Michael Pinnick

Funeral services for Michael Pinnick, 56, of Jeffersonville, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 9, at Coots Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
He was a native of New Albany and was employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a mail clerk at the Gardner Lane Post Office, Louisville. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam era.
Survivors include a daughter, Michelle Snow, Charlestown; three brothers, Ralph Pinnick Jr., Floyds Knobs, Joseph Pinnick, Indianapolis and Steven Pinnick; four sisters, Judy Schickel, Sarasota, Fla., Janice Nave, Athens, Ga., Ann Pinnick, Indianapolis and Joyce Dement, Floyds Knobs; a granddaughter, Jordan Snow; a grandson, Jarren Snow and a God daughter, Jessica Jeffries.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 8 and after 9 a.m. Monday.
Ronald Wayne Shuman
age 48; of Underwood
Funeral services for Ronald Wayne Shuman, 48, of Underwood, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. He died Thursday, June 5, 2003, at Audubon Hospital, Louisville.
He was a native of Confluence, Penn. a Navy veteran and fleet service manager for the United States Government Service Administration. He was a member of Sellersburg American Legion Post 204 and the Clark County Cattleman's Association.
Survivors include six sisters, Brenda Shuman and Sharon Akemon, Charlestown, Frances Craig, Otisco, Mary Spalding, Louisville, Sharon Akemon, Charlestown and Anne Edwards, Greensburg, Ky.; a brother, Blair C. Shuman Jr., Charlestown and his father, Blair C. Shuman Sr., Morgantown, Ky.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, Friday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and after 9 a.m. Sunday.
Arne Terkildsen
age 84; of Louisville
Funeral services for Arne Terkildsen, 84, of Louisville, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at Ratterman Family Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Rd., Louisville, with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery.
Among the survivors include his wife, the former Ruth Potts.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today, Friday, June 6, and after 9 a.m. Saturday.
Kenneth Ray Thompson
age 53; Army veteran
Funeral services for Kenneth Ray "Butch" Thompson, 53, of Sellersburg, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 7, at Coots Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He died Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at his home,
He was a native of Jeffersonville, an Army veteran of the Vietnam era and a truck driver for Dan Cristiani Excavating, Clarksville.
Survivors include a daughter, Kim Thompson; three sisters, Wanda Densford and Judy Marcell, Jeffersonville and Vickie Browning, Sellersburg; three brothers, Donald, Charles and John "Jack" Thompson, Jeffersonville; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Friday, June 6.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Southern Indiana.
Nellie Pearl Copple
age 96; of Nabb
Funeral services for Nellie Pearl Copple, 96, of Nabb, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Grayson Funeral Home, New Washington, with burial in Barnes Cemetery. She died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, at Scott Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include three sons, Henry Copple, Pekin, Everett Copple, Overland Park, Ill., and Ralph Copple, Nabb; three daughters, Mary Snelling, Jeffersonville, Doris Murphy, Lexington, Ky., and Sue Hartman, Otisco; a brother, Roy Graebe, Hibernia; a sister, Mary Helton, Salem; 20 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today, Monday, Dec. 2, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
George D. Dietrich
age 86; of Speed
Funeral services for George D. "Polly" Dietrich, 86, of Speed, were held at 1 p.m. today, Monday, Dec. 2, at Garr Funeral Home, with burial in Sellersburg Cemetery. He died Friday, Nov. 29, 2002, at his residence.
He was retired, after 35 years, from Essroc Cement Company in Speed. He was a member of the Sellersburg Church of Christ and the Buckner Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include a son, Melton David Dietrich, Speed; a daughter, Pamela Dietrich, Speed; two sister, Mary Naville, New Albany, and Laura Prather, Sellersburg; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Sunday, Dec. 1, at the funeral home.

Walter W. Goins
age 59; of Jeffersonville
Funeral services for Walter W. Goins, 59, of Jeffersonville, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Coots Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002, in his home.
He was a native of Ages, Ky., a retired machinist at CSX Railroad and was a member of Past Master DePaul Lodge No. 338 Shriner and Scottish Rite and Aamed Grotto.
Survivors include his wife, Marie E. Goins, Jeffersonville; a daughter, Laquata Jones, Jeffersonville; five brothers, Bart L. and Gary Goins, Lynch, Ky., Curtis E. Goins, LaGrange Ky., Bob Goins, Tallahassee, Fla., and Joe Goins, Richmond, Ky.; three sisters, Betty A. Wilder and Sharon Nesmith, Tallahassee, Fla., and Wanda S. Sergent, Nashville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Greg Thomas.

George T. Green Sr.
age 64; of Clarksville
Funeral services for George Thurman Green Sr., 64, of Clarksville, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Chapman Funeral Home, Clarksville. He died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Louisville.
He was a member of Stagehand Local 17 and was a commercial fisherman. He was a lifelong resident of Clarksville and was with Stagehand Local for 35 years and served as their business agent for 18 years. His love was for the river and he was an avid fisherman his entire life. After semi-retiring from the Stagehands he began a commercial fishing business.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Cuba Green; brother, Junie and sister, Maggie Farmer.
Survivors include a daughter Lisa Green; a son, George, both of Jeffersonville; a son, Billy; daughter-in-law, Heidi; two granddaughters, Brittaney and Gillian, both of Clarksville; a sister, Ann Byrd, Columbus; and a brother-in-law, Roscoe Farmer, Jeffersonville.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.

age 53; of North Vernon

Mallie L. Masters
age 93; of Jeffersonville
Funeral services Mallie L. Masters, 93, of Jeffersonville, were held at 11 a.m. this morning, Monday, Dec. 2, at Coots Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial in the Charlestown Cemetery.
She was a native of Taylorsville, Ky., and a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Vance, Santa Ana, Calif., and Wayne Kenneth Gary, Louisville; a daughter, Dorothy Klink, Louisville; a brother, Eugene Satterly, Apache Junction, Ariz.; a sister, Gladys McFarland, Richmond, Ind.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Masters and Kenneth Gary.
Visitation was held Sunday at the funeral home.
