stewart, Fort Worth, Texas; three brothers, Buddy Stewart, Louisville, Larry Stewart, Elizabeth and Dale Stewart, Bandon; two sisters, Deloris Kent, Sellersburg and ShirleyTennant, New Albany; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral home will be after 1 p.m. Wednesday.

59; Army veteran
Funeral services for Janice Lorraine Adams, 59, of Charlestown, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, with burial in Ison-Brown Cemetery, Otisco. She died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, at her home.
She was a native of Perry County, Ky. and an Army veteran.
Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda Adams; her father, Burnette Adams and two brothers, Carroll Adams and Darrel Adams, all of Charlestown.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today, Friday, Dec. 10 and after 9 a.m. Saturday.
Sarah S. Brewer
72; co-owner of Brewers General Store
Funeral services for Sarah S. Brewer, 72, of Borden, will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 11, at Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Borden, with burial in Martinsburg Cemetery. She died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
She was a native of Jeffersonville and a co-owner of Brewers General Store in Borden. She also helped her son at J and R Liquor store in Pekin.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald W. "Bee" Brewer; two sons, David Brewer, Pekin and Ronnie Brewer and wife, Debbie, Pekin; a daughter, Sherry Goss and husband, Jim, Greenville; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Martha Small; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alva Cleo Small and Janice Ruddell Small; and a brother.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10 and after 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11.

75; retired bookkeeper
Funeral services for Jean S. Hardy, 75, of Charlestown, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery, New Washington. She died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at Medical Center of Southern Indiana.
She was a native of Young America, Ind. and a retired bookkeeper.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene Hardy, three daughters, Leigh Ann Peters, Marysville and Janice M. Hardy and Peggy L. Grote, of Indianapolis; a son, Bradley J. Ooley, Underwood; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Gregory E. Ooley.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, Friday, Dec. 10, and after 9 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral services for Helen Marrs Meyer, 76, of Sellersburg, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Sellersburg, with interment to follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. She died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, at Rolling Hills Health Care Center in New Albany.
She was retired from Colgate-Palmolive Co. She was also a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Sellersburg.
Survivors include her four sons, Charles "Butch" Meyer and wife, Jane, Sellersburg, Richard "Peanuts" Meyer, Sellersburg, Jeffrey "Gomer" Meyer, Memphis and Clark Meyer, Sellersburg; a daughter, Carol Holmes and husband, Larry, New Washington; three sisters, Jean Roberts, Sellersburg, Judy Lewis, Borden and Margie Martin, Pekin; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Friday, Dec. 10.

Funeral services for Helen C. Carpenter, 92, of New Albany, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann and Naville Funeral Home, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at Green Valley Care Center in New Albany.
She was the former Helen Conrad of Harrison County. She was a retired LPN. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Wilma Conrad, New Albany; a nephew, Fred Tate, Kingsland, Texas; and a niece, Ellen Flanigan, Corydon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew J. and Delilia F. Conrad; and a son, Donald O. Conrad.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10.

Funeral services for Lottie Cannon Elbert, 94, of New Albany, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. She died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at Wedgewood Estates Nursing Home, Mansfield, Ohio.
She was a native of Louisville and retired employee of the old W.T. Grant Store, New Albany. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and the Pilot Club of New Albany. She was a longtime Avon representative.
Survivors include a son, Ronald W. Cannon and wife, Vangie, Hartsville, S.C.; a daughter, Virginia Cannon Clay and husband, Roger, Mansfield, Ohio; stepson, Donald Elbert Sr. and wife, Ann, Lexington, Ky.; grandchildren, Geoffrey Tipton and wife, Gwen, Lisa Wideman and husband, Kevin, Debbie Raymond and husband, Doug and Donald Elbert Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Racal May Tipton, Andrew Wideman and Nicholas Wideman.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10.
