Horace Louis Badger
age 80; of Otisco
Funeral services for Horace Louis Badger, 80, of Otisco, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. He died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at Medical Center of Southern Indiana.
He was a native of Clark County, a former construction worker and an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Badger; four sons, Tom, David and Steve Badger, Charlestown and Joe Badger, Otisco; two brothers, Carl Badger, Charlestown and Bill Badger, Corydon; two sisters, Elizabeth Smith, Charlestown and Adora Goedecker, Sellersburg; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23 and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Bonnie N. Stewart Beyl
age 83; of Jeffersonville
Funeral services for Bonnie N. Stewart Beyl, 83, of Jeffersonville, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Scott Funeral Home, North Chapel, with interment in Kraft-Graceland Mausoleum. She died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was retired owner of Bonnie's Market in Jeffersonville with more than 20 years service.
Survivors include a son, Larry Larkins, Mishawaka; a daughter, Cheryle Gates, Charlestown; four grandchildren, Carla Witmer, Granger, Tracy and Terry Bloss, Mishawaka and Jacqueline and Jerry Presley, Durant, Okla. and Shannon Bates, Jeffersonville and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Malcolm Beyl and parents, William Stewart and Hattie Christ.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23.
Harold Dawson Bradshaw
age 76; of Charlestown
Funeral services for Harold Dawson Bradshaw, 76, of Charlestown, were held at 2 p.m. today, Monday, Sept. 22, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown. He died Friday, Sept. 19, 2003 at Medical Center of Southern Indiana.
He was a native of Marion County, Ky., a long time owner of H. D. Bradshaw Painting Services and a retired inspector for the Indiana Department of Weights and Measurers. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Charlestown, a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge 226, the Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine Temples, Blazing Bright Chapter 597 of the Eastern Star, the Lions Club and the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
Survivors include his wife, Dezetta Watts Bradshaw; four children, Sue Barriger and husband, John, Goshen, Ky., Larry Bradshaw and wife, Janet, Charlestown, Jan Gruebbel and husband, Steven, Louisville and Jim Bradshaw and wife, Tina, Charlestown; eight grandchildren, Johnny Barriger, Dezetta Goodwin and husband, Shane, Brian Bradshaw and wife, Jana, Andrew Bradshaw and wife, Lesley, Stephanie Gawrych and husband, Bill, Meredith Gruebbel, Candice Kuntz and husband, Matt and Nicole Bradshaw; three great-grandchildren, Peyton Bradshaw, Madeline Kuntz and Nathan Gawrych and four brothers, Harry, Jack, Gary and Sam Bradshaw.
Visitation was held Sunday at the funeral home.

Franklin J. Potts
age 78; World War II veteran
Funeral services for Franklin J. Potts, 78, of Jeffersonville, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23 at Coots Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial in the Willy's Chapel Cemetery, Memphis. He died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Borden, a truck driver for Caldwell Tank, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the V.F.W. Post 3281 in New Albany.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mary L. and Joe Kern of Clarksville, Joyce A. and Robert Whitson of Jeffersonville, and Margaret A. and Martin Joiner; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae L. Potts and a daughter, Jo Ann Rhoton.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, Monday, Sept. 22.
Carol F. Schnoll
age 59; of Borden
Carol F. Schnoll, 59, of Borden, died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at her home.
A memorial service will be held at a later date with Anderson Funeral Home, Louisville, in charge of arrangements.
Mary Ellen Swinney
age 81; of Jeffersonville
Funeral services for Mary Ellen Swinney, 81, of Jeffersonville will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23 at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg, with interment in Walnut Ridge Cemetery
in Jeffersonville. She died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003 at her home.
She was a native of Christian County, Ky., a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for more than 50 years.
Survivors include two sons, John Swinney Jr. of Charlestown and Don "Butch" Swinney; a daughter, Pam Shockley of Carmel; a sister, Anna Dean Coleman of Russellville, Ky.; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Monday, Sept. 22 at the funeral home.
Carrye E. Vincent
age 75; of Clarksville
Graveside services for Carrye E. Vincent, 75, of Clarksville, were held at 11 a.m. this morning, Monday, Sept. 22, at Louisville Memorial Gardens. She died Saturday, Sept. 20. 2003, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
Visitation was held Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., Louisville.
Edward M. Bailey
age 809; of Georgetown
Funeral services for Edward M. Bailey, 80, of Georgetown, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at Gehlbach and Royse in Georgetown, with burial in Wolfe's Cemetery
in Georgetown. He died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
He was a retired transportation director for the Floyd County School Corp., owned the Bailey Trucking Co. in Georgetown and served on the Floyd County Council and the Georgetown Town Board.
Survivors include his sister, Margaret Dean Hammersmith, Georgetown; nephew, Kevin Hammersmith, Georgetown; and niece, Tamyra Cunningham, Georgetown.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. today, Sept. 22, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at the funeral home.

age 61; of New Albany
Funeral services for Paul A. Boes, 61, of New Albany, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Paul V. Shrader Funeral Home, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. He died Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at his home.
Survivors include his five grandchildren, Kayla, Aaron, Amy, Linda and Tony Jr.; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at the funeral home.
Pauline Jane Duggan
age 90; of New Albany
Funeral services for Pauline Jane Duggan, 90, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23 at Kraft Funeral Home, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany, with a private burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Friday, Sept. 19, 2003 at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
She was born Sept. 29, 1912 in Benton, Ark. to William M. Steed and Nancy Gertrude Henderson who preceded her in death. She married James B. Duggan on Sept. 19, 1931, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 1973. He was a member of the Main Cross Baptist Church in Charlestown.
Survivors include a son, Larry Duggan and his wife, Laura, Sellersburg; three daughters, Sue Grimes of Cincinnati, Ohio, Pat Bruce and her husband, Gene, Seymour and Micky Tameris and her husband, Bob, Clarksville; a sister, Nancy Neely, Benton, Ark.; 24 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Hunter, two grandsons, a great-granddaughter, a great-grandson, two sisters and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22 at Kraft Funeral Home.
Muriel C. Smith
age 83; of New Albany
Funeral services for Muriel C. Smith, 83, of New Albany, were held at 11 a.m. this morning, Monday, Sept. 22 at Seabrook, Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Oak Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Friday, Sept. 19, 2003 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville.
She was the former Muriel C. Holaday and a member of the Mount Tabor United Methodist Church in Kentucky.
Survivors include a son-in-law, Don Norrenbrock; three grandchildren, Jim and John Norrenbrock and Shelley Maxwell and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett W. Smith and a daughter, Marcia K. Norrenbrock.
Visitation was held Sunday.
