80; of New Albany
Funeral services for Wilma M. Voignier, 80, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd. in New Albany, with private burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, at Wedgewood Manor Healthcare in Clarksville.
She was a retired employee of the Michigan Basic Property Insurance Association and a Navy veteran (WAVE). She was also a member of Grace Church in Louisville and was one of the most loved and generous persons God ever made. She was always helping and giving her all to both those she knew and didn't know.
Survivors include two brothers, Clifford Voignier, Magnolia, Tex. and James Voignier, New Albany; three sisters, Margaret McElvain, Clarksville, Marilyn Lynch, New Albany and Virginia DeMent, Floyds Knobs; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 13.
Sue Foster
66; retired paralegal
Funeral services for Sue Foster, 66, of Jeffersonville, will be private. She died on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was a native of Louisville and was a retired paralegal for Virgil Boley Law Office.
Survivors include her husband, Rick Foster; two sons, James L. Gilpin Jr. and Kevin W. Gilpin; five sisters, Janet French, Apple Valley, Calif., Joyce Peterson, Calif., Bobby Jean Bowen, Clarksville, Kathryn Severs, Dover, N.J. and Nina Huffman, Calif.; two brothers, James Forster, Sun Valley, Nev. and John Forster, Oregon; 12 step-grandchildren and a step-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ann Forster; her father, John Forster and her mother, Mary Virginia Forster.
Visitation at Scott Funeral Home's Main Street Chapel, will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Monday, Oct. 11.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.

26; of Borden
Jason G. Guethe, 26, of Borden, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, at his home in Borden.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Patty and Richard McMahon; father, Richard Guethe; sister and brother-in-law, Colleen and Carl Whelan and grandmother, Catherine L. Guethe.
The body has been cremated. A commital service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.

Edith Rose Meyer
86; of Charlestown
Funeral services for Edith Rose Meyer, 86, of Charlestown, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. She died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, at Medical Center of Southern Indiana.
She was a native of Hardin County, Ky. and a former cook for the Valley Line Barge Co.
Survivors include two sons, James D. Phillips, Charlestown and Charles W. Phillips, Mt. Washington, Ky.; a daughter, Carolyn Puckett, Louisville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, Monday, Oct. 11 and after 9 a.m. Tuesday.

77; of Floyd Knobs
Bernice Batliner Hill, 77, of Floyds Knobs, died on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004 at her home in Dayton Beach, Fla.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 at St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Roger Dale Corn
53; member of Parkwood Church of the Nazarene
Funeral services for Roger Dale Corn, 53, of Louisville, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Coots Funeral Home, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery
in Louisville. He died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, in Jeffersonville.
He was a native of New Albany, a former body man at Action Auto, a fomer security guard at Precision Protection and a member of Parkwood Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his mother, Martha J. Duke, Louisville; four brothers, Steve Smith, Wadsworth, Ill., Larry Corn and Terry Duke, both of Louisville, and Bobby Duke, Jeffersonville; and three sisters, Betty Duke, Guston, Ky., Jackie Hubbell, Jeffersonville and Tina Dutton, Louisville.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Nevins.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Monday, Oct. 11.
Kenneth L. Tingle
47; employee of Alpha Machine and Tool
Funeral services for Kenneth L. Tingle, 47, of Louisville, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12 at Coots Funeral Home. Cremation has been chosen. He died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004.
He was a native of Jeffersonville and a fabricator/welder at Alpha Machine and Tool.
Survivors include his wife, T. Sue Tingle, Louisville; three sons, Jason Power, Jeffersonville, Jessie Snelling and Michael Rayburn, both of Louisville; his mother, Jean Schackert, New Albany; two brothers, Bobby Tingle, New Albany and Dwayne Tingle, Radcliff, Ky.; three grandchildren.

Thomas R. Connell Sr.
77; World War II veteran
Funeral services for Thomas R. "Bud" Connell Sr., 77, of Clarksville, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel, with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery, Jeffersonville. He died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was retired supervisor for George Pfau & Sons and was also retired as assistant director of maintenance at Clark Memorial Hospital. He was a member of American Legion Post 35 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2452, both in Jeffersonville and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Rochelle M. Connell; a son, Thomas R. Connell Jr., Louisville; three daughters, Terry Proctor, New Albany, Sheila Sykes, Port Huron, Mich. and Norma McFadden, Jeffersonville; a sister, Betty Jane Jenkins, Beaver, Penn.; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman L. Connell and Jesse Connell.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22.
Mildred Louis 'Mickey' Cooper
83; retiree of Lorrilard Tobacco Co.
Funeral services for Mildred Louis "Mickey" Cooper, 83, of Jeffersonville, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 22 at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, 1104 S. 6th St., Louisville, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. She died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004 at Medical Center of Southern Indiana, Charlestown.
She was a resident of Jeffersonville, a native of Louisville and the former Mildred Carmody. She was a retired employee of Lorillard Tobacco Company and a member of St. Bertrand Catholic Church in Louisville.
Survivors include a son, Terry (Deborah) Cooper, Clarksville; a sister, Thelma Busch, Shelbyville, Ky.; two grandchildren, Melissa (Matt) McCullough and Greg Cooper; and two great-grandchildren, Sarah and Elizabeth McCullough.
Visitation at Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 21.
